This can be used as a semi ultra budget sheriff mech btw, we list everyone that has had one ability and we confirm that every 3 chains cant be all mafia for example

if Des were to pass their ability to LonelyNess and then LonelyLess passes their ability to Westcraft, this would confirm all 3 of them not being mafia together. (but they could be independently or 2 of them.)

Is there a way one mafia getting the power could lie and throw a wrench in this logic
 
I don’t think “No Vote” is a good idea. If town misvotes five days in a row and the bodyguard doesn’t successfully protect at least once… we deserve to lose.

D1 no vote: 14/4
N1 Kill: 13/4
D2 Misvote: 12/4
N2 Kill: 11/4
D3 Misvote: 10/4
N3 Kill: 9/4
D4 Misvote: 8/4
N4 Kill: 7/4
D5 Misvote: 6/4
N5 Kill: 5/4

If this were a setup with at least a sheriff or something like that, I might like the idea more, statistically, getting an extra day. But we don’t have much night info; we’re basically praying that the tracker points to the killer.

I’d rather vote on Day 1 so that, as we go, we progressively have a lower chance of misvoting with the information we gather.
 
LN reads like newbie town to me. Would newbie mafia not just vote someone? They probably have interacted very little with their team so far + it's very common for new players to die on this hill

BTW I am 100% opposed to policy voting des, watching all the discussion around this last game upset me :psycry: We can vote her but not just because she's bad in a centralizing way. Ppl never learn if you do that they just learn that mafia is a game for jerks.
 
I have a lot of fish to fry rn so don't expect me to be able to read if this game ends up generating like 40 pages per day. I will do my best to be active, vote, pay attention, etc regardless

I guess that makes it sound like I'm a bad person to give roles to. Make of that what you will.

If you feel otherwise I'm open to being argued with here. I just think it works out that mafia always want to kill the person who's good at doc. Either they're doc tonight or they're going to be doc in the future, and allegedly good at it. Better to not have to deal with them ever. Ofc there may be other competing priorities but on N1? Nah man kill the guy who said "give me doc" lol

Good, make their kills the least amount of random as possible, this is what we live for in a Doctor game

For real though my opinion hasn’t changed, agree with Bliz that’s no vote day one makes day two into new day one just with one less person. I think that’s a good way to look at it.

Also agreeing that LN seems like a NOC newbie town.

Don’t have strong scumreads yet but we’ll get there I'm sure lol

Def tryna see what reason pulsar and DBD would have to relapse on their no vote stance the game after we voted out town D1, in this game where there’s less reason to no vote D1 mechanically than most games, and I’m not coming up with anything towny

she often puts a lot of effort into providing content that goes against the thread’s grain as scum bc it’s on paper towny to do that, and I think she misread the room on backing no vote counting as this so she went for it after discussion kinda progressed into the consensus view

Idk if it's relevant but des has read like the first past of thread and left before reading the rest/saying anything so I'm inclined to say that she's town off of that, I assumed she would have read at least the full thread at the time to talk with the mafia time if she was scum

Yeah, this is why I put my vote on DBD - I’m heavily suspicious of anyone who agreed with me on when it is very clear that the generally agreed upon thing to do in a NOC is to never no vote.
