Hi my name is Ewin and this is my first time posting a Rmt! I’ve been a active ladder player since mid SM and a active builder too.Now about the team, after the recent Dynamax ban I thought that stall might be able to thrive with power creep going down and the fact that Ditto won’t be a mandatory slot on stall, essentially freeing up a slot for something more useful, so I decided to first ladder with a stall that PlayerW17 built and passed to me (which he will also most likely rmt) and get a good feel of the play style, before I attempted to build the monstrosity that is double duggy stall, and this is the result!
The Team
Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Ability: Arena Trap
Happiness: 160

So we all know what Dugtrio does, trap things. Some of its main targets are usually choice band Darm, toxtricity, Dracovish/zolt, toxapex, and opposing Dugtrio to name a few. Other than that Dugtrio gives the team a valuable electric immunity along side diglett and gives the team priority in sucker pinch which can always come in handy in a pinch.The moves are also pretty standard, as the case with the item.Not much to say here just trap shit.
Diglett @ Focus Sash

So the star of the team diglett! This mon is pretty much a meme but a decent meme to say the least.The point of Diglett is basically trap something screech them and maybe eq then revenge with Dugtrio, but other than that Diglett can actually trap some things that Dugtrio would also (Darm,toxtricity,Exca,etc) which is nice since your main trapper doesn’t have to sacrifice its sash, allowing you to maybe trap another important Pokémon.Again not much to say just trap shit and screech.
Tyranitar @ Assault Vest

This is a pretty cool Pokémon and a nice glue mon.Av ttar essentially gives you a Specs dragapult,hydrei,lo clef and hatterene counter, being able to eat hits quite easily and ohkoing back with heavy slam/avalanch(ava becomes 120 bp if you take damage on that turn).Rock blast is chosen over rock slide to break Substitutes from Togekiss and Hydrei and then ohko with Avalanche.The spread can probably be optimized to suit the team better but I’m lazy lol.
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Wish
- Protect
- Haze
Vaporeon is your main Darmanitan/Dracovish answer. It also helps a lot vs other threats such a as dd Dragapult and haze is always nice as a utility move.Other than that Vaporeon also acts as ttars recovery with wish since ttar can be chipped down quite easily with rocks (if they ever go up) + constant chip from hydrei/clef/hatt. Water absorb is also nice vs rain being able to eat hits easily n spread burns.
Toxapex @ Shed Shell
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Def
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Toxic
- Toxic spikes
- Recover
Toxapex acts as your second special wall, being a glue mon as well as the main Aegislash counter on the team being able to stomach sballs easily.Toxic spikes is a given considering you have 2 Dugtrios to trap pex/toxtricity and toxic to chip away at your opponents team.Not much to say here just a fat ass mon.
Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 236 SpD / 20 Spe
Careful Nature

The spread which I’ve posted here isn’t the actual spread as I wasn’t given permission to post it here but please do add some Defense to the spread If u use it.Corv acts as your only form of hazard control.To maximize hazard controlling potential it’s taunt w/fog to block stealth rocks from basically every viable rocker. Corviknight also gives you another aegi check in case toxapex gets haxed down.Body press is only here to ohko things like ttar and goon while also doing a lot of damage to Exca.
Threat List
RotomH/Hatt/Hydrei + Dugtrio
This core basically makes your main Rotom heat answer dead weight and once ttar is gone overheat can proceed to np and click buttons.(same for hatt n hydrei)
Lo Reuniclus
Not much to say here has the perfect coverage for this team, but can still be trapped by duggy duggy but this usually means giving up both sashes unless you play smart
Swords Dance Aegislash
It clicks sd then clicks buttons, pretty much no counter play
CLOSING STATEMENTS
In all honesty this is a meme team and isn’t supposed to be competitive at all and it wasn’t the only team I used while laddering (I used PlayerW17s stall which he passed me and will probs rmt too).I still hope you like the team and s/o Terrakion for encouraging me to ladder and be the first person to break 2000!
