RestTalk (Hisuian Sliggoo) @ Eviolite
Ability: Gooey / Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD OR 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Calm / Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Acid Spray / Draco Meteor
- Flash Cannon / Thunderbolt
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

[SET COMMENTS]
Hisuian Sliggoo's excellent typing, offenses, bulk, and high-powered STAB moves allow it to be a fantastic wall, trading away immediate Speed and potential power in exchange for greater longevity. Acid Spray discourages bulkier walls like Dusclops, Dunsparce, and Duosion from staying in on it, which pairs well with Flash Cannon's consistent damage output. Draco Meteor and either Flash Cannon or Thunderbolt, on the other hand, shift Hisuian Sliggoo's role to that of a tank, heavily threatening out most of the metagame and dealing significant damage to Water-types like Quaxwell and Wartortle. While Gooey is discourages physical attackers like Thwackey and Fraxure from staying in on it, Sap Sipper allows it to block Leech Seed from Ivysaur and be even more effective against Grass-types like Servine and Thwackey. A Calm nature and a spread of 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD makes it an extremely durable special wall, while a Modest nature and a spread of 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD maximizes its offensive power.

This Hisuian Sliggoo set is able to fit on both balance and bulkier builds. Even with increased bulk, it still remains very vulnerable to Fighting-types like Monferno, Scraggy, and Pignite, so checks to them like Seadra, Quaxwell, and Fletchinder are appreciated; the first also covers Hisuian Sliggoo's weaknesses to Ground-types like Piloswine and Krokorok and Fire-types like Monferno and Pignite, while the last provides entry hazard removal to address Hisuian Sliggoo's vulnerability to Spikes. In return, Hisuian Sliggoo can cover for Seadra and Quaxwell's weaknesses to Grass-types and Fletchinder's weakness to Water- and Electric-types. With its reliance on RestTalk for recovery, it remains susceptible to being worn down by residual damage, so hazard deterrents like Quaxwell and Hattrem can preserve its longevity. Offensive partners like Wartortle, Monferno, and Thwackey all appreciate Hisuian Sliggoo covering their weaknesses; the latter two can also provide Knock Off and U-turn support to form offensive cores. While Hisuian Sliggoo beats Tinkatuff in the long run, it hates being paralyzed and getting its Eviolite removed by Knock Off. Switch-ins to Tinkatuff like Piloswine and Gabite are greatly appreciated to absorb Thunder Wave, threaten it away with their STAB moves, and set up Stealth Rock to generate progress. In return, Hisuian Sliggoo can defend against Grass-types with Sap Sipper and cover teammates like Wartortle and Krokrorok that would struggle against them.

This set places a greater emphasis on Hisuian Sliggoo's defensive profile, trading away immediate Speed and potential power in exchange for greater longevity (you also need to mention why it makes a great wall. typing, stats, ability, moveset, etc. i dont think you need to start with explaining the difference between this set and another). Acid Spray discourages bulkier walls like Dusclops, Dunsparce, and Duosion from staying in on it, which pairs well with Flash Cannon's consistent damage output. Draco Meteor and Thunderbolt (flash cannon can also be ran beside Draco Meteor), on the other hand, shifts Hisuian Sliggoo's role as a tank, heavily threatening out most of the metagame and threatening significant damage to Water-types like Quaxwell and Wartortle. (mention abilities here). A Calm nature and a spread of 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD makes it an extremely durable special wall, while a Modest Nature and a spread of 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD leans on its offensive power.

This Hisuian Sliggoo set is able to be fit on both balanced and bulkier builds. Even with increased bulk, it still remains very vulnerable to Fighting-types like Monferno, Scraggy, and Pignite, so checks to them like Seadra and Fletchinder (Maybe Quaxwell is good as well, as it also brings Rapid Spin, which is great against Spikes which are annoying to Sliggoo) are appreciated; the former also covers against Hisuian Sliggoo's weaknesses to Ground-types like Piloswine and Krokorok. In return, Hisuian Sliggoo can cover for Seadra's weaknesses to Grass-types and Fletchinder's weakness to Water- and Electric-types. With its reliance on RestTalk for recovery, it still remains vulnerable to being worn down by residual damage, so hazard deterrents like Quaxwell and Hattrem can preserve its longevity (Ok, here it is Quax. Maybe you could repeat it just on the top, because at the end, it also checks fires and pilo). Offensive partners like Wartortle, Monferno, and Thwackey all appreciate Hisuian Sliggoo covering their weaknesses; the latter two can also provide Knock Off and U-turn support to form offensive cores. While Hisuian Sliggoo beats Tinkatuff in the long run, it hates being paralyzed and being affected by Knock Off. Switch-ins to Tinkatuff like Piloswine and Gabite are greatly appreciated to absorb Thunder Wave, threaten it away with their STAB moves, and set up Stealth Rock for progress. In return, Hisuian Sliggoo can defend against Grass-types with Sap Sipper and cover teammates like Wartortle and Krokrorok that would struggle against them.
