[Doubles]Art of Switching

I wrote up an article basically explaining the finer points and ins-and-outs of switches in dubs. It is more advanced to complement all of the beginner resources dubs already has. Things like opportunity cost, types of switches and defensive synergy are covered.
Laga and Pwnemon said that I should post here to ask for approval.

I wouldn't mind having this article. And, looking over your history, you're an active member of the Doubles community, though whether your information is correct or not I do not know.

I think the best thing we can do is for you to share your credentials. youngjake93, have you done anything notable for Doubles that you'd like to share and/or do you know anyone who can vouch for your knowledge? If you have done RMTs, that's also a plus!

I have an XY doubles warstory and RMT on site. I just made it into SPLs. I have shared my info with a bunch of great member of doubles for quality control including Audio, Laga, Pocket, etc. Audiosurfer would probably be the best person to ask to vouch for me and has actually asked me to write a full doubles guide. I've been an active member of Doubles since its induction as an Other Metagame.
Also, I've made it over 2k on the ladder a couple of times(which was top 5 then) and had to beat most of the prominent doubles players and share replays in order to qualify for a spot in SPL.
Idk what else to share lol, I think that's about as many credentials as your average joe can have.

Yeah, that's enough. :) sandshrewz and I approve this article. I'll tag Birkal for your access to Article Workshop asap.

When you post your thread in the Article Workshop, you need to set labels for it. As your article is for Battling Strategy, you can use BS to indicate that it's for Battling Strategy. You'll need to set the issue's number too. Since this is our 32nd issue, it'll look like this: [32-BS]. For the tags that say WIP, Grammar, etc, those are the stages your article are in. Since you'll ideally be working on it after posting, mark it as WIP. When you finish, move it to Grammar and get it checked twice by other people. Afterward is the HTML stage and someone will put it into HTML code. Your article will eventually get art done for it and it'll be complete!

Thanks for your interest in writing for The Smog! You can discuss the progress of your article on #thesmog (on synirc) with other writers, however keep in mind this is the only place you can discuss your article(s). If you have any questions, feel free to PM any of The Smog Staff, otherwise enjoy your time writing for the webzine. :)
