Hello! I'm new to the doubles format, and fairly new to competitive battling scene in general. That being said, I'd like some criticism and feedback on my Doubles team. ^^

Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Fake Out
- Thunderbolt
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Lightning Rod to possibly take attacks for Togekiss and Gyarados. Fake out can be used in conjunction with Togekiss' Tailwind to help it set up. T-bolt for reliable STAB; Grass Knot for bulky waters/bulky pokes in general and HP ice to hit flying and dragon types hard. EV's to hit as hard and fast.
Togekiss @ Mental Herb
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 4 SpA / 28 SpD / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
- Follow Me
- Air Slash
- Tailwind
- Roost
Follow Me would be to center attacks on itself, allowing Pikachu to fight and Gyarados to set up a Dragon Dance. Air Slash and Serene Grace for a likely flinch and STAB. Tailwind to boost speed and Roost to restore lost health after a Follow Me. Mental Herb is to prevent Taunt for Tailwind. HP and Defense EV's to survive Iron Head from Bisharp. Speed EV's to outrun Rotom-W.

Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Protect
Waterfall for a reliable STAB and to cripple/kill Heatran/Talonflame; EQ for spread hits and protect to scout foes and avoid status'. DD is to be used in conjunction with Togekiss' Follow Me to prepare for possible sweeps. Adamant nature for power, max speed and attack to hit as fast and as hard as possible.
Shuckle @ Mental Herb
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Guard Split
- Protect
- Infestation
- Power Split
Shuckle's to be sent out with Chansey. Protect on the first turn out in case of Fake Out. Then Guard Split with Chansey so she can stall with Toxic/Soft Boiled. Shuckle can trap potential threats with Infestation and then Power Swap with them. Mental Herb to block Taunts.
Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Toxic
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
- Wish
Chansey has the stereotypical stall set. Toxic to whittle down health, Soft Boiled for recovery, Seismic Toss to take out substitutes and Wish to heal other pokemon.
Gallade (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Justified
EVs: 132 HP / 196 Atk / 180 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- Wide Guard
- Icy Wind
Close Combat for powerful STAB, Knock Off for Cresselia/Aegislash and to weaken tanks/stallers; Wide Guard to protect for spread attacks and Icy Wind for speed control. Adamant for 1HKO on Mega Khan and EV spread to outspeed B-sharp. Focus Sash to survive 1HKO's
Overview: This team is supported a lot by Tailwind. I have Shuckle and Chansey for stalls and Gallade and Gyarados for possible sweeps/tank breakers.
