~ INTRODUCTION ~
It has been a while since I last posted my RMT which received a lot of good comments and advices. I have been on a constant streak of consecutive hiatus due to real life stuff, but during this summer I do try to return back and peak nicely in the laddering.

This shall be the last RMT for this ORAS metagame. Regardless, this is one of my best team at the moment and I am really glad of the record I made in such a short period of time.

And also, pardon me for all the Dota 2 images, since I'm a big fan and this team is inspired from separate heroes of the game. Beside, since this team is HO it fits the name nicely LOL.

~ DETAIL ~

Nature%27s_Prophet.png

Furion (Breloom) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Mach Punch
- Rock Tomb
- Bullet Seed

Classic Breloom set and one of my choice of lead in certain situation. Breloom is pretty underrated in the current meta but the ability to decimate the opponent's team early game is strong. Plus, it is a decent answer to the rare Rain team that happens to appear once in a while. A Sash can be a surprise game-changing factor depending on when Breloom can be sent out of the field.
  • Spore is so good that it should not be left unnoticed. The ability to outright render non-Grass Pokemon useless for a while is strong, and there is only a few safe switch in to handle Breloom well enough.
  • Mach Punch to synergize with the ability, plus STAB Priority is always good to have in a pinch. Nice way to clean up late game if Breloom is still alive.
  • Rock Tomb punishes most HO switch-in hard, especially the omnipresent Talonflame and the rarer Charizard variant. Apart from that there is not much to talk about.
  • Bullet Seed ties strongly to the RNG, as it can change the tide of the match depending on the number of procs. Still a very good STAB to clean up slower team.

Tidehunter.png

Tidehunter (Garchomp) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Swords Dance

Garchomp is here as my Stealth Rocker-plus-Sweeper early on that can punish the opponent team hard in early to mid game, depending on whether I lead with it or not. The current set works great as a stallbreaker, and with its mid-tier Speed it is okay to let it rampage through enemy's team sometimes.
  • Stealth Rock is standard and main purpose of Garchomp here. Having hazard in HO team is great in punishing every switch-in, and the meta of birds is still decently strong so SR is a must-have.
  • Swords Dance works well if Garchomp carries a Lum Berry, since it can just decimate the opponent's team fast enough, ignoring the Burn from WoW once, namely Sableye-M and Rotom-W. Regardless, it makes Garchomp becomes dangerous if left unchecked.
  • Earthquake is STAB and is powerful against most Pokemons that are not resisted to it which is plenty.
  • Outrage is another STAB that outright tear opponent team fast unless they have some Fairy. Even so, this pressurizes enemy early on and it syncs well with Lum Berry to cure confusion if by chance Garchomp is not targetted by any statuses.

Templar_Assassin.png

Lanaya (Diancie) @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Protect
- Earth Power
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm

I have so many lead options in this team that it is kind of flexible in different situation. Diancie is a more common lead in this team since having its Mega form early on is great. Plus, its power as stallbreaker and sweeper is very strong with its high speed and strong STABs to come with. Not only so, it syncs well with the rest of the team.
  • Protect is a standard scouting move that allows Diancie to Mega Evolve safely. It also plays as a mind game against stuff like Lopunny-M.
  • Earth Power is a good coverage move that is good against stuffs like Heatran that can wall the rest of the movesets.
  • Moonblast is a powerful STAB that can be spammed as it hits non-resisted Pokemon hardly, most of the time 2HKO since that's how powerful Diancie-M is.
  • Diamond Storm is also a powerful STAB, and can be used effectively to shoot down all the birds. The DEF chance is also nice to have sometimes.

Tinker.png

Tinker (Magnezone) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch

I realized my team forces a lot of Steel switch-in, and it can hurt my team somewhat in late game potential so having a Magnezone is always safe. It surprisingly does it job well in many surprise switch-in, good typing to take some hits and good momentum maker too.
  • Hidden Power [Fire] while not as powerful as before the nerf is still a must-have to kill Ferrothorn as fast as possible as well as OHKO most Scizor variant.
  • Thunderbolt is a powerful STAB that can safely spam unless opponent has Landorus-T which is common. Otherwise a great clean-up lategame since it is Scarfed. It also slays many birds, mostly Skarmory.
  • Flash Cannon is also a good STAB that can still hit hardly to Landorus-T switch-in. Also a good Fairy counter unless I screw up and leave that Clefable set up too much (shouldn't be a problem since I still have Breloom, but still)
  • Volt Switch is a momentum STAB that controls the flow of the game nicely. Having a momentum in a HO team is always nice.

Luna.png

Luna (Latios) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Trick
- Defog

"But... two Choice Scarf? You must be noobs", "Defog Scarf? Noob plz". While I agree it is unconventional it doesn't mean it fails to do its job. In fact, I really love how versatile this Latios can be. Against HO, it is a good revenge killer. Against Stall, it is a good punisher with Trick. It does it jobs well as a Defogger, but sometimes it doesn't need to if you play it well enough with Diancie-M.

  • Trick brings up many surprise play that can suddenly change the way the match is going on instantly, as for Stall it is a dead lock to one of the cores, same goes for Balance team. It also helps shutting down setup such as Clefable.
  • Defog is a safe option if I fail to keep my side of the field clean of hazards that can hurt badly to other members, namely Breloom (since Sash) and Talonflame (x4 damage). A scarfed Defog can be still lethal in some situation, but rarely.
  • Draco Meteor is a very good STAB nuke that just outright slaps in the face of most switch-ins. A somewhat safe choice to revenge kill.
  • Psyshock is a decent STAB that hits strong against most Special Def wall in the metagame, and a good Fighting-killer since there are still many Fighting-type Pokemon in the tier like Keldeo.

Phoenix.png

Phoenix (Talonflame) @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Roost
- Swords Dance

"Scree kaw kaw I'm a bird". The team's late sweeper that can outright clean up everything weakened. Talonflame syncs very well with the rest of the team, and if all of the counters are handled, it is an easy gg for me. No wonder Talonflame is super overused in so many teams.
  • Brave Bird is just a nuke STAB that kills instantly and swiftly along with Talonflame's Ability, making it one of the strongest priority in the game.
  • Flare Blitz is also a nuke STAB, and while it does not get the benefit of Gale Wings, it still hurts badly to most thing especially Steel Pokemon that usually can't do anything to it. Plus, Talonflame's already high-tier speed makes this a good way to kill Raikou with current EVs spread.
  • Roost is a self-sustaining method for Talonflame after a few bruises and can effectively make Talonflame last longer in the whole match. Plus, this is a priority healing move.
  • Swords Dance is a way for Talonflame to set up and sweep. After setting up, Talonflame is just hitting hard like a truck and can just decimate through other's team if left unchecked.

~ CONCLUSION ~
Anddddddddd that's it. This is the last team of ORAS metagame for me. It has been fun playing with it and peaking in the ladder. The team is pretty solid in my eyes, but it is by no means perfect and I always welcome every suggestion and advice to help me improving on my team.

Who knows, maybe I can revamp this team to adapt to the new metagame just like what I did to most of my previous team.

Hello Beastly Grant
.......

Really solid and unique team you have here Grant. The biggest problem with this team, is its match up against Stall. There isn't really much you can do without changing the make up of your team, but there is a small change you can make, that can help your match up a ton. I think you should change your Diancie spread to a spread of 252 Atk | 4 Spa | 252 Spe. This spread allows you to get a 2hko on Chansey after a bit of prior damage. 252 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 253-298 (39.4 - 46.4%) -- 30.5% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock. You could also just trick chansey, making it even easier to 2hko, but if you end up wasting your trick on latios on something else, then you still have a way to deal with stall. It can also 2hko Clefable which is another huge threat to your team. 252 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 252 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 201-237 (51 - 60.1%) -- 88.3% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery. I would also run Max Speed on Talonflame, as Weavile could be a huge ass threat, and winning speed ties with other Talonflames could be helpful.
.......
Cool team dude. I hope I helped :toast:

Cool team dude, I'm a huge fan of Diancie + Breloom teams and had success using a team like this but with Volcarona > Talonflame. If you're worried about the mu vs stall you can try this out, but Talon is perfectly fine; I would even use the SpDef variant just bc it punishes a bunch of passive mons and you still have SD alongside either Wisp/Taunt to clean up late game. I also recommend running max attack Diancie like Scotti said to help vs Clef and Chansey (mostly Clef, you'll see that more than stall). Lastly, why are you opting for ScarfZone > SpecsZone in this build? With Scarf Lati, offensive Chomp, Diancie + double priority I'm not sure what ScarfZone offers as you don't even outspeed Torn/Weavile which can trouble the team a bit, so I would def run SpecsZone here. That's it dude so gl :afrostar:
