[SET COMMENTS]
Leveraging its excellent typing, respectable bulk, and access to both Stealth Rock and Spikes, Whiscash is one of the tier's premier entry hazard setters. While Stealth Rock is preferred if the team's sole entry hazard setter is Whiscash, Spikes can be used to hit Stealth Rock resists like Sandslash, Magneton and Orthworm harder, and Whiscash can run both Stealth Rock and Spikes on the same set if needed. Surf is the preferred STAB over Hydro Pump for consistency. Whiscash's final move slot can be either Ice Beam or Stone Edge; Ice Beam lets it hit Arboliva, Whimsicott and Virizion hard, which would usually resist Whiscash's STAB attacks. Stone Edge can be ran over Ice Beam to hit Cryogonal hard, which would shake off Ice Beam and Surf due to it's excellent special defense. Heavy-Duty Boots allows it to reliably have a better matchup against it's main task with removing entry hazards, while Leftovers provides more longevity and makes it have a better time at dealing with Salt Cure Naclstack. Whiscash can choose to run either a physically defensive EV spread or a specially defensive one; The aforementioned physically defensive EV spread gives Whiscash a more reliable way to check the aforementioned physical attackers, while the specially defensive one allows Whiscash to check other special attackers such as Jolteon, Spiritomb, Typhlosion and Charizard. With Tera Ghost, it lets it blank Close Combat from Lycanroc, Glastrier and Hitmontop while blocking Mach Punch. Tera Poison flips it's Grass weakness in exchange for weaknesses to Ground and Psychic, while still keeping a solid defensive typing.
Whiscash fits on a myriad of teams that are looking to have a entry hazard setter that has both Stealth Rock and Spikes. Setup Sweepers such as Jolteon, Sandslash and Sneasel appreciate Whiscash's ability to reliably dent entry hazard weak Pokemon for them to grasp KOs easier so they can have a better time at sweeping. Whiscash appreciates teammates like Charizard, Toxicroak, and Typhlosion, as they can handle Grass-types such as Whimsicott, Arboliva and Venusaur. Whiscash also appreciates Knock Off users such as Mesprit and Sableye which complements it's entry hazards by removing Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokémon such as Drifblim and Charizard, allowing them to be worn down more easily. Whiscash makes for excellent partners for Pokémon vulnerable to Poison-types and Fire-types, such as Whimsicott, Arboliva, Magneton and Glastrier.

Other Options
=============
Whiscash has no other viable options.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Grass-types and Grass-type coverage**: Foes like Arboliva, Virizion and Whimsicott completely wall both of Whiscash's STAB attacks and threaten it back with STAB. However, these Grass-types should be wary of Ice Beam on switch-in. Pokémon with Grass-type coverage like Energy Ball Vikavolt are typically able to KO Whiscash even from full health, either forcing it to switch out or terastallize.
**Faster Revenge Killers**: Faster attackers such as Sneasel and Basculin can easily outspeed Whiscash due to it's base 60 speed stat, either KOing it or leaving it weakened for the rest of the match. However, Stone Edge can hurt Sneasel hard on the switch-in.
**Taunt**: Taunt completely shuts down Whiscash's attempts at setting up entry hazards.
