Its been 2 gens since i did a rmt and ive had some success with this team, i peaked at 1431 on the ladder and am looking for a few tweaks to make it a little better at dealing with stall teams and well balanced teams in general. Most of the team is made of things that have beaten me or things that counter what beats me most of the time, if you cant beat em, join em. A lot of the metagame has also changed with the fairy typing so there are a few steel type attacks that i put in for good measure. Any input would be greatly accepted

I have always loved Groudon. I always felt like starting an ubers team with scarf kyogre was too easy and almost a cop out so I always started my ubers teams with him. He is my physical wall and general annoyer. So many threats in ubers are rendered nearly useless without their speed. Xerneas can say goodbye to the moonblast sweeps and arceus hates being paralyzed. Usually my lead, he paralyzes, sets up stealth rocks and roars away. Earthquake is there for STAB and hurts most things to a reasonable degree. Roar is for arceus who has some swords dance under his belt. Ideally I can paralyze it after it gets up a SD and then roar it away making it a much less significant threat. Groudon can also survive a +4 extremespeed which comes in very handy as that can be very hard to stop being that my team has no ghosts.

Suckerpunch
Foul Play
Rock Slide
Steel Wing
At first I thought nothing much of Yveltal but after being massacred by it a few times I decided to try him out and I have never looked back. Priority STAB sucker punch with 397 attack hits every thing extremely hard and OHKOs all mewtwo and mewtwo Y sets that I have come across. Foul play is such a great move in 6th gen and good for stab as well as when they try to predict sucker punch. Rock slide is for the OHKO on ho oh and hitting arceus electric which gives me loads of trouble. Steel wing is a great move on this set because people will switch in a xerneas, geomancy as I steel wing and then I sucker punch for the KO.
Mewtwo@lum berry

Timid Nature (+Spe -Atk)
EVs: 252 Spatk 252 Spe 4 Def
Moveset:
Calm Mind
Psystrike
Aura Sphere
Ice Beam
I firmly believe regular mewtwo is better than mega mewtwo x or y as I have tried all three. Y simply doesnt have the natural bulk and X doesnt have the greatest movepool or speed. I love lum berry on mewtwo as being paralyzed basically ruins him and you can use him as a lead against a smeargle or darkrai as you just aura sphere as they spore/dark void and you get an easy 2HKO. Psystrike hits most things hard in general and Ice beam is for lugia, dragons and groudon. Aura sphere hits rock types but im considering changing this to flamethrower as defensive aegislash has been a pain and skarmory walls me quite well. Even after a CM, normal arceus and skarmory dont take that much damage and can roost/whirlwind or extremespeed for the KO. Overall though, I think mewtwo is too versatile of a mon to be left off of most teams.
Arceus@lum berry

Adamant Nature (+Atk -Spatk)

Swords Dance
Extremespeed
Iron head
Will-o-wisp
I like this set for normal arceus over most generic max speed max attack silk scarf sets. I dont need the speed 9 times out of 10 with extremespeed and the extra bulk helps alot more than you would think. Regardless it still takes two hits with a +2Espeed to KO another normal arceus, mine just does 62%the first time instead of like 80% or whatever the calc is. Iron head is for Xerneas and Mega Gengar. Will O Wisp is for mons who dont mind an extremespeed but more often than not its for already boosted arceus after my groudon is dead. If they are at full health, i cant out extremespeed them but I can always survive one with my extra hp and burning them is crippling. This set is also pretty good at killing mega gengar. Gengar switches in, I iron head as he mega evolves, this either KOs him or takes him below substitute levels. Next turn I will o wisp and that kills him and Destiny bond doesnt affect me. If he still has some hp left after WOW then I just extremespeed and it doesnt hit him so the destiny bond doesnt go into affect. This is the best way I have been able to deal with this little prick, otherwise he basically forces you to sac a mon.

Substitute
Ive played around with Ho-oH and I feel like he is necessary on my team because of Fires Resistance to Fairy, mainly moonblast. I used to run a +spdef nature with max hp, spdef which tanks literally every thing exept kyogre in the rain, but we'll get to that later. The only problem was brave bird and sacred fire werent packing very much of a punch so I decided to go to an offensive set. Even though I dont have a spinner/defoger on the team I still think he can be a big threat especially behind a sub he hits kyogre hard with brave bird and has a chance to burn arceus. I know Brave Bird is 120 x 1.5 = 180 hits xerneas harder than Iron head 80x2 = 160 but if its paralyzed i like the likelihood of flinch/parahax to save me some hp being that Brave Bird doesnt OHKO anyway. It also Hits arceus rock which Ive seen alot more. Ho oH also walls kyurem white even though i havent seen him at all in XY for some reason and his spdef stat is still massive enough to wall any special move that isnt boosted or supereffective and some that are. I like lum berry over lefties because I hate being paralyzed or toxic stalled and i can hit darkrai for free. Being that I dont have a spinner, he doesnt last too long anyways so lefties is not really necessary.

EVs: 252 hp 252 Spdef 4 spe

Fire Blast
Thunder
Spacial Rend
This guy is a monster. Kyogre after stealth rocks water spout does 7%...yes you read that right. Specs Kyogre Thunder is around 30-35% and I dominate it with thunder despite no spatk investment. He totally shuts down kyogre completely and walls every special attack barring a +2 moonblast. Even powerful dragon moves are taken well and I retaliate with spacial rends. I used to have a scarf on palkia but he was still used as an ogre check but this makes him all that much better and palkia doesnt really need any other moves as these provide fantastic coverage. Aura sphere doesnt do too much against normal arceus anyway and rain boosted surfs hit really hard with 336spatk. He can effectively hit ho oh, lugia, all dragons, ferrothorn, lucario, arceus fire, water, grass, rock, ground, dragon, flying, bug and scizor. I love assault vest on Palkia and he provides so much with the ability to just tank hits from things.
I deal with Xerneas and Extremekiller pretty well and I think those are the biggest threats in the metagame right now, kyogre is no problem at all especially after a few SR switch ins arceus can espeed it if Palkia is dead. My biggest weaknesses are stall teams, Ive never done well against them. Defensive Aegislash is a pain and things like water absorb gastrodon and skarmory still give me problems as ho oh and palkias fire blast are my only fire attacks and I have no grass moves. Mega gengar and Khangaskhan arent that big of an issue for me but teams that focus on toxic and phazing are tough. I also have lots of trouble with ditto in the late game if arceus has a SD or two under his belt. Looking for any and all suggestions, thanks!
