Effective lures in OU

I will post and explain how to use some good lures, and with what teammates. Some ideas i have atm are:
  • SD + Natural Gift Talonflame
  • Wacan Berry TG Manaphy
  • Magma Storm + Power Herb + Solarbeam + Taunt Heatran
  • Shuca Berry + Icy Wind Jirachi
I am definitely looking for more ideas, but i am sure we will be able to find some more.
 
Sorry about not replying sooner, but yeah this seems like a very solid idea. I think all the sets you've mentioned are effective enough to be worth a mention, but I wouldn't hype up Manaphy too much I were you (just my opinion, though, you're good enough to make that call yourself). I suggest talking
about Chople, Shuca, and Rindo berry Talonflame, as I believe all 3 are effetive enough to be worth a mention.

In terms of other effective lures, I can't think of too many off the top of my head. There is mixed Mega Garchomp, which can bait in Skarmory, Landorus-T, etc. and hit them with a Draco Meteor / Fire Blast, which is pretty helpful for things like Sand Rush Excadrill. There's Wacan Berry Keldeo, I suppose, aswell as Ibeam / Fblast Ttar, which I suppose you could say is more effective than it used to be considering the decline in Ice Punch Ttar usage. Sorry I couldn't come up with more, but yeah, approved :)
 
You have both irrelevant and relevant things listed, here's what I would mention.
  • HP Ground Mega Gardevoir and Earthquake Latios as Heatran lures, to benefit Talonflame, and help them spam their own STABs.
  • Jolly Natural Gift Talon as Tyranitar and Rotom-W lures, to take care of it's own counters, as well as Mega Pinsir's
  • Whirlpool Perish Song Azumarill, to lure bulky grass and waters
  • Taunt Magma Storm Heatran to bait/wear down Chansey or other stallmons for your sweepers to clean
  • Knock Off Landorus-I can lure a couple things, like Lati@s and Chansey
At the very least, article approved. There's a lot of lures that can work, but that's off the top of my head. HP Elec Keldeo works for Gyara to an extent, HP Flying for Venu, Extra Greninja for Venu, but these lures have simply turned into standard sets now. Maybe that makes them the most worth mentioning? Not sure. Wacan Manaphy is ass, don't mention it, same with Jirachi. Just bad offensive options in this meta.
