This team is designed to keep constant pressure on my opponent, while at the same time keeping myself in control defensively, with stuff like Will-O-Wisp and Stealth Rock to hinder their offense, as well as Wish support, and Yawn, which is an amazing control move.
Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 216 HP/56 Atk/60 Def/176 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Outrage
- Substitute
Sub+DD Gyarados is a beast. Turn 1, Substitute in the face of Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, etc... from slower Pokemon, or Stealth Rock. That is if you aren't forcing a switch. Waterfall + Outrage has very similar type coverage to the standard Waterfall + Return, however Outrage does more damage in general, and is way more effective against stuff like Salamence, Latias, and Dragonite, who can wall this set otherwise. Furthermore, this is only my lead Pokemon, so while they are wasting time trying to stealth rock and set their game up, I've already taken the momentum of the game, since at worst I'm badly hurting whatever Gyara counter they have, and switching out with at least 88% of my health to spare. Although the majority of Gyarados' counters won't be able to touch me, I still have to watch out for stuff like Empoleon, faster Pokemon that can Taunt, like Crobat, and stuff like Aerodactyl and Infernape that can utilize Focus Sash to help neutralize Gyarados.

Heracross (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Guts
EVs: 40 HP/252 Atk/144 Spd/72 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Megahorn
- Night Slash
- Stone Edge
My check for Starmies, Gengars, and Electric Pokemon. Can take any electric attack aimed at Gyarados, and usually OHKO with Heracross' monstrous attack. Night Slash the Rotom or Gengar that will probably be coming in, plus the high CH rate helps against Salamence or Gyarados' Intimidate. Stone Edge the aforementioned Pokemon, and the other two attacks are for doing massive STAB damage to anything that doesn't resist it. This Pokemon is here to wear stuff down so that one my two key Pokemon can sweep later. Also finishes stuff off that is still a threat to my other, slower Pokemon. Main problems are Gengar and Salamence that switch in after me, although Zapdos is a problem as well, since it kind of scares my team.
---
Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP/68 Def/56 SAtk/136 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Dragon Pulse
- Stealth Rock
- Flamethrower
- Will-o-wisp
This is the best counter I could figure out against stuff like mixed Dragons, since it resists both Dragon and Fire. Also it can absorb random status (it likes being Will-O-Wisped, is immune to Poison, and doesn't really care to be Paralyzed), and set up Stealth Rock. I normally Will-O-Wisp the first turn this thing is out, since they will likely be switching to something like Swampert. Main problems are opposing Heatran, whom I can't touch at all (Substitute Heatran is extremely annoying), and Water Pokemon, particularly ones that set up, like Suicune and Gyarados, although Gengar can handle both moderately well. Also troubled by Lucario and other fighters.
---
Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 192 HP/252 Def/8 SAtk/56 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Wish
- Yawn
- Ice Beam
Yawn is an amazing move in general, and works great to keep myself safe from Nasty Plot Porygon-Z, Raikou, etc... Plus its fun to Yawn a Vaporeon counter as it comes in, Wish as they switch out, and switch as they switch back in, all-the-while maintaining momentum and control. Anyways this is my Wish support, my team is pretty delicate, so this thing comes in handy to ressurect an important counter against the opposition. It also lets me heal 25% on Gyarados when Stealth Rock is in play, when I need to start sweeping.
Like Gyarados, Vaporeon is troubled by stuff that uses Taunt, as well as Pokemon like Rotom and Zapdos, although neither can ohko unboosted, and neither like being put to sleep.

Flygon (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 64 HP/200 Atk/64 Def/180 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Flamethrower
- Roost
I'm a little iffy on Outrage as opposed to Dragon Claw, but it hasn't directly cost me any games yet. This is my main late-game sweeper. by now most of their faster threats were taken care of by either Heracross or Gengar, and their "bulky Water" Pokemon weakened by Gyarados. Originally it had U-Turn and Choice Band, but this is a superior set outside of the lead position, and Roost is invaluable on a cool Pokemon like Flygon. Plus Flamethrower was kind of "useless" with choice band, since I'd hate to lock myself into an unboosted move. Flygon is also my answer to any Electric that doesn't have HP Ice, and one of my solutions to Pokemon like Tyranitar and Metagross.
Main problems for Flygon are CB-Scizor (particularly when locked into Outrage), and Salamence. Heatran and Gengar (respectively) take care of those for me.

Gengar (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 80 HP/176 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Trick
- Hidden Power [Ice]
My answer to the Dragon Dancing...um... Dragons. Also counters Lucario and similar stuff decently. Late game if Gengar is still alive I can Trick the Choice Scarf onto their Blissey or Jirachi or whatever that they bring in as their Gengar counter. Like Heracross, Gengar can finish stuff off that my other Pokemon are too slow to handle.
Main problems are Blissey, Tyranitar, and Heatran. Heracross or Flygon can handle the first two, and Vaporeon or Gyarados can handle the heat train.
