VGC Double Fairy Core

So, this team, i had for the late 2014 season so I can win a few premier challenges. This team consised of beating dragons in the format and also slowing down the fast metagame that is VGC 2014. So, these are the pokemon I used to test double fairy.

Gardevoir @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Trace
EVs: 52 HP / 252 SpA / 204 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Thunderbolt
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
The reason why i picked Gardevoir is because it is one of the most useful pokemon in the meta, beating chomp 1 on 1. also, gardevoir has some great bulk. I used choice scarf to outpace other dragons and kill then in one shot. I realized that gardevoir didnt need 252 speed, since it outpaces mega manectric and aerodactyl. the only thing it couldnt outpace was mega aerodactyl, jumpluff, things like that. Also, It helpedme beat the Big 6 in the meta, excluding Talonflame.
Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 64 Atk / 180 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Play Rough
- Protect
- Sucker Punch
The other part of the Double Fairy core, Mawile. It has such monstrous attack and so Bulky so I had to slap it on the squad. Mawile has won me so many games just because of the sheer power it has. it can OHKO scrafty even when it is burned. It also helps me out a little against rain, since people use talonflame for venusaur. And it can help me against some of the big 6.
Rotom-Wash @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 116 SpA / 140 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Thunderbolt
- Protect
- Will-O-Wisp
Rotom-Wash was a staple because of the sheer power it has. It can stay on the field and take a ton of hits, also it can handle threats like the heat form and also a Talonflame check. It has molded this meagame and also has been frequent in 2013.
Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- King's Shield
- Sacred Sword
- Shadow Ball
- Substitute
Another Kanga Counter, It is a back-up just in case i can't handle Kagashkan with mawile. It also beats Scizor effectively. I also have a problem With ferrothorn, so i put Sacred Sword, although i am considering putting back on flash cannon.
Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rock Slide
- Sky Drop
- Tailwind
- Protect
Aerodactyl is one of my support pokemon. First, it serves as a check to Talonflame, since it cant do much to aero, and aero can ohko it back with a rock slide. This aerodactyl serves as an answer to smeargle, since i can sky drop it and kill it next turn, breaking its sash. It has tailwind, just in case i need to outspeed a pokemon late game. It helps me beat pokemon like ludicolo.
Furfrou @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Swagger
- Return
- Charm
Furfrou. This pokemon can surprisingly tank a lot of hits, since it is one of the bulkier pokemon. With its fur coat, it can cut physical attacks in 1/2. I picked thunder wave to slow down fast threats, swagger to throw in some luck, return for a STAb move, and charm to cripple garchomp.

I don't know if I should keep furfrou, or if i should put a better supporter or even a fire type on the team to beat pokemon like ferrothorn, that give me so many problms with its staying power.
