We tried as much as we could we couldnt successfully have both it would be cool for custom formats to be able to do a fight where marnie (galar) gigantamax her grimsnarl in front of iono (pladea) tera electric fluttermane! (Just an example) u could make it that u can pick either but can only pick one within the battle idk how hard it would be to actually implement but as of rn there’s physically no way (unless proven otherwise) to do this which would be a cool features for the custom formats enjoyer such as myself that run a pokemon rp using showdown as the battle system with a small group of friends
