SS OU Double dragon offense (Peaked 1421)

The general idea of this team is the same as my previous one, to use a sorta dragmag style core with two dragons and magnezone to beat the opponent. The main difference is the dragons, instead of cb dnite an eb kyurem, this team uses ddance dnite and specs dragapult

Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Punch
- Dual Wingbeat
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
First off is dragonite, the setup sweepers, and by extension, wincon of the team. Dual wingbeat is the stab of choice, with ice punch acting as coverage to beat mons like lando and chomp, though eq could be an option to help beat steels. Roost is to help keep scale up throughout a match, though this move could also be replaced with something like eq if you dont click it that much.

Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- U-turn
Next up, the special wallbreaker, dragapult. Pult acts as pseudo speed control with its great base speed. Choice specs give pult the power it needs to deal significant damage with its base 100 spa, which while not bad, does sometimes leave it wishing for more power. Sball and draco for stab, flamethrower to roast unsuspecting steels, and u-turn to pivot out of unfavorable matchups.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 Def / 164 SpA / 92 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Body Press
- Iron Defense
- Substitute
The "mag" in magdrag, magnezone. The typical move set, but an ev spread to give a bit of speed and power rather than just fully defensive. I'm not to sure about iron defense as I don't really need to click it most of the time I use zone to trap something.

Tapu Fini @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 60 HP / 228 SpA / 4 SpD / 216 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Scald
- Moonblast
- Trick
The actual speed control of the team, tapu fini. I've been using this on some of my teams recently, and its been doing pretty well. Fini also provides crucial role compression for this team by being both the scarfer and defoger of the team. Trick lets fini cripple walls, scald and moonblast are for stab. This specific ev spread lets Fini ohko weav from full and out speed +1 252 spe jolly dnite. Hydro pump or surf could be options over scald to better revenge kill certain mons.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 28 Def / 228 SpD
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock
Spdef lando acts as the stealth rocker of the team, and a powerful pivot. The moveset and ev spread are the standard ones, not much to say here, its Lando being lando.

Zapdos-Galar @ Expert Belt
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- Stomping Tantrum
- U-turn
Finally, eb gapdos. The reason for eb over band is to be able to switch moves throughout the game and fake something like a band instead. The ev spreas and moveset are pretty standard, you could run thunderous kick or drill peck over tantrum, but I prefer the extra coverage to hit things like the niche aegeslash as well as the much more common tapu koko.

Anyways, heres the pokepaste, have fun trying out the team and have a great day.

1) make magnezone flash cannon > sub, you beat ferro regardless and not being fother for CM clefable or not being able to hurt tapu lele is pretty nice after all your team is based around double drag so getting rid of pesky clef is always nice.

2) Give zapdos-g choice band. Most of your checks are pokemon that zapdos-g hits them neutral for, stuff such as landorus-t, clefable, and corviknight so a CB boost is greatly appreciated to hit them harder on the switch

3) Dragonite being walled by heatran is not a great sight... it should be eq/ice punch or DWB/eq as the hit on tran is much more important and dual wingbeat usually hits similar things as ice punch while eq allows it to clean would be counters such as heatran, tyranitar, and bisharp

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be sure to try them out when I get the chance.
