[OVERVIEW]

* Dragonite's great movepool, well-rounded stats, great ability in Inner Focus that makes it immune to Fake Out and Intimidate from Incineroar, and stellar matchups into threats like Urshifu-R, Rillaboom, and Ogerpon-W makes Dragonite a great Pokemon in Regulation F.

* When holding a Choice Band, Dragonite becomes one of the scariest Pokemon in the metagame for its breaking power. Its best partner, Chien-Pao, supports it with Sword of Ruin and pressures Pokemon that prevent Extreme Speed, such as Indeedee and Flutter Mane. Dragonite and Chien-Pao also are good into Rillaboom and Ogerpon-W, making Dondozo and Tatsugiri, which struggle with these two, great partners as well.

* Flutter Mane is also a great partner, as it breaks through Iron Hands and Gholdengo for Dragonite, while Dragonite is a great switch into Scarf Urshifu-R and Rillaboom.
[SET]
Choice Band (Dragonite) @ Choice Band
Level: 50
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 196 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 4 SpD / 52 Spe
Tera Type: Normal
Adamant Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Aerial Ace / Aqua Jet / Ice Spinner
- Outrage
- Stomping Tantrum

[SET COMMENTS]
* Extreme Speed is a priority move that hits the majority of the metagame for neutral damage, making it ideal to lock into.

* Aerial Ace allows Dragonite to OHKO Pokemon like Urshifu-R, Rillaboom, and Amoongus without having to be lock into Outrage. Aqua Jet is secondary priority and allows it to double up with its partner on Ghost-types like Flutter Mane, and Ice Spinner allows it to remove Indeedee-F's Psychic Terrain while still having coverage for Pokemon like Rillaboom and Amoongus.

* Outrage is used as its Dragon-type STAB move and allows it to OHKO almost the entire metagame.

* Stomping Tantrum gives coverage into Steel-types like Kingambit and Archaludon.

* The Speed EVs allow Dragonite to outspeed Dragapult in Tailwind, with the remaining EVs maximize its Attack and round out its bulk, allowing it to live attacks such as Choice Specs Flutter Mane's Dazzling Gleam

* Normal is used as the Tera type, boosting Dragonite's Extreme Speed to stellar levels of power and removing its weaknesses to common Fairy- and Ice-type moves.

[OVERVIEW]

* Dragonite's great movepool, well rounded stats, great ability in Inner Focus making it immune to Fake Out and Intimidate from Incineroar, and stellar matchups into threats like Urshifu-R, Rillaboom, and Ogerpon-W makes it Dragonite a great Pokemon in Regulation F.

* Combined with a Choice Band, Dragonite becomes one of the most scary scariest Pokemon in the metagame, breaking through the majority of meta. Especially with its best partner, Chien-Pao, which provides it with Sword of Ruin and pressures Pokemon which prevent Extreme Speed, such as Indeedee and Flutter Mane. (Better off as a single bullet point, SoR is a huge reason Dragonite actually bonks stuff.)

* Dragonite's best partners are Chien-Pao, as well as Tailwind users like Whimsicott; Chien-Pao great matchups into Pokemon like Dragapult, Flutter Mane, and Indeedee, all of which can give issues for Dragonite, makes it a stellar partner. Whimsicott's Tailwind allows Dragonite to outspeed Pokemon like the before mentioned Flutter Mane as well as opposing Chien-Pao and Dragapult makes Dragonite much more immediately threatening. (Dragonite isn't usually on TW, better to talk about Flutter Mane and how it can break through Hands and Gholdengo, while Dragonite exists as a great switch into Scarf Urshifu and Rillaboom. Or how it and Chien-Pao can weaken a team for Dondozo Tatsugiri to clean up, you'll want to mention how the two are good into Rillaboom and Ogerpon-W which are poor matchups for Dondozo.)

* Extreme Speed is a strong and is a priority move that hits the majority of the metagame for neutral damage, making it ideal to spam lock into.

* Aerial Ace allows Dragonite to OHKO Pokemon like Urshifu-R, Rillaboom, and Amoongus without having to be locked in Outrage. Aqua Jet is secondary priority and which allows it to double up with its partner on Pokemon Ghost-types like Flutter Mane, and Ice Spinner allows it to hit remove Indeedee-F's Psychic Terrain while still letting it having coverage into Pokemon like Rillaboom and Amoongus, and Whimsicott. (Sorry Whims isn't that good and drops to Tera Normal Espeed :(, Especially when factoring Sword of Ruin.)

* Outrage is used as STAB and allows it to target threats like Raging Bolt and Dragapult OHKO almost the entire unresisted metagame. (Out of the Pokemon with reservations, Rillaboom, Entei, Iron Hands, and Dondozo have a chance to survive Outrage, and with Chien-Pao on the field, only Dondozo and Iron Hands who have a 25% chance to drop, live.

* Stomping Tantrum gives coverage into Steel-types like Kingambit and Archaludon.

* The Speed EVs allow Dragonite to outspeed Dragapult in Tailwind, with the remaining EVs allowing it to hit as strong as possible while still keeping it bulky maximizing its attack and rounding out its bulk, allowing it to live attacks such as Choice Specs Flutter Mane's Dazzling Gleam.
