the best rationale I can come up with is that ECat was somewhat behind the kill because he's since conflated LN's proficiency in OC with NOC

Laurel kill makes the most sense for someone in that mentality bc Laurel plays more OC than NOC

but like "ECat is scum more at 10" who cares it's weak worldbuilding anyway lol
 
and there's a bunch of other scum who should push back on ECat saying that unless the team actually is something like Bliz/vishy/ECat because Bliz and vishy won't know player reps either lol
 
my thinking is that scum see me and you eod1 talking about how it should either be you or peum who gets nkd and so for doctor reasons choose to not nk you two. This implies phoopes town as if phoopes scum then they dont worry about that. Laurel or me are probably the two next most townread players and since ive been nkd twice in a row they decide to kill laurel (or just killed laurel anyway)
 
fair I think no one else really shared an opinion on Laurel tho giving it a quick search

and Laurel's stake in the ground reads were DBD town and Ness scum
 
if ECat's scum it'd be strange to simultaneously kill Laurel and mayor Ness in the same cycle if they're both town

the more obvious strategy would be to kill literally anyone else and set up a TvT since if Ness had workers rights he'd prob be sweating today with the backing of the mayor

but maybe they just didn't think of it, idrk

yeah idk i dont trust the guy that spun a wheel to pull that play yk. Nor is it guaranteed that Ness OMGUSes Laurel, unless you mean give mayor to laurel?

cos Ness townleads every OC and ECat's already conflated proficiency in OC with NOC in-thread in relation to Ness

if ECat's town he would give the mayor to Ness bc he respects him as a player and thinks he can do good things with it. If ECat's scum he gives it to Ness bc that's what he would do as town. Ness' alignment doesn't even matter either, I just think that Ness def got it

also Ness hasn't been here and mayor hasn't claimed so that creates a small pool of people who might be mayor anyway
