SS OU DRAGA-CHOMP OFFENCE TEAM #2

I cannot make it past 1400 with this team in the ladder, pls help

:ss/dragapult:
Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- U-turn
- Flamethrower
pult is used as special offence choice sweeper with u-turn to pivot and shadowball to stab other switch ins.
draco meteor is used to one shot slower attackers like urshifu and garchomp, flame thrower as coverage for ice types.

:ss/garchomp:
Garchomp @ Life Orb
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Scale Shot
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang
the main sweeper of the team , fire fang is for coverage against steel type switch ins. +2 earthquake is the best option I use to OHKO clefable without unaware, hes also able to live a moonblast from it which helps greatly. scale shot is my choice for dealing with slower dragon types, as well as a good set up for outspending most of the meta.

:ss/landorus-therian:
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
scarfed lando for speed control and knock off utility. earthquake is used to get rid of slower offensive threats like heatran and tapukoko, stone edge does a decent amount on flying type switch ins. landorus also works well as an electric and ground resistance as well as intimidate to debuff offensive threats.

:ss/corviknight:
Corviknight @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 SpD
Impish Nature
- Body Press
- U-turn
- Brave Bird
- Roost
a defensive pivot and the main switch in for ice or dragon threats, brave bird is used as an answer for hawlucha. body press is for coverage against magnezone as well as a good stab move for steel or ice switch ins. I picked roost over defog for longetivety, since the team is mostly offence I figured defog would be unnecessary

:ss/tapu lele:
Tapu Lele @ Life Orb
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Moonblast
- Thunderbolt
used as a switch in for dragon threats, life orb special offence to stab bulky mons and get rid of offensive mons. I picked the calm mind set since most players expect a scarfed tapu, thunder bolt is for coverage against water and flying types, psyshock is to deal a decent amount of damage on specially defensive switch ins.

:ss/swampert:
Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Damp
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Flip Turn
- Earthquake
- Toxic
stealth rock+toxic utility with flip turn pivot , I mostly use him as a lead usually to get the rocks up, earthquake is used for chipping mons so the sweepers can finish them off, toxic utility is used to status mons with potential longetivity, flip turn is to pivot out of offensive switch ins.

I'll try to rate this as best I can since I too am using a Garchomp and Dragapult team

:Dragapult: and :Corviknight: seems fine to me. However, :leftovers: > :life orb: on :Garchomp:. Seeing as this is your main sweeper, you do not want this to kill itself while trying to sweep. Never use life orb on Garchomp unless you're on hyper offense. The damage increase just isn't worth it when you're gonna kill yourself and Garchomp will be taking one or two hits or worse, rocky helmet, so keep that in mind

For :Landorus-therian:, it's better if you go for a defensive spread. Running scarf Lando on a team with Dragapult is not really a good idea as Pult already serves as speed control. The only risk you're running is if you run to other Dragapults. That is a huge annoyance but it's not that unmanageable with good play. Running defensive spread would also allow you to check Zeraora and opposing Garchomps more effectively

On Lele, it's better if you go :choice specs: > :life orb:. Life orb really sucks atm. It's even worse on Lele as you take neutral damage to stealth rock as compared to Garchomp's resistance to it. Specs Lele is one of, if not, the best, specs user in the tier with its ability only accentuating its stab. Unlike Kyurem, it is crucially not weak to stealth rock. I suggest specs over cm because you are rarely gonna click cm. It's almost always better to just click a move and drop something rather than set up

Finally, I would suggest spdef :Clefable: over :Swampert:. With Lando now taking the rocker role, the only thing that's missing is a way to stave off Dragapult. Take note that spdef Clef will not hold off Dragapult forever because of spdef drops but it serves as a buffer to it while having crucial utility in knock off, which would remove Ferrothorn and Heatran's, two common Clef switchins, leftovers. This Clef set is just a sample set. I don't know the exact spread it runs and this is just what I can think off the top of my head

Here is the updated team

Edit: Use thunder wave over teleport on Clef since teleport and softboiled are incompatible with each other
