DS Baton Pass Sweep

A team that needs some practice, but comes out on the top most of the time if played correctly.

Aerodactyl (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Bascially Taunt if you predict an Opposing Pokemon like Azelf or Hippowdon to Stealth Rock. And Aerodactyl Resists Hippowdons Sand Sandstorm, not breaking my sash. Taunt also for Status and/ or Start the sweep with setting up Dual Screens or Baton Pass. Earthquake and Stone Edge are the main combo of Aerodactly only resisted by Bronzong which is another common lead, but if I see Bronzong I can just switch to Salamence and get off Intimidate or switch to Gliscor and get a Swords Dance up then baton pass to Lucario. And 394 is pretty hard to beat when it comes to OU. And getting Stealth Rock down quickly so Salamence and Lucario can beat some sash's and KO easier.

Alakazam (M) @ Light Clay
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 HP/216 Spd/40 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Taunt
- Reflect
- Encore
- Light Screen

One of my Dual Screeners. Good type and good speed help Alakazam set-up fast. While Bronzong helps me set-up with Bulkyness. Taunt is to keep Blissey from using Thunder wave then encore blissey into Thunder wave and switch to Gliscor and start up the sweep again. Also Alakazam ussually doesn't stick around very well since its horrible Def with a mediocre SpDef Stat. Another reason I choose Alakazam over Jirachi or Cresselia is because of its ability to use Encore AND Taunt which helps me set-up with Gliscor or switch to Salamence/ Lucario. Light Clay keeps The Dual Screens up pretty well too with the extra turn bonus. Also the EV spread makes it Partly Bulky and outspeeds non-scarf Azelf by 2.

Bronzong.png

Bronzong @ Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/60 Def/196 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Hypnosis
- Explosion

My slow Bulky Dual Screener. Levitate makes Bronzong only have 1 weakness; Fire. Light Screen easily takes care of a Fire Blast while Reflect keeps a Fire Punch away. Hypnosis is after you use Both Screens or Bronzong is gonna get KO'd then Explosion makes them take damage, also letting you switch in Gliscor to start the Baton Pass.

gliscor.png

Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 252 HP/60 Spd/196 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Rock Polish
- Baton Pass
- Taunt
- Swords Dance

I've been talking a lot about Gliscor, but here it is, Pure Baton Pass. Salamence is for Pokemon like Heatran who use fire moves to kill Lucario. Salamence is my main "SubTran" Counter here since most don't carry HP Ice or Dragon Pulse if there a SubTran. Taunt helps against some common switch in's like Skarmory, Celebi and Hippowdon to not roar or Perish Song me, then letting me get about 2 Swords Dance's and 1 Rock Polish then Baton Passing to Lucario or Salamence.

Salamence.png

Salamence (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 200 Atk/252 Spd/56 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake

Salamence probably one of the Early Game sweepers if you don't use him as a last resort. With +2 Spee/ Attack Salamence is gonna do some damage. Fire Blast is for Skarmory and Bronzong. Also Dragon + Fire + Ground combo provides neutral damage on every Pokemon in the OU tier. Outrage isn't here because then if I outrage then there gonna switch to some wall like Skarmory (which is 2hko) and Roar/Whirlwind me. Lum Berry is to avoid on comming status from Rotom and other pokemon with Thunder Wave, Toxic or Wilo Wisp. And with Stealth Rock and Life Orb Salamence has barely any time to sweep with Scizor and Metagross around.

Lucario.png

Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
- Extremespeed
- Crunch

Lucario one of the best Late-Game Sweepers in todays Meta Game. With having one of the strongest STAB Moves, Close Combat it will have a very likely chance to sweep in late game. Swords Dance is for if I only got a Rock Polish off from Gliscor. Extreme speed is for speed that is needed against Salamence (Which is most of the time KO'd by Extreme Speed if it's not bulky and is taking damage by Stealth Rock.) and with it's awesome type with Dual Screens up it posses a really big threat. Crunch is for Cresselia that is OHKO'd by Crunch with +4. Also not many pokemon resist Normal + Fighting + Dark Combo since Dark hits Gengar and other Ghost types pretty hard. But with Life Orb it doesn't stay around long, but I still have enough turns to sweep.
