Dragons?

Brief introduction, this team's main goal is to sweep the other person's team with dragons (Latias and Kingdra, mainly Latias) while using Magnezone support to remove the opponent's steels.

So, without further ado:

Metagross @ Occa Berry ** Train Wreck
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Atk / 12 Def / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Stealth Rock

Gets rocks up, which turns a lot of 3hko's in to 2hko's and 2hko's into ohko's, which really helps. Beats a lot of other leads, such as infernape (although it will take quite a bit of damage), and has a priority move, which helps pick off sweepers that are too fast for my team. Can suicide bomb later in the game if it's still alive, which helps take out something problematic to my team.

Magnezone @ Leftovers ** Attraction
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 120 HP / 136 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Magnet Rise
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

Traps those pesky steels which really helps with a Latias sweep. That's mainly all that it's there for really. It gets rid of Bronzong (who walls a bunch of my team), most metagrosses (who are stupid strong and wrecks alot of my team), and slower scizors (should be obvious why this is good).

Latias (F) @ Choice Specs ** Rainbows
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse
- Surf
- Trick

Standard specs latias. Draco meteor destroys everything when your opponent has no steels. Normally comes in on a resist, fires off a draco meteor, and leaves. Enjoys wish support, and sweeps really well with dragon pulse after most of my opponents pokemon have been killed by Kingdra/Magnezone.

Kingdra (M) @ Life Orb ** Breathe
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 16 Spd / 240 SAtk
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Draco Meteor
- Hydro Pump
- Rain Dance
- Waterfall

Kills stuff, mainly stuff latias wants out of they way when she attempts to sweep. So basically, it comes in on a resist (ex. Heatran fire blast), sets up, then kills or damages as much as it can before it's killed/forced out.

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers ** Splash
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Protect
- Surf
- Toxic
- Wish

Wish support, and toxic to stall out other bulky waters. Mainly there to refresh my sweepers. Seems kinda like dead weight, as it doesn't really do anything except for wish, and attempt to toxic stall some things. Could be replaced by something else.

Forretress (M) @ Leftovers ** Karma
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 Def
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Explosion
- Gyro Ball
- Rapid Spin
- Reflect

REALLY REALLY dead weight. Put him on there since most of my pokemon couldn't take a strong physical hit, but he's mostly useless. I've only actually used him in one game, and that was for explosion. Something good to replace this with would be helpful.

Anyways, help, or something.

This team lacks overall power. Forretress' move set is unusual. Most people would run either SR or spikes on him. 'Gross already has SR so giving him spikes would seem ideal. Though like you said he just seems like a filler and usually belongs on a stall team. Vaporeon is another poke you yourself stated as a filler. Kingdra has a really unusual moveset considering that this isn't a rain dance team. Magnezone might manage to get a KO but it will then proceded to usually be KOed without the right support. In general you can't just splash zone onto a team without considering a counter to his weaknesses. He really has only one use because you already have two steels(though the first will usually explode) and without HP [Fire] he won't be able to handle a SD scizor and CB varients usually scout first allowing your opponent to be aware of your zone. Without HP[Ice] he won't be able to handle dragons very well, though he usually isn't the one for the job. Reallying on Latias to sweep may not be the best idea, especially a choice variant. CB Scizor can be found on almost every team and people are starting to run EV spreads with additional EVs in SDef to allow scizor to trap kill Latias with pursuit. Once Latias is gone your team will lack any hard hitters outside of Kingdra who isn't capable of sweeping entire teams due to a limit of 5 turns for the speed and power boost and when factoring in LO, SR, and damage recievd from constant switch-ins, Kingdra won't last too long. Basically, relying on just one pokemon to handle an entire team isn't the best aproach. Try building up a more effective strategy and only use pokeom that will help. GL
