Drop Some Thunder!

A quick side note: In case anyone recognizes the title for my thread, it's a line used by a trainer in Pokemon Stadium 2. I think it's a cool line.

Ok down to business. I tried constructing an Electric themed team and this is my result. Any advice and comments are appreciated.

Ambipom - Timid
Technician - Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAt / 252 Spd
Swift
Nasty Plot
Baton Pass
Thunderbolt

Ambipom is my starter. Boost up stats and pass it to another party member. It's self-explanitory.

Ludicolo - Modest
Swift Swim - Damp Rock
EVs: 152 HP / 252 SAt / 104 Spd
Ice Beam
Rain Dance
Energy Ball
Hydro Pump

Ludicolo is one of the recipients for Ambipom's Baton Pass. The stat boost will be very beneficial to Ludicolo. Rain Dance is important for my party and the speed granted could help provide a sweep.

Raichu - Hasty
Static - Expert Belt
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAt / 252 Spd
Encore
Thunder
Grass Knot
Focus Punch

Raichu is one my favorite Pokemon and serves as my party's mixed attacker. Thunder benefits from Rain Dance and benefits from a Nasty Plot Pass. If Raichu can Encore a harmless move Focus Punch can be used safely.

Lanturn - Modest
Volt Absorb - Lum Berry
EVs: 40 HP / 136 SAt / 252 SDf / 80 Spd
Thunder
Ice Beam
Rain Dance
Hydro Pump

Another one of my favorites, Lanturn makes sure that Thunder isn't used against me. Lum Berry protects a likely Toxic. STAB on two types is a nice bonus. A beneficiary of Nasty Plot isn't too shaby either. Lanturn is my second Rain Dance user in case my Ludicolo is KO'd or can not switch in safely.

Ampharos - Modest
Static - Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 80 SAt / 176 SDf
Toxic
Reflect
Thunder
Hidden Power Ice

Poison spreader and screen support. Thunder benefits from Rain Dance and HP Ice is for those grass types that resist Toxic, Ground types that Ludicolo and Lanturn haven't gotten to yet, and enemy Dragons.

Toxicroak - Jolly
Dry Skin - Life Orb
EVs: 252 At / 6 Df / 252 Spd
X-Scissor
Cross Chop
Earthquake
Swords Dance

My only physical user which I thought was necessary to keep my party from being walled by Blissey. X-Scissor takes out Grass types which are resistant to Electric types, Cross Chop gets STAB and takes out Rock types, Earthquake takes out enemy Electric types, and Swords Dance boosts its power. It also benefits from Rain Dance which compensates the Life Orb recoil.

Just a note, Kingdra is usually a necessaty for all Rain teams and can be used to replace Ampharos. For your Toxicroak, if its Grass types your worried about then why don't you use Poison Jab over X-Scissor so you get Stab.

Oh you're right. Thanks. Ok so instead of Toxicroak:

Heracross - Jolly
Guts - Salac Berry
EVs: 252 At / 6 Df / 252 Spd
Aerial Ace
Mega Horn
Close Combat
Swords Dance

Aerial Ace takes care of those Pinsir and other Heracross. Mega Horn for those Grass Types and Close Combat for the Rock types.
