Thought I'd start a dragonball discussion with first some questions

1. which series is your favorite?
(mines dragonball because it was before everything got all yelly and flashbackish and 6 episode beam struggle)

2. which character is your favorite?
(mines roshi because i get a few cheap laughs out of his shennanigans)

3. if you are going to play dbo(dragonball online) which race will you choose, humans, namekians, or majins? (im leanin towards majins)

next i have a few questions about the show which i can never find good answers to

1. what is the ooz that vegeta meditates in?

2. why dont trunks and goten have tails?

3. why are there soo many dead people without bodies(besides saving animators a lot of stress)

4. what happened to launch?

5.saya in sayajin means veggies, and kakorot=carrot vegeta=vegetable and raddits=radish, are there any more character puns?

Hope this stirs up nostalgia for anyone that used to be a diehard dragonballer!
 
woahhh there is a dragonball online?? i have to check that out ive been so into naruto bleach deathnote thing i forgot about my childhood love of dragon ball lol

1 is kinda impossible to know. 2 is a fair question. 3 Kinda irrelevant. 4 Not sure.

5. Each Member of the Briefs family has something to do with underwear, including the last name. Bra, Bulma (which I think is at least derivived from the Japanese word for panties iirc) and Trunks. Also Pan means bread.
 
1) If he's referring to the liquid Vegeta heals himself in, that's not impossible to know. In Episode 74, Goku is put in the stuff after they defeat the Ginyu Force and Vegeta explains that it's artificial Saiyan DNA to accelerate the healing process.

2) How do you know Trunks and Goten didn't have tails at? They were likely removed right at birth. In Gohan's case, Goku and ChiChi (guessing on her, I'm not very knowledgeable on regular Dragonball) had no idea it transformed him so they probably left it be (nobody else knew about him judging by their reactions to the tail and asking about the moon). Knowing what it would happen later in the series, their tails were likely removed before their appearances on the show.

3) They become spirits >_> Goku just 'vanishes' when he dies in the Raditz fight.

4) Tien ditched her for training, she follows him to Koren's tower but couldn't get up, so she gave up. She's shown crying at some bar during the Saiyan fight with a ton of cash; after that she was just left out (I'm guessing the bar scene was just a filler thing, but quite unnessary).

5) Have at thee.
 
Meh, I probably should have locked this earlier. When making a discussion, don't just set out a list of questions. Start the discussion off with something you'd like to discuss. Otherwise people just respond with a answer list and the thread dies.

Just "What is your favourite character" really doesn't do much.
