Dragonite @ Choice Band
Ability: Inner Focus
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def
Adamant Nature
- Outrage
- Extreme Speed
- Stomping Tantrum
- Iron Head / Aerial Ace

Dragonite flies into Doubles OU! Dragonite's main strength is Tera Normal Extreme Speed paired with Chien-Pao's Sword of Ruin, as it can OHKO almost anything that does not resist it. Chien-Pao is Dragonite's main partner, as it can threaten Farigiraf with Throat Chop and remove Psychic Terrain set up by Indeedee while using Chien-Pao's high Speed in tandem with Extreme Speed's priority to attack before almost all of the tier. Outrage is an even stronger option; however, it is inconsistent in which foe it targets and can leave Dragonite vulnerable because it cannot switch. Iron Head is used almost exclusively to OHKO Diancie, an extremely threatening Pokemon against the physically offensive teams that Dragonite fits well onto. Because of Dragonite's high damage output, it wants to be paired with Pokemon that will either allow it to get even more KOs, such as Glimmora and Gouging Fire through entry hazards or Howl, or other offensive Pokemon that can spread damage early-game for Dragonite to clean up or clean up themselves after Dragonite, such as Gholdengo and Landorus.

this reads a little too much like an analysis, i think i would appreciate more specifics in the context of the actual metagame. namely, following the bans of flutter mane and more recently archaludon, pao nite has resurfaced as a dominant archetype in dou again, as much more of the tier is vulnerable to dragonite's extremespeed, and chienpao does well to check some of its other counterplay like farigiraf and gholdengo (with throat chop), ice spinner against psychic terrain, and the 135 speed stat & +2 priority combo hits much harder and faster than most of the tier (yes this is a dragonite spotlight but the chienpao is effectively synonymous with dragonite so i think this type of emphasis is good). conversely the points about stomping tantrum and aerial ace can be dropped as it's relatively easy to infer their purpose

-explicitly mention sword of ruin when first mentioning pao
-when you say that glimmora and gouging fire make it easier for dnite to take KOs, specify what you mean (assuming hazards from glimmora and howl from gouger)

Dragonite flies into Doubles OU! Dragonite's main strength is Tera Normal Extreme Speed when paired with Chien-Pao's Sword of Ruin, as it can OHKO almost anything that does not resist it. Chien-Pao is Dragonite's main partner, (AC) as it can threaten Fargiraf Farigiraf with Throat Chop and remove Psychic Terrain setup set up by Indeedee while using its replace "its" with the Pokemon (Dragonite or Chien-Pao) that you intend to reference here; it is unclear as-is high Speed in tandem with Extreme Speed's priority to attack before almost all of the tier. Outrage gives Dragonite is an even stronger option (RC); (ASC) however, (AC) it is inconsistent in which foe it targets and can leave Dragonite vulnerable while because it cannot switch. Iron Head is used almost entirely exclusively to OHKO Diancie, an extremely threatening Pokemon into against the physically offensive teams that Dragonite fits well onto. Because of Dragonite's high damage output, it wants to be paired with Pokemon that will either allow it to take get even more KOs, such as Glimmora and Gouging Fire through entry hazards or Howl, or other offensive Pokemon that can spread damage in the early game early-game for Dragonite to clean up or clean up themselves after Dragonite has done its damage, such as Gholdengo and Landorus.
