VGC Dragapult

Dragapult @ Life Orb
Ability: Clear Body
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Phantom Force
- Dragon Darts
- Fly
- Dive

Dragapult is one of the spookiest offensive options in the VGC metagame, combining two powerful STAB Max Moves with the sought-after supportive capabilities of increasing Speed and weather control. Thanks to Clear Body, its Speed tier, and a wide array of coverage options, it boasts strong matchups against the likes of Regieleki, Charizard, and Rillaboom. Dive allows Dragapult to consistently set rain via Max Geyser for its go-to ally, Kyogre. Dragapult's other two-turn moves have plenty of merit as well, being able to dodge Max Moves in their turn of invulnerability, and Phantom Force can also score Defense drops for partners like Kartana and Urshifu-S to benefit from while Fly lets it have a reliable Max Airstream for quickly securing the Speed advantage. Additionally, Dragon Darts can serve as a clutch spread move or a strong Max Wyrmwind for crippling physical attackers like Groudon and Landorus-T. However, Dragapult struggles with offensive Dark-types such as Yveltal and Galarian Moltres, so pairing it with strong Electric-types like Regieleki and Thundurus will help it out greatly.

Thanks to Clear Body, its speed tier, and wide array of coverage, it boasts strong matchups against the likes of Regieleki, Charizard, and Rillaboom. The standout move here is Dive, which allows Dragapult to consistently set rain via Max Geyser for its go to ally, Kyogre. (Maybe Incineroar here?) Dragapult's other two-turn moves have plenty of merit as well, with Phantom Force scoring Defense drops for partners like Kartana and Urshifu-S to abuse while Fly lets it have a reliable Max Airstream for quickly securing the speed advantage. (Personally I would trim this down to mentions of the moves. I feel like "two-turn" is only relevant if we're explaining it wastes dmax, else points are fine) Additionally, Dragon Darts can serve as a clutch spread move or a strong Max Wyrmwind for crippling physical attackers like Groudon and Landorus-T. However, Dragapult struggles with bulky Dark-types such as Yveltal and Galarian Moltres, so pairing it with strong Electric-types like Regieleki and Thundurus will help it out greatly. (The big reason I don't like this is because things like Umbreon and Grimmsnarl still exist, so blanketing Electric types to check the "bulky Darks" only works in these 2 cases imo. It's probably still fine, but Grimmsnarl is notably still the most used Dark).

I gots nothing to remove here, so QC 1/1. Highlighted stuff is mostly just some side thoughts that are worth considering, but things I don't necessarily think need to change.
