1) The opening:

If you prepare yourself for common openings, you always feel happy, if you see a sucide lead on your opponents team. :-)

Pokemon	Arceus, Lunala, Sableeye	Arceus, Sableeye, Giratina
Moves	Safeguard, Magic Coat, Extremespeed + Defog,	Magic Coat, Extremespeed/Sneak + Defog,
Items	Lum Berry	Mental Herb

2) The Art of gaining Momentum

The concept of momentum is pretty easy. It is like rock paper scissors.

Move	Counterplay
Attack	Defensive Pokemon with Recover/Rest/Regenerator/Oblivion-Wing
Status Move	Pokemon Type, Lum Berry, Magic Coat
Set up	Focus Sash Users, Screens, Will-o-wisp, Ditto

But there are near indefinite combinations of pokemon and attacks your opponent could have.
I like to show how to prepare for some of the most common.

2.1) Pokemon Types

Using certain pokemon types can help to give you more counterplays to common moves. I recommend having atleast 1 pokemon of the following types,:

Type	Threat
Steel/Poison for Toxic, Ground for Twave	Status Move
Flying Type	Earthquake / P-Blades
