experimental duo core team

Hello, My names Melic and I just recently started playing Pokemon competitively on the online simulator. So I want some feed back on the first OU team I created.
As you can tell for the title, the main "gimmick" of this this team is the fact it contains an offensive and defensive core

Offensive core
Hydreigon experimental bulky-mixed-wall breaking hydreigon
expert belt-for extra damage an to compensate for less special attack evs
Mild-+Satk -Def
work up-used for a quick boost after forcing a switch
dragon pulse-standard STAB
fire blast-coverage move
superpower-takes out blissy and heatran
252 Hp-I increased his Hp in order to take hits.
4 Satk- plan to use work up to compensate for less Special attack evs
252 Spe-max speed
-This is a unique set that I am experimenting with. It is basically a bulky-mixed-wall breaking hydreigon. The play style of this pokemon is to force a Pokemon out, take a hit, work up, then fight back

Infernape standard choice band infernape (using iron fist)
choice band-self explanatory
jolly- to out speed the musketeers
flare blitz-STAB
close combat-STAB
mach punch- priority move to pick off weaken Pokemons
u-turn-scouting
252 Atk-max attack
4 Hp-leftover evs
252 Spe-max speed

Starmie scarfed revenge killer with support
choice scarf-used to revenge kill +1 speed sweepers and scarfed Pokemon
modest-+Satk -Atk
rapid spin-used to clear entry hazards and bluff a support set
thunderblot-BoltBeam combo
ice beam-BoltBeam combo
hydro pump-STAB
252 Satk-max special attack
4 Hp-left over evs
252 Spe-max speed
-consider replacing rapid spin with trick

Defensive core
Ferrothorn anti-rain, Special wall, stealth rocker
leftover-to heal
relaxed-to sponge special hits better
power whip-damage
thunder wave-to stop sweepers
stealth rocks-self explanatory
protect-scouting
252 Hp-Max hp
168 Sdef-to take on most special hits
88 Def-to take on most physical hits
-consider replacing leftovers with shed shell

Gyarados phazer, special tank, anti-sun, taunter (using intimidate)
leftovers-to heal
careful-tank special hits
Dragon tail-phaze move
water fall-STAB
taunt-to stop Pokemon from setting up
stone edge-Coverage
252 Sdef-max special defense
248 Hp-almost max Hp
8 Spe-to out speed base 80 speeds
-consider replacing stone edge with roost

Gliscor physical-wall, stall breaker
toxic orb-to activate poison point
impish-to boost defense
earthquake-STAB
protect-stall
substitute-stall
toxic-residual damage
252 Hp-max hp
184 Def-some defense
72 Sdef- to take some hidden power ices

Strengths
-this team is very adaptable, considering you can switch between offensive and defensive play styles
-I am able to revenge kill most common OU sweepers such as dragonite and terrikon pretty well with scarfed starmie
-Ferrothorn and Gyarados can wall most rain sweepers
-Gliscor and starmie counters sand storm (theoretically)
-Gyarados and infernape counters sun (theoretically)

Weaknesses
-due to how specialized each of my pokemon are, losing even one early game can really screw me over
-I had trouble with substitute, bulk up/calm mind/dragon dance sets
-This team requires further testing because I only played about a dozen games with it

Thank you for read

This RMT is untidy and its presentation needs improvement so it suits the standards of the forum guidelines. It also lacks individual descriptions. Please check out the RMT Archive and other active threads to see the kind of detail and format we look for.
