Excadrill is an important staple to Ground-type teams because Sand Rush allows it to outpace all unboosted Pokemon in the metagame such as Dragapult and Gengar. Having Iron Head helps take care of Ice- and Fairy-types such as Galarian Darmanitan and Grimmsnarl. Using Swords Dance before Dynamaxing allows Excadrill to sweep types such as Dragon and Fairy late-game: Max Steelspike allows Excadrill to take care of Togekiss and get a Defense boost, while Max Quake allows Excadrill to take care of Dracovish and get a Special Defense boost to be bulky after Dynamax ends. It also can use Max Rockfall to set up sand to sweep. Be careful about switching Excadrill into attacks because its mediocre bulk and damage from Life Orb make it easy for Pokemon with priority to take care of it.

Excadrill needs Hippowdon in order to more easily make use of its ability Sand Rush; Hippowdon also can set Stealth Rock for Excadrill, which makes it easier to get KOs. Mamoswine is also a good teammate for Excadrill because it can use Ice Shard to pick off the Pokemon that Excadrill weakens. Excadrill struggles against Water-types, so Seismitoad is needed to switch into Water-type attacks for Excadrill. Dugtrio also makes a good teammate because it can trap Hail settlers such as Vanilluxe.

RMT & Mono Leader
- excadrill outpaces all unboosted pokemon in the metagame in sand
- would talk about max rockfalls ability to give it sand to sweep
- wouldn't talk about it breaking past ice/fairy in paragraph 2, it was already stated in the first one
- seismitoad does not use power whip, it still is used as a special attacker. do though talk about its ability to switch into water-type attacks for excadrill
- would list mamoswine as a useful teammate, with priority ice shard it can pick off threats excadrill has weakened

Don't mention EQ directly.

When you talk about Max Steelspike and Max Quake, you should definitely talk about giving Excadrill boosts to be extremely bulky even after Dynamax ends. I really want to see more usage tip-style lines about the moves rather than dex mechanics.

Can we get something about actually using drill? Something like being careful about switching into attacks because its bulk isn't great and Life Orb recoil adds up fast, putting it into priority range.

Worth adding Dugtrio as a teammate that traps Hail setters.

Excadrill is an important staple to Ground-type teams because of its ability Sand Rush allowing allows it to outpace all unboosted Pokemon in the metagame such as Dragapult and Gengar. Having Iron Head helps take care of Ice- and Fairy-types such as Galarian Darmanitan and Grimmsnarl. Using Swords Dance before Dynamaxing allows Excadrill to sweep types such as Dragon and Fairy late game with using late-game: Max Steelspike that also allow allows Excadrill to take care of Togekiss and get a Defense boost, while Max Quake allows Excadrill to take care of Dracovish and get a Special Defense boost to be bulky after Dynamax ends. It also can use Max Rockfall to set up sand to sweep. Be careful about switching Excadrill into attacks because of its mediocre bulk and damage from Life Orb makes make it easy for Pokemon with priority to take care of it.

Excadrill needs Hippowdon in order to more easily (max rockfall) make use of its ability Sand Rush, (RC) and; (ASC, better flow) Hippowdon can also set down Stealth Rock for Excadrill, (AC) which make its makes it easier to get KOs. Mamoswine is also a good teammate for Excadrill because of being able to it can use Ice Shard to pick off the Pokemon that Excadrill has weaken weakens. However, (not a counterpoint to the previous sentence so however doesn't apply) Excadrill struggles against and Water-types, (AC) so Seismitoad is needed in order to have a water immunity and switch into Water-type attacks for Excadrill. Dugtrio also makes a good teammate because it can trap Hail settlers such as Vanilluxe.
