Moves
========

  • Psychic is Espeon's primary STAB attack, letting it deal with top tier threats like Virizion, Bewear, and Roserade
  • Shadow Ball lets Espeon deal with Ghost- and opposing Psychic-types, such as Bronzong, Gardevoir, and Cresselia.
  • Dazzling Gleam can break past Dark-types like Mandibuzz and Pangoro, which would otherwise wall Espeon.
  • Trick can greatly hinder bulkier foes that Espeon struggles to get past, such as Snorlax, Porygon2, and Registeel
  • Hidden Power Fire can be used to nail Escavalier as well as dealing decent damage to other Steel-types.
Set Details
========

  • Maximal Special Attack and Speed investment in tandem with a Timid nature ensures that Espeon will hit as hard as possible and be as fast as possible to outrun threats like Virizion.
  • Magic Bounce enables Espeon to deflect back entry hazards and status.
