[SET COMMENTS]
Kyurem-Black is a marginally used Dragon Dance sweeper that relies on its high attack stat to break through its checks. It distinguishes itself from other physical sweepers thanks to its excellent Ice-STAB and great coverage moves that hit many of the tier's physical walls. Icicle Spear, in combination with Loaded Dice, deals decent chip damage to Landorus-T, Arceus-Fairy, and OHKOes Calyrex-S after a boost. Fusion Bolt hits Ho-Oh and Arceus-Water, dealing significant damage to both after Dragon Dance boosts, although needing to worry about burns. Scale Shot increases Kyurem-Black's Speed while hitting targets like Koraidon and Miraidon. Since Kyurem-Black is quite frail and cannot use Dragon Dance multiple times safely, it frequently relies on Scale Shot to outspeed Choice Scarfers. However, even after two boosts, it cannot outspeed Choice Scarf Calyrex-S. Tera Fire grants Kyurem-Black a burn immunity and resistance to Arceus-Fairy's Judgment, Ho-Oh's Sacred Fire, and Zacian-C's STAB moves. Kyurem-Black is not often used, as its high attack does not make up for its frail defenses, speed, and bad matchups against all of the tier's physical walls.
Kyurem-Black is primarily used on hyperoffense teams. Thus, Pokemon like Swords Dance Koraidon and Arceus benefit from Kyurem-Black, as all three share checks in defensive Arceus formes and Ho-Oh. Kyurem-Black can help deal chip damage to these checks, making it much easier for Koraidon and Arceus to break through and potentially sweep a team. As Kyurem-Black is OHKOed by Arceus-Fairy after minor chip damage, teammates like Zacian-C are frequently used on Kyurem-Black teams, due to its Steel typing and access to Behemoth Blade, making breaking through defensive checks like Arceus-Fairy far easier. Just like Kyurem-Black weakens defensive Arceus formes and Ho-Oh for Koraidon, Koraidon is also able to do the same, chipping defensive checks and making it far easier for Kyurem-Black to break. Kyurem-Black is also threatened by Zacian-C, who can OHKO Kyurem-Black with Behemoth Blade or Play Rough, and resists both of Kyurem-Black's STAB moves, while taking negligible damage from Fusion Bolt.

Kyurem-Black could opt to use Substitute with Tera Fire, baiting Arceus-Fairy to switch in, only to stop status moves with Substitute and negate damage with Tera Fire. However, using Substitute means Kyurem-Black is forced to stop using either Scale Shot or Fusion Bolt. Losing Scale Shot makes it far more difficult for Kyurem-Black to outspeed Choice Scarf Koraidon, needing two Dragon Dance boosts, while losing Fusion Bolt makes it far more difficult for Kyurem-Black to deal with Ho-Oh. Kyurem-Black could also use an Electric Tera type, OHKOing Ho-Oh after a Dragon Dance boost. Yet, Tera Electric does not provide burn immunity, and Kyurem-Black is still 2HKOed by Arceus-Fairy after a small amount of chip damage. Thus, it is not frequently used.

**Arceus-Water**: Arceus-Water can burn Kyurem-Black with Will-O-Wisp, significantly crippling it. Furthermore, Dragon Tail can phaze Kyurem-Black if it chooses to continue setting up after being burnt.
**Choice Scarf Koraidon**: Choice Scarf Koraidon outspeeds Kyurem-Black, even after a Dragon Dance boost, and threatens to OHKO it.
