Hi, guys, I'm back, To make a long story short, I really enjoyed playing VGC and love doubles and got sick of bans, but don't like Ubers either, so it's a bless to play VGC. With that said, I had kind of a success in the BW doubles with the ever present Trick Room, so I decided to create a team around it, but not so dependant, for VGC 14. I have a tourney to play on the 25th of this month, so I'm trying to get it right asap.
I've played around 10 battles with it on PS, and I had more losses than wins, but I still think it's more my fault than the team's fault per se, but I probably would use some help.
If you're interested in seeing it in action, I saved one win and two losses.:

The theme of the team is the Celtic Gods. Since I'm a Pagan Universalist, I was thinking of using gods as names, in order to make them better known. That's why I decided to stick with Celtic. I'm not that into Celtic Paganism, but I like some of them and they have nice names and are less known, so the names would be original, instead of some Greek/Roman/Hindu names that I've already seen plenty. I was in doubt between Orishas from África and these ones, but at least for now, I like these.
So, let's see the team?

Danu (Kangaskhan) (F) @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Facade
- Power-Up Punch
- Sucker Punch
Danu is the Mother of all Gods, and I thought it was a fitting name for the best mom of Pokémon World. I think it's pretty standard,
considering I want her as my Physical Sweeper. Sometimes I don`t even put her in battles, the mere fact that she`s there is enough to help.
I chose Facade over Return because of WoW everywhere. The ability is Scrappy, so it can fake out ghosts while I set up TR.

Amaethon (Amoonguss) (M) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 116 HP / 212 Def / 180 SDef
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Rage Powder
- Protect
- Spore
- Giga Drain
Amaethon is the Welsh God of Agriculture, and since my idea is to fill the field with Powder and Spore, I found it quite fitting.
I stole Toquill`s Amoongus, since it seems to work really well. And it did. The SDef spread is awesome. I survived at least three times with 1 or 2% after a particularly strong Blizzard and was able to Spore (if not under Trick Room) or to switch (if it happened in the Setting turn).

Sirona (Aromatisse) (F) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Aroma Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 72 SDef / 180 Def
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Moonblast
- Protect
- Trick Room
- Aromatherapy
Sirona is the Celtic Goddess of Healing, and as this is my cleric, the connection was obvious.
The EV spread was again stolen, this time from Xeno`s UK Winter and it worked really well. Sometimes I think people are afraid of using these custom EV spreads, but they`re really well taught and work well. She is my Trick Room setter, when I think TR can give me an edge, and also TR canceller, if I think it could be a problem. With that said, she`s in my team 90% of time.
I chose Aromatherapy over Misty Terrain because I don`t like the fact that my opponent gets help.

Ankou (Garchomp) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Protect
Ankou is the God of Death and that`s whay I want for my opponents. I chose Focus Sash because I don`t have many berries, but I`m leaning towards using the Berry that reduces Ice damage (can`t remember its name now), or Rocky Helmet, to switch into Mega Kangs.
I`m in huge doubt between Dragon Claw and Dual Chop, since the latter breaks sashes, and the rest is Pretty Standard.
I chose Jolly instead of Adamant because that way I can outspeed other non-scarfed Chomps.

Dis Pater (Talonflame) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Tailwind
- Quick Guard
Dis Pater is the God of the Underworld, and this is a Pokémon that couldn`t care less about dying, as soon as he does his job before. It`s there to deal with Venusaur, Fighters and Amoongus. Tailwind is for a boost when I don`t want TR on, and Quick Guard is to lead with him and avoid being faked out, and also to deal with Pranksters (Am I right here?). Life Orb and Adamant and 252 Atk for maximum power.

Andraste (Conkeldurr)(F) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Wide Guard
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
- Rock Slide
Andraste is the Goddess of Victory, and I`ve had my share of them in Singles with this lady. I switched Detect with Wide Guard and Stone Edge with Rock Slide because of obvious doubles things. Brave for extra power and less speed, and that`s why 0 IVs is there.
Since she`s already normally slow, I don`t care if I hit first or not, because Drain Punch is there for me. Mach Punch for priority and sometime Tailwind gives a nice speed jump out of TR.
I chose Toxic Orb for two reasons: first, in doubles the switches are more frequently, and it does less damage in the short term. Second, with Aromatherapy, she`ll get a reset for this toxic, what can helps in her survivability, in case I can`t switch her out.
That`s it, guys. It`s been a while since I last built my VGC team so, I`m sure I could use some help both in the battling department (if you spot any obvious mistake in the videos, please shout me out), and in the team. I really didn`t have an extended testing with it, only that limited sample and I quite liked it but had difficult facing other Mega Kangs and all Kangs counters, since I only have Fairy and Grass special attacks.
Thanks a lot for the attention.
Namaste.
