It must have been expecting a gengar switch-in. it still worked for him though. Right now I’m in a bit of a pickle. I have gengar, blissey and mamoswine left and though they all have full HP, all of them can be OHKO’d by heracross. Guess I don’t really have a choice but to out speed it.

I was kinda pissed that hypnosis missed, but in hindset, this could be the best thing that could’ve happened. Because of sleep clause, I can only sleep either roserade OR weavile. I have blissey for roserade but nothing for weavile. I can’t outrun anything with mamoswine either so trying to switch it into weavile is suicide. Noddy knows all of this of course, there’s a reason he stayed in. I’ll just play along for the while.

wait, leafstorm again? I would never have used that move. It takes off a lot of firepower and even if it was expecting mamoswine, it should sleep powder it. Noddy’s not stupid and he’s pulled some great moves on me before. The only explanation to this is that roserade has a choice item. Probably a scarf. Maybe I should have realized that 5 years ago. Maybe I’m just too demanding. Maybe I’m just like my father. Maybe that means I have a safe switch to gengar.

I was kinda pissed that hypnosis missed, but in hindset, this could be the best thing that could’ve happened. Because of sleep clause, I can only sleep either roserade OR weavile. I have blissey for roserade but nothing for weavile. I can’t outrun anything with mamoswine either so trying to switch it into weavile is suicide. Noddy knows all of this of course, there’s a reason he stayed in. I’ll just play along for the while.

I can kill roserade with the next hit. Leafstorm never really threatened me. Noddy also has one more mystery pokemon up his sleeve. He can very well be sacrificing roserade for a safe switch. My gut tells me though that’s just what he wants me to think. Noddy seems like he enjoys trying outsmarting his opponents. I’ll go with my gut, if roserade stays in, game over.

uh oh. Mixape. Mix-freaking-ape. This thing can take down my entire team. Gengar’s low on life, blissey can get hit by close combat and mamoswine has NO chance on a switch. Flamethrower, grass knot and close combat all OHKO’s it. I thought about this for like a minute or two and as painful as it is, I have to sacrifice my blissey with all that life left.

Noddy for an AMAZING game. He really played quite well and could’ve easily won it.
The shoddy gods for making my hypnosis eerily on the money. It hit every time I really needed it to and missed the one time it couldn’t hit. If just one of them had gone differently, dare I say it, I would’ve lost.
