Hello everyone this is my first time using RMT, so if I'm not doing this correctly, correct me. Let's get to it. I've been experimenting with different pokemon and I've come up with this.
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 128 SDef / 128 Def
Modest Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk
- Hydro Pump
- Thunder
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hidden Power [Grass]
This Rotom-Wash is my bulky special attacker. Rotom's job is to wall powerful water type/ice type moves. Hydro Pump and Thunder have shaky accuracy, but if they hit(they most likely will) they will deal A LOT of damage. Will-O-Wisp is for unsuspecting physical attackers that can potentially deal lots of damage to my team. I chose HP Grass over HP Ice because I found that HP Ice only worked against faster and more powerful pokemon, or ones that could downright OHKO it. It also patches up my gastrodon weakness.
Chomper (Garchomp) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Aqua Tail
- Dragon Claw
Choice banded Garchomp has incredible attack power. I chose a speed-increasing nature over an attack-increasing nature because the ability to outspeed common pokemon, like landorus, thundurus-t, and salamence, was much more crucial than the attack boost. Outrage is for those times that you need the extra power. Aqua tail is for coverage, earthquake is for a reliable STAB move, and dragon claw is also a reliable STAB move(when you don't want to get stuck in outrage)
Mamoswag (Mamoswine) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Stone Edge
- Icicle Spear
Mamoswine and Magnezone have excellent synergy with each other. They also support the dragon-part of my team very well. Ice shard is for reliable priority and sometimes is needed to knock those final HP points off of that pokemon. Earthquake is for reliable ground-type STAB, Stone Edge is for coverage, and Icicle spear is for those annoying gliscor. I also prefer it over icicle crash. The EV spread allows it to outspeed slower pokemon while managing to hit like a tank.
Magnezone @ Air Balloon
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SAtk / 220 Spd / 36 Def
Timid Nature
- Flash Cannon
- Thunder
- Substitute
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Magnezone supports the dragon-part of my team by eliminating unsuspecting steel types, like skarmory or ferrothorn. Flash cannon and thunder are for powerful, reliable STAB moves, and can also be used against bulky ground or rock types. It also makes it a good initial switch-in for ground types. Substitute is to avoid status, and take hits it normally wouldn't be able to. No multi-hit moves can really easily break it's substitute easily anyways. HP fire is for taking out those steel-types that it traps in. The EV spread is to have a little bit of physical bulk, while managing to outspeed most steel-types and hit like a truck.
Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Trick
- Draco Meteor
- Thunder
- Psyshock
Choice scarfed Latios is my scarfed revenge-killer. Other scarfed latios are common in the metagame, so I made mine as fast as possible. It can also outspeed cloyster and venusaur(sometimes). Psyshock is so Latios isn't completely walled by specially defensive walls, and also provides reliable STAB. Trick is to cripple walls, like blissey, or if I want to be able to change moves. Draco Meteor is to dominate enemies with an 140 base power move.
Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 Spd / 72 Atk / 184 Def
Impish Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Stealth Rock
- Substitute
Gliscor is my defensive wall. It can put up stealth rocks, and also stall out the opposition. Earthquake is for STAB. My EV spread is designed so Gliscor can outspeed slower threats, be able to wall physical attacks, and manage to maintain some physical power. Substitute and protect can be used to stall and regain health strategically. It also patches up my fighting type weakness.
