SS OU Expansion pass ou hyper offense team.

With the new expansion pass, and the banning of Dracovish to Ubers, it’s time I take a stab at an ou hyper offense team again.

Clawitzer @ Aguav Berry
Ability: Mega Launcher
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 56 HP / 252 SpA / 200 Spe
Rash Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aura Sphere
- Dark Pulse
- Dragon Pulse
- Water Pulse
I chose clawitzer to be mainly my fire type coverage, with aura sphere, dark, and dragon pulse for coverage. I originally tried a choice specs set, but it didn’t work out all that well. If there is any item that suites this set better, plz tell me. I don’t know what I’m doing with the new ou layout.

Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Mirror Armor
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 28 Atk / 192 Def / 152 SpD / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Defog
- Drill Peck
- Iron Head
- Tailwind
I run a defensive defogger set with leftovers on my Corviknight, while setting up tailwind while it’s out on the field. Corviknight also covers fairy types with iron head and fighting types with drill peck. Not my usual take, but I’m getting used to the true use of hyper offense.

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 112 HP / 252 Atk / 144 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aerial Ace
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Bug Bite
Scizor is my swords dance sweeper. Aerial ace is for coverage or any double framers that come my way. Bullet punch and bug bite are for STAB while also being increased in damage output with Technician and swords dance. This may seem like a cheesy and gimmicky set, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Luxray @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 172 HP / 128 Atk / 208 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Wild Charge
- Superpower
- Psychic Fangs
- Ice Fang
Along with being my favorite Pokémon of all time, Luxray is my Guts sweeper. Wild charge for STAB along with water and flying coverage. Ice fang is for ground types. Superpower is for rock, dark, and steel types. Psychic fangs is for fighting and poison types. Advice is needed, and this set and others could improve.

Clefable @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Cute Charm
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dazzling Gleam
- Psychic
- Moonblast
- Shadow Ball
Clefable is for dragon type coverage that might give the next one some trouble. Psychic is for poison type coverage. Shadow ball is for ghost or psychic type Pokémon. Overall, Clefable is for coverage of weaknesses that this team may have, while at the same time posing as a threat on its own.

Druddigon
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Tail
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Crunch
Besides scizor and Luxray, Druddigon is a powerhouse on the team. Dragon tail for coverage against other dragons. Earthquake is for electric, fire, and other types. Iron head is for those pesky fairy types and ice types and crunch is for psychic types.

4 the admins( I promise not to be as annoying as I probably and most likely was last time)

well lots of things don't go well with this team. I advise you to start by looking at meta sets and sample teams on the website.
You could also look i don't know guides on pokemon strategy. Watching some pokeaim videos for example ?

To begin with, you don't have any hazards in this team, any heal and any volt-turn. All those things are among the best moves in pokemon and almost mandatory to build a good team. Furthermore, you don't have the good way of thinking by saying "coverage against Dragon" "coverage against Poison" : you want to think about the best pokemons in the meta, and how to deal with them. You can start this by looking the usages.
For example how do you deal Volcarona ? In this team u are literally 6-0 if you don't succeed to have tailwind.
Also you want to build around one main idea. Here If i understood well the gameplan, you want to set up tailwind to sweep with other mons right ?

Just as a beginning i'll try to correct your sets.

Clawitzer @ Life Orb
Ability: Mega Launcher
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Ice Beam
- Water Pulse
- Aura Sphere
- Dark Pulse

Ice beam is way better than dragon pulse for coverage against grass type, especially with Tangrowth Assault vest that i see everywhere.
you can run it life orb with this tailwind team, but imo choice specs is the better set.

Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Tailwind
- Roost
- Body Press / Brave Bird / U-turn

If he is really your tailwind setter roost is mandatory. I just didn't understand the EVs repart ??
Iron head is really not necessary with bullet punch scizor.

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 112 HP / 252 Atk / 144 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dual Wingbeat
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Bug Bite

Scizor got Dual WingBeat which is way better than aerial ace now. Technician does proc on it making it 120 BP.
For the EV repart i would just go 252 Speed, especially with tailwind but i didn't check Speed tiers. What do u want to outspeed ?

Luxray @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Wild Charge
- Superpower
- Psychic Fangs
- Ice Fang

Again i don't understand your EV repartition ?? explain. full atk is mandatory imo. For the rest what do you want to outspeed ?

Clefable @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled

Cute charm Clefable ??? Double fairy moves ? Is that a joke ? my heart broked.
magic guard is broken and works very well with life orb for an offensive set.
