This is the third team I've posted, and although it's a bit strange at first glance, It's really quite good.
Arthur (Slowking) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Trick Room
- Trick
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic
This Slowking is an impressive tank. You have a lot of options, as long as you're not facing a dark type:
-Use Trick to switch items and force them to use one move over and over
- Use trick room to make Slowking move first
-Nasty Plot/Physic to attack
No, It's not Named (Crobat) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
- Air Slash
- U-turn
- Taunt
- Whirlwind
Crobat is almost always my starter. Using taunt to prevent entry hazards is a useful strategy. Whirlwind takes care of a Substitute-and-buff strategy, and air slash and x-scissor are great for quickly taking out grass or physic types. Personally, I think Crobat should be OU. It's underrated. Wonderful pokemon if you like annoying our foes and ruining their strategies.
Backwater (Scrafty) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Crunch
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
Scrafty has a very diverse movepool, and therefore makes a great sweeper. Dragon dance is good for spamming while an opponent sets up, and then crush them with STAB moves. Outrage comes in handy against dragons. Moxie increases your momentum while sweeping. Lum berry takes away confusion after "Raging," and also helps with people who try to burn/poison you.
Bugalo (Heracross) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 8 Hp
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Substitute
- Megahorn
- Close Combat
I wanted to have a Guts/Toxic Orb pokemon, and Herracross was always my favorite pokemon when I was little. The basic strategy is to swords dance on first turn, get your attack up to x2.3%, and attack until you faint. A very stable strategy, as Bugalo's moves leave no type uncovered. I do feel kind of bad sacrificing it. But, on the other hand, It can knock out three pokemon in a row.
I Don't Even Know (Porygon-Z) @ Full Incense
Trait: Analytic
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Trick
Porygon is a cool pokemon, and it would be even if it had a Pidgey's stats and a Metapod's movepool. But it can also be very useful. The full incense/analytic combo powers up its moves, and you can always use trick if you want to move first. Nasty plot will power it up even more. It could use something to cover fighting types, though. Maybe Hidden power, I don't know.
I heard you like (Swampert) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Gentle Nature
- Earthquake
- Hydro Pump
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
Okay, I know the names unoriginal, but still. It's the same Swampert as I had in my Sapphire version, and it served me well. Sleep talk and rest are good ways to annoy. Strong STAB moves are good for wiping out fire types, ground types, and steel types. A great balanced pokemon, hindered only by it's lack of a good ability. The meme somehow helps it be strong. It seems a bit out of place on this team, however, and it might need to be replaced.
Thanks for reading and rating!
(I think I'll trademark that)
