This is a team i created in the last few weeks after losing about 5-6 battles to the devil aka cm suicune but to my surprise it did well vs most play styles but i still feel that the team is a bit lacklustre and im not 100% sure why the team basically is for a balanced playstyle swamper sets up rocks florges and mandy are the def core espeon is my somewhat wall breaker/revenge killer and helio toxicroak are the late game sweepers

swampert-mega.gif

DoUEvenLift (Swampert-Mega)
Swampertite
Ability: Damp
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
basically swampert was the first poke on the team as i felt he was a good base to build from being only weak to grass and has access to stealth rocks furthermore swampert has a solid attack/def/spc.def stat making it able to take down fire types that mady cant handle like arcanine with wiled charge and stone edge entei with waterfall/EQ or predict an incoming grass type and ice punch
252+ Atk Mega Swampert Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Entei: 456-536 (122.9 - 144.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Entei Flare Blitz vs. 212 HP / 0 Def Mega Swampert: 136-161 (34.5 - 40.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
-1 252+ Atk Mega Swampert Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Arcanine: 320-380 (99.6 - 118.3%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
toxicroak.gif

EvilKermit (Toxicroak)
Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Gunk Shot
- Drain Punch
- Sucker Punch
toxicroak was my pair up with swamper as it covers swmpert weakness to grass types, toxicoak also gives me my only form of priority on this team being sucker punch and can come in to weaker pokes/bulky water type that only run scald and/or toxic that cant damage croak like vaporion, suicune etc too even setup an sd or force a switch
252+ Atk Life Orb Toxicroak Gunk Shot vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Whimsicott: 780-920 (241.4 - 284.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Toxicroak Drain Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Absol: 463-546 (170.8 - 201.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Mega Absol Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Toxicroak: 155-183 (50.4 - 59.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO---i didnt think he would live one tbh

florges.gif

Antheia (Florges)
Leftovers
Ability: Symbiosis
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Protect
- Aromatherapy
florges is my spc.def tank as it can take many hits and recover them with wish or pass the wish to swampert predicting a switch to a poison or fire type as mega swamper lacks any from of recovery. florges is also able to take most psychic hits that would ohko toxicroak and has the ability to hold her own with a powerful stab moonblast as well as being able to remove poison/burn/sleep/paralysis with aromatherapy
252+ SpA Mega Blastoise Scald vs. 252 HP / 24+ SpD Florges: 91-108 (25.2 - 30%) -- 0.1% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery---knowing my luck it would be a 4hko
0 SpA Florges Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Houndoom: 123-145 (42.2 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Mega Houndoom Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 24+ SpD Florges: 128-152 (35.5 - 42.2%) -- 89.7% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

mandibuzz.gif

Mandy (Mandibuzz)
Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roost
- Foul Play
- Toxic
- Defog
many is my def wall and helper to swamper i felt the i had to add something like mandy to help swamper as swamper has to reliable recovery also mandy carries defog with is very usefull to remove spikes and rocks the the likes of tentacruel and other swaperts would lay down mandy also gives me a way to stop mega absol from setting an sd and slaughtering my team
252 Atk Mega Aerodactyl Stone Edge vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mandibuzz: 236-278 (55.7 - 65.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+2 0- Atk Mandibuzz Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Absol: 261-307 (96.3 - 113.2%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
+2 252 Atk Mega Absol Play Rough vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mandibuzz: 304-358 (71.8 - 84.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
espeon.gif

Apollo (Espeon)
Choice Specs
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Dazzling Gleam
- Shadow Ball
- Trick
espeon is on this team as a revenge killer as with 350 movement speed and 359spc.attack+specs it can almost outspeed everything and kill them it also provides an option of tricking away the specs to stop set up sweepers or break a wall
252 SpA Choice Specs Espeon Dazzling Gleam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Hydreigon: 572-676 (176 - 208%) -- guaranteed OHKO---not so impressive but it did the job
252 SpA Choice Specs Espeon Psychic vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Darmanitan: 354-417 (100.8 - 118.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO---yes if darmanitan outspeeds espeon is dead
heliolisk.gif

SunBurn (Heliolisk)
Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Hyper Voice
- Grass Knot
- Thunderbolt
heliolisk is my faster late game sweeper and revenge killer as he outspeeds most pokes in uu and hits extremely hard as well as keeping the momentum with volt switch and has grass knot to deal with any ground types that want to switch on his electric type move, hyper voice is his way to deal with pokes that would resist his main stab thunderbolt.
Suicune Scald vs. Dry Skin Heliolisk: 0-0 (0 - 0%) -- aim for the horn next time
252 SpA Life Orb Heliolisk Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Suicune: 299-354 (74 - 87.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Heliolisk Grass Knot (100 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Swampert: 463-546 (135.7 - 160.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Heliolisk Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Infernape: 250-294 (85.3 - 100.3%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

so thats the team basically 3 powerful attacker 2 tanks and a wall any advice on how to improve the team would be appreciated.

Hey crowsbow23, cool looking team you have here! Overall your team composition looks alright, though there are definitely some set tweaks and a few replacements you can make that will optimize your team, so I'd like to make a few suggestions:
  • Full special defense on Florges is honestly unnecessary in the current metagame. Even with minimal investment, Florges can take on most of the relevant special attackers in the tier (Mega Blastoise, Mega Sceptile, etc), so you're usually better off with physical defense investment. I'd suggest changing your EV spread to 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 Spe with a Bold nature, as this allows you check more pokemon overall. It also vastly improves your matchup versus Heracross, which could otherwise cause your team a lot of trouble.
  • Gyarados is quite threatening towards your team and can potentially sweep at +1 if rocks are up, so I'd suggest replacing Mandibuzz with physically defensive Zapdos. You still retain Defog support with it and have a better stop to one of the most threatening sweepers in the tier. Zapdos also better takes on Crobat, which is a nuisance for a large portion of you team.
  • Between Zapdos and Toxicroak, I feel you have bulky waters covered and don't really require Heliolisk anymore. Given your lack of a 'fast' revenge killer (Specs Espeon being more of a wallbreaker) I'd suggest replacing it with Scarf Hydreigon. Hydreigon is easily one of the best scarfers in the tier with its high special attack, solid coverage, and access to U-turn. Due to its typing and ability, it also checks Krookodile quite well, which can cause your team some trouble if Swampert gets low.
With those changes in mind, I believe you have a pretty solid team. I hope you try out my suggestions! Good luck with everything.

in all honesty the change you made look interesting and i would love to try them out my only concern would be that the team would fall sort on spc.def vs pokes like specs p2 or mega houndoom with sludge bomb(if swamper was low)
