Ignore the GXE, I was testing other stuff

2. Teambuilding Thoughts/Process

:sv/Metagross:
I looked at the VR, and decided that I wanted to use Metagross. Well, first it started with the argument that Regidrago really restricts teambuilding, and I wanted to avoid that restriction. So, I chose Metagross to take in Dragon-type attacks as well as Earth Power thanks to Assault Vest. Metagross is also really strong.

:sv/metagross: :sv/iron valiant:
I decided to fulfill a fantasy core, so I decided upon Iron Valiant as my Fairy-type. This gives a special attacker to the team, while scaring away Dark-types and Ursaluna from Metagross. Not much to note here.

Added the last member being a Dragon-type, and I just realized at that moment; Psychic-Fighting-Dark is another core! So yeah, that was just a added bonus and inspired the name of the team.
3. Team

Here's the paste: https://pokepast.es/bef1f490d5244d59

Here's some explanation:

Metagross @ Assault Vest
Ability: Clear Body
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 108 Atk / 116 Def / 32 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake
- Psychic Fangs
Standard Assault Vest Metagross. Heavy Slam and Psychic Fangs are great for double STAB, while Bullet Punch can stop Custap Berry shenanigans, as well as stuff like Focus Sash / Endure Reversal strategies. EVs make this beast bulky and strong, while Earthquake hits opposing Steel-types.

Iron Valiant @ Choice Specs
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 HP / 220 SpA / 32 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Psyshock
Another standard set, this time being Choice Specs. Moonblast is just really strong, but Focus Blast can be very unreliable. Thunderbolt hits stuff like Corviknight, which is a big struggle for the team. Psyshock hits Poison-types that easily wall you out, notably nuking Okidogi. The special defense survives Raging Bolt's Thunderclap, so you can safely OHKO non-AV variants.

Roaring Moon @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 20 HP / 220 Atk / 12 Def / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- Substitute / Knock Off
- Outrage
- Dragon Dance
I would like to note that these EVs were just optimized for Speed booster and don't do anything in specific. Anyways, the whole set is pretty normal, with Outrage being the preferred Dragon-type STAB since it often OHKOs things. Substitute can definitely be coverage instead, although I chose Substitute to call out set up moves and stop Leech Seed from Serperior, though Knock Off should be there lmao.

4. Weaknesses

:sv/Corviknight:
My only real way to damage it is Iron Valiant's Thunderbolt, but I get destroyed by Expert Belt variants, so yeah.

:sv/landorus-therian:
Just really scary, although winnable. Metagross does fine into it as well as the rest, but it is really annoying at times.

Trying to get in Sylveon but yeah that worked too.
