Edge Of The Earth(Peaked 1800)

Ladies and gentlemen,as I promised here's a new RMT.
Listen to this song while you read this. ;)

Well ladies and gentleman, here's a new team I built about a few weeks ago,it got me to 1800 in the Pokemon Showdown ladder.Hope you guys like it and if you have suggestions just let me know in the reply section below. Here's the team I built for this cycle.Hope you enjoy!

The Flash (Mienfoo) (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Regenerator
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Atk / 196 SDef / 76 Def
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Mienfoo is by far one of the best,if not the best, one of the most viable pokemon in the LC Tier,I was kind of deciding between Scraggy or Mienfoo,I decided on Mienfoo, the set I run is Fake Out to flinch the oppo and deal some decent damage,Drain Punch because I personally dislike Hi Jump Kick 'cause its a double-edged sword,Knock Off to get rid of those annoying Eviolites and U-Turn to gain momentum.

Mienfoo has a lot of niches in LC,it can check Scraggy,Pawniard,Lileep, etc. So I decided to use him instead of Scraggy, also this is Part #1 of my Regenerator core.

Deathstroke (Drilbur) (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Mold Breaker
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Atk / 236 SDef / 36 Def
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

Drilbur doesn't necessarily need Sand to be effective unlike Sandshrew,Drilbur is the spinner of this team because spinning rocks away and setting them up.Normally Staryu is a better choice for a spinner,Staryu can't set up rocks like Drilbur does. And Drilbur has nice synergy with the team. Its a bulky drilbur set I made, pretty standard.Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin support,Earthquake to hit stuff like levitators mainly Misdreavus.Because Misdreavus is an issue to any team and Mold Breaker negates it totally.Rock Slide to hit Larvesta and flyers for SE Damage.

Ares (Murkrow) (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Insomnia
Level: 5
EVs: 188 Spd / 236 Atk / 84 SAtk
Hasty Nature
- Brave Bird
- Heat Wave
- Sucker Punch
- Hidden Power [Ground]

Murkrow is in my opinion, the best Pokemon in Little Cup,it has high offenses, speed and a very versatile movepool so it can do loads of things. The set Im using is a MixKrow set which is very effective,The set is Brave Bird and Sucker Punch for dual STAB and hard or damage,Heat Wave to check Ferroseed and Pokes that are weak to it,and Hidden Power Ground to catch Magnemites off guard.'Cause people normally expect parafusion Murkrow or SubRoost, its a bit of a surprise factor.

Murkrow should definitely be considered on any team in my opinion if you want an extra offensive poke or an annoyer.

AquaMan (Chinchou) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Volt Absorb
Level: 5
EVs: 220 Spd / 232 SAtk / 56 SDef
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Grass]

Normally you guys would think,Im an idiot, why are you runnin scarf on a Chinchou?
Well,Chinchou is not too bad with a Choice Scarf since it gets Volt Switch to do VoltTurn with Mienfoo, the set is surf because hydro pump misses and I don't like that,Ice Beam to prevent being walled by Lileep, and HP Grass to hit opposing Chinchou or the rare Wooper for SE damage.Like Murkrow,Chinchou also gives a bit of a surprise factor, people assume its a cleric set but nope its a scarf set. This set was given to me by Dcae,so props to him on that!

Lex Luthor (Foongus) @ Eviolite
Trait: Regenerator
Level: 5
EVs: 236 SDef / 236 Def / 36 HP
Bold Nature
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Clear Smog
- Stun Spore
Ladies and gentleman, this thing is just as annoying as its evolution, since the Poke up next is my Physical Wall, this thing gets access to Spore,Regenerator,Stun Spore,What else do you need for a Wall in LC?Eviolite. This thing has decent defenses in LC and not shabby offensive presence either. The set I use is Spore to put stuff to sleep,Giga Drain to gain HP while dealing damage,Clear Smog to remove any stat changes, and Stun Spore to paralyze and cripple sweepers that threaten the teamThis guy is Regenerator Core #2

79.png

Solomon G. (Slowpoke) @ Eviolite
Trait: Regenerator
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Def / 196 SDef / 76 SAtk
Impish Nature
- Slack Off
- Scald
- Thunder Wave
- Psyshock

Slowpoke is underrated in my opinion, this guy is one of the best Physical Walls in all of LC,I personally think its underrated I dunno why.Its a great defensive poke. The set Im using is Scald to get the crucial burns,Psyshock to deal with Special Walls like Foongus,Slack Off for reliable recovery and T-Wave to cripple crucial stuff like Sweepers

So yeah guys, that's the team I built for this 2-week cycle.Hope you guys liked it! Until next time

:D

Importable ;)

I don't know too much about little cup, but I'm pretty sure Scald and Psychic/Psyshock are superior on Slowpoke over Aqua Tail and Zen Headbutt, despite it's lower Special attack, due to Scald's burn chance and the fact that Psychic/Psyshock works off Slowpoke's invested Special Attack.

After doin testing it has done quite well. Thanks 4 the rate my friend :D

i am not very sure how do you deal with misdreavus. murkrow also murders you easily. i dont really see why you need slowpoke; you have foongus to take on mienfoo and drilbur. speaking of foongus, please change its evs to the much more efficient 124 HP / 156 Def / 76 SpA / 76 SpD / 76 Spe and use sludge bomb > clear smog for consistent damage on OHKO on snover most of the time.

i think you should use porygon instead of slowpoke to patch up your weaknesses to misdreavus and murkrow. the standard set of recover/twave/tri attack/shadow ball @eviolite 236 HP / 196 Def / 76 SpD, calm should work nicely. you lose a fight resist but with foo, scarf chou, murkrow, and foongus they won't have much time to breath. good luck!! :toast:

Furai said what i was gonna suggest, but i would run HP Grass on Murkrow. Tirtouga is a little bitch to you, and you want as least set up opportunities as possible. Magnemite is easily taken care of by heat wave (ohko usually) and bulky sets are slow af. Even if a scarfmag somehow survives, you have chichou to hardwall it.
