SV OU Double Choice, Double Attack Volt-Turn Balance[RMT] 1700s

Introduction: The original premise of this team was to 1st turn troll samurott with Dragapults banded u-turn and switching into landorous helmet denying spikes. But after building the rest of the team and making some changes, this team actually became really competitively good and fun! The main premise of this team is to mostly use your slow-pivots to generate crazy amounts of momentum and nuking their team with strong neutral moves. This team will always force progress, and if you play your mons right and make more progress than them, you will come out on top.

Great Tusk @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Spinner
- Headlong Rush
- Knock Off

The goat. Your only hazard removal, but max attack tusk always forces progress with knock and strong damage. Also this mon is one of the only ice coverage against gliscor and lando. Knock-off really useful to smash ghosts(ghold, pult) and always a strong midground to remove a item, knocking off moltres is also really strong to force it to take 50% from rocks opening up your wallbreakers. Tera-Steel is mostly for fairies and is one of your only answers against roaring-moon.

Dragapult @ Choice Band
Ability: Clear Body
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Darts
- Tera Blast
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp

Banded-pult is really underrated right now. Dragon Darts stab is really hard to check besides fairies and some steels, if they don't have either its free damage. Clear Body is so ur immune to landos intimidate, and will nuke the premier defensive wall: 252 Atk Choice Band Dragapult Dragon Darts (2 hits) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Landorus-Therian: 254-300 (66.4 - 78.5%) -- approx. 2HKO

Also there's always dragons in the meta, with the 2nd best speed tier you essentially become the top dog and mog them. Kyurem-sub is not a check due to double attack form band. U-turn is really powerful physical pivot also really strong to nuke darkrai. Tera-blast Ghost is a solid neutral stab if you see their team has a lot of fairies/steels. Will-o-wisp is usually a filler move, as to burn some physical sweepers/attackers and really useful for predicting a switch. Main target is gambito, and sometimes if u don't show the other moves, people will think this is probably hex-pult. You can consider running sucker/quick attack for revenge killing but you give up a lot of momentum after you ko their mon.

Iron Crown @ Choice Specs
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Tachyon Cutter
- Psyshock
- Volt Switch
- Focus Blast

This mon is so freaking good rn. Your special wallbreaker, with strong taychon cutter STAB allowing it to nuke everything with amazing typing. Taychon Tera-Steel has almost no checks and removing your psychic type allows you to flip matchups on dark types and pult. Psyshock is really useful to nuke slowking-g and blissey and just overall strong neutral stab. You can consider running psychic noise to prevent corv from healing, kill zama and tusk. Volt-switch is really powerful pivot that also allows you to nuke corv and skarm. Focus-blast is mostly for ting-lu and gambit. I considered running an assault vest set, but this specs set just gives me so many KO's and honestly clicking big damage button is so much fun and is easier.

Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Smack Down

The OG OU Goat is back. I like this defensive set over the fast taunter, because its not that necessary as tusk is already a fast ground type. This set is just mostly to wall physical attackers and setup rocks with u-turn pivot. I much prefer EQ over EP as I mostly use it hit most mons a little more, especially glowking. Glimmora t-spikes not a threat due to 80% of this team being immune and Glowking removes anyways. Also since no -attack nature it boosts u-turn really forcing a decent amount of more damage than previous. 4th move I opted for smack down to kill moltres and threaten skarm and corv. You can definitely run taunt for gliscor and for other general utility. Tera-water is to tank water and ice moves. This mon is your primary roaring-moon and zama check so keep it healthy in the back. Helmet is always amazing to force damage against physical attackers and at the beginning to troll samurott and also deny spinning in certain scenarios.

Alomomola @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Scald
- Flip Turn
- Wish
- Protect

Mola on this team is mostly used to sponge attacks and pivot. Wish-passing is always OP to give life back to your mons especially your wallbreakers, but most of the time I prefer to just gain momentum with flip-turn. Scald is mostly for fishing burns against physical attackers like zama and roaring moon. Tera fairy is mostly to tank knock-off from roaring moon and also wall zama completely. The 4th over u can opt for protect/tickle. U can consider running red-card instead of HDB with tera-flying acro to wall ogerpon-w and red-card just useful against a scary setup mon.

Slowking-Galar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Future Sight
- Chilly Reception
- Sludge Bomb
- Trick

The current gen9 goat of OU IMO. This mon is your main special wall, that generates amazing momentum and utility. Future-sight is really great paired with any attack on this team that will guarantee a KO. Sludge-bomb strong STAB to stop fairies, strong neutral attack with chance of poisoning. I really like to use trick-black sludge to cripple garg, skarm, corv, gliscor(no orb), unaware walls, ting-lu. Also having black-sludge trick allows you to be the best trick fodder against gholdengo and some stall trick mons. Also Glowking is often a knock fodder, you can steal a opponents item if you get knocked. Tera-water for Sun and Rain matchups which you cook to, just make sure you trick before u tera. Chilly-reception also is such a good slow-pivot move gaining you momentum for you wallbreakers.

Some Threats:
-Roaring moon can get out of control if lando is unhealthy and mola doesn't burn it
-No Ogerpon-W checks and mola is just food for it
-Really bulky/stall hazard stack is hard as their are no setup mons
-Gliscor can be a pain as it can protect against the choices mons and setups spikes and knocks, and no one is strong enough to kill it besides tusk
-ting-lu is also a pain as it gets free hazards and again no-one is immediately powerful enough to do significant damage and also can deal significant damage to your breakers
-heatran kinda annoying as it walls both your wallbreakers
-iron-moth at +1 with speed can be a menace as it has coverage against everyone on this team
-scarf samut can actually wreck u turn 1 but fuck it, we risk it anyways

A potential 7th mon:
Hatterene @ Red Card
Ability: Magic Bounce
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Healing Wish
- Psychic Noise
- Draining Kiss
- Nuzzle

Use this instead of Alo. This mon flips the matchup on ting-lu and gliscor. It walls both and can dish damage back. Red Card, nuzzle is a nasty combo to get a free para on something or just force a free switch out on a mon. Healing wish again gives one of your mons a 2nd life. Magic Bounce is a hazard deterrent allowing you to freely use your other mons and sometimes if you predict right against spikes/rocks =progress.

I really like this team as it always produces fun quick matches and if you use superior positioning and out-turn your opponents you will usually finish ahead. Feel free to comment any changes you would like to make, and have fun laddering!
