Eww a big fiery bug

Hello this is my first RMT. This team isnt the best so please help me improve it!

Teambuilding process:
I wanted to build a non-sun team based around offensive volcorona.

I wanted something to get rid of tenta and heatran so I went with dugtrio.

Next I wanted something to spin away rocks so I went with starmie.

I knew I had to have something to take dragon attacks and set up hazards so I added ferro to the team.

I didn't like duggy and needed a spinblocker so I replaced him with golurk.

I needed another offensive pokemon and a cleric so reuniclus and blissey were added.

After playing with the team i noticed i made a big mistake putting reuniclus, starmie and golurk on the same team because of the dark weakness so keldeo replaced reuniclus. And out came my team.

Look a unicorn! (Keldeo) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Secret Sword
- Surf
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Ice]

My late game sweeper. This was originally reuniclus before i realized my major dark weakness. With high speed, good coverage and a base 129 special attack this thing can easily finish the game. The moveset is pretty standard with surf to clean up when everything's pretty low and hydro pump when I need the extra power. The rest of the team has coverage to hit what keldeo doesn't so I dont think I should replace hp ice with icy wind and hydro pump with a hidden power but you can if you want to. But definitely dont replace surf with a hidden power because it is essencial for sweeping lategame.

Get it off! (Volcarona) @ Life Orb
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Giga Drain
- Fire Blast
- Bug Buzz

Originally what the team was based around but doesnt do as much as I thought it would do. As you can see, its offensive volcarona which is a powerhouse. Fire blast is used instead of fiery dance for extra power right off the bat. With a life orb, no bulk investment and no recover it doesnt have time to wait around to get boosts from fiery dance. After a quiver dance, it wrecks almost everything. However, many people play cautiously around volcarona so you might not be able to set one up.

Im the star! (Starmie) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 32 Def / 228 Spd
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Scald

Don't get confused by the nickname this is not your sweeping starmie which is the star of the show. It is bulky starmie, who is on the team to take fighting and fire attacks and spin away hazards. It also deals with heatran, which is annoying to my team. I chose it over tentacruel because it is faster, stronger, not weak to ground and has recovery (besides risidual). The move-set is pretty self-explanatory so i don't have to explain it.

Oww, what am i sitting on? (Ferrothorn) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 168 SDef / 88 Def / 252 HP
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
- Protect

This thing is annoying, and thats why it's here. This thing is needed to sponge water attacks (get it) and retaliate back with a power whip. It also can take dragon attacks well and stall stuff out with leech seed.Standard moveset, setting up hazards and leech seed + leftovers + protect can bring you up to a good amount even when your almost dead.

Our Future Technology (Golurk) @ Colbur Berry
Trait: No Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- DynamicPunch
- Stone Edge

"Why are you using a Golurk in ou" because it's a very good pokemon. Being a spinblocker, counter to terrakion if it doesnt have banded earthquake, check to many other physical attackers, having high physical attack combined with good coverage moves, two good abilities and acces to stealth rocks it found a spot on my team. I am using the no gaurd set with dynamicpunch and stone edge. Ice punch can be used over stone edge to hit certain things for super-effective damage but I prefer stone edge for its overall power and it never misses thanks to no guard. Colbur berry is used to take a hit from tyranitar and, more importantly, Swords dance toxicroak which otherwise 6-0s my team.

Mcdonalds (Blissey) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4Spd
Calm Nature
- Toxic
- Wish
- Protect
- Seismic Toss

I honestly never liked Blissey but it fits many roles on this team. Wish helps a lot since many of my pokemon don't have recovery and protect to heal myself. Seismic toss and toxic are my 2 ways of dealing damage so blissey doesn't become setup fodder.

How this team works is I use blissey, golurk, ferro and starmie to wear down the opponents pokemon so keldeo or volc can sweep. Sometimes volc also ends up clearing the path for keldeo to sweep.

Thanks for reading! Again if you have any suggestions please tell me.

I would consider switching Flamethrower to Seismic Toss on your Blissey. In the long run, you will appreciate the consistent 100 Damage as Blissey is not exactly and offensive powerhouse.

I think that Blissey has a few more problems than running Flamethrower by friend. With 0 defensive investment that Blissey is literally taking twice the damage a regular Blissey does from physical attacks, being basically 1HKOed by pursuit. Also, no protect or Softboiled for wish makes Blissey's recovery extremely unreliable. Blissey simply lacks the moves to be a a cleric and a wish passer, it needs to choose one or the other.

run 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD Calm instead, and run a set of:
-Seismic toss / Flamethrower
-Toxic
-Wish / Aromatherapy
-Softboiled / Protect

(make sure you run at least one healing move)

Now, as for the team, I don't know much about offense, but this team looks particularly weak against offensive dragons. Lum Berry Dragonite for example can come in on Blissey and Volcarona, Dragon Dance up easily, and proceed to sweep your entire team. The only check you really have is HP-ice Keldeo, and it doesn't have the muscle to get through Dragonite, even if you manage to break Multiscale, it might not swep your whole team from the get go, but with just the tiniest bit of wear and tear, it can, or at the least open up large holes. You need a stronger choice scarf Pokemon, perhaps scarf-Garchomp?

At first it was really hard for me to give up aromatherepy/heal bell for protect but now I see that it might not be that bad,so I will try it. Also I will definetly put max defence since blissey is still really specially bulky.

Keldeo has been doing a really good job on the team so I just don't want to replace it. I'll either have to run double scarfers in place of volcorona or replace starmie with donphan. I could even run cofagrigus over golurk. Tell me which one of these seems the best to you and I will try it. If you don't like any I will try chomp over keldeo.
