[SET COMMENTS]

* With its sheer power, decent bulk, and solid movepool options, Arceus defines itself as one of the tier's most devastating setup sweepers and wallbreakers, as well as being a very potent revenge-killer. Terastalization, whether it be Normal or Ghost, adds onto this, making Arceus even more difficult to answer for balance and bulky offense teams, whether it be from its extreme power, or its improved trading capabilities with would-be revenge killers. Due to it not requiring specific support to function effectively, it is a staple for various hyper offense structures that appreciate a bulky setup sweeper, that works well against opposing hyper offense teams.

* Extreme Speed itself is a spammable move, since not many viable Pokemon in the tier resist or are immune to it, making it excellent for Arceus to clean through weakened teams with. Combined with Swords Dance, Arceus can outspeed and OHKO the majority of the offensive metagame, including threats such as Eternatus, Ultra Necrozma, and Sucker Punch Yveltal. Shadow Claw synergises perfectly with Extreme Speed, hitting the Ghost-types such as Giratina-O, Marshadow, and Lunala, that are immune to Extreme Speed, preventing them being reliable checks to Arceus.

* Taunt is a very valuable move for Arceus, denying status conditions from Giratina-O, Alomomola, and support Arceus formes, as well as opposing setup from slower foes such as Coil Zygarde and IronPress Garganacl. It has good merit for hyper offense teams too, denying Ho-Oh and the aforementioned Giratina-O from using Defog to remove entry hazards. Alternatively, Double-Edge makes the most out of the limited Normal-type switch-ins the tier has. It is able to OHKO defensive Ho-Oh and defensive Primal Kyogre after a boost, while allowing Arceus to OHKO Coil Zygarde after a boost, with Tera Normal, preventing it from being a consistent check, and enhancing Arceus's wallbreaking capabilities further. Recover is a niche option, that lets Arceus shrug off attacks, such as Giratina-O's Draco Meteor, Choice Specs Lunala's Moonblast, and support Arceus's Judgment, notably letting Arceus beat Thunder Wave variants of the former, due to the special attack drops Giratina-O deals with after, but Arceus is usually better off just attacking instead of using Recover, especially compared to the usefulness of Taunt. Earthquake is a niche option for Sticky Web teams, letting Arceus OHKO Zacian-C after a boost, while hitting Garganacl, but this is very specific for Arceus, especially when +2 Tera Normal Double-Edge has a roll to OHKO the former anyways, even if Earthquake is better for Tera Ghost variants.

* Silk Scarf gives Arceus a consistent damage output to Extreme Speed and Double-Edge, and doesn't suffer from the same recoil issues that Life Orb does, giving Arceus improved longevity, while still letting it OHKO offensive Primal Kyogre and Rayquaza with Extreme Speed after a boost . Alternatively, Life Orb maximises Arceus's offensive capabilities; it allows it to OHKO offensive Eternatus and offensive Ho-Oh after a boost. Unlike Silk Scarf, it improves the power of Shadow Claw as well, notably letting Arceus OHKO Giratina-O and Dragon Dance Necrozma-DM with +2 Tera Ghost Shadow Claw. However, the recoil hinders Arceus's longevity significantly, making it less capable of trading with other offensive threats, and more often than not, the boost from Silk Scarf is enough to suffice, especially for Double-Edge variants, where the extra recoil can lead to Arceus fainting itself. Lum Berry can also be considered, since it enables easier setup against Ho-Oh, Alomomola, and Giratina-O. Unfortunately, it is too matchup-dependant, making it less consistent compared to the alternatives, and the drop in power is very noticeable, making Arceus less threatening as a whole.

* The first EV spread maximizes Arceus's Attack while letting it outspeed Adamant Kyurem-B, as well as Marshadow and Zacian-C after Sticky Web. The rest is dumped into bulk, notably letting Arceus survive Mega Salamence's boosted Double-Edge from full. The second EV spread outspeeds Chi-Yu while having enough bulk to survive Primal Kyogre's Origin Pulse and Life Orb Deoxys-A's Psycho Boost from full.

* Tera Ghost forces Marshadow to play a coinflip between its STAB moves, making Arceus more challenging to punish. It completely shuts down revenge-killing attempts from Close Combat Zacian-C, Ditto, and Rayquaza. Offensively, it empowers Shadow Claw, notably letting boosted Arceus OHKO Choice Specs Lunala with Shadow Shield up, as well as Dragon Dance Necrozma-DM with Life Orb at +2. Alternatively, Tera Normal allows boosted Arceus to OHKO Double Dance Primal Groudon with Extreme Speed after Stealth Rock, as well as OHKOing defensive Yveltal and offensive Eternatus. It also empowers Double-Edge, letting it OHKO Zygarde and defensive Primal Groudon, while even having a chance to 2HKO Dondozo. However, it lacks any defensive qualities unlike Tera Ghost, as well as not boosting the power of Shadow Claw, making Giratina-O and Marshadow more difficult to handle, limiting its use to Sticky Web teams, where Marshadow is no longer an issue.

* Arceus lacks any notable defensive qualities outside of its raw bulk, limiting it just to hyper offense structures that want to capitalize off of its fabulous wallbreaking and cleaning abilities. Depending on the moveset, Terastalization option, and opposing team structure, Arceus fluctuates between these two roles. Notably, Double-Edge variants of Arceus are more suited to the early-to-mid game, where it can break through Pokemon such as defensive Ho-Oh and Coil Zygarde for teammates to profit off of, especially since its poor longevity makes it difficult to trade with opposing offensive Pokemon, or to act as a sufficient sweeper. Arceus is quite reliant on Terastalization for either of these roles, whether it be for better trading capabilities or for additional power.

* Yveltal is a fantastic partner for Arceus on hyper offense structures, since it is able to threaten common checks to Arceus, such as Giratina-O, Zygarde, and Ferrothorn , while still being great at breaking past other physical walls such as defensive Primal Groudon and defensive Arceus-Dark. In return, Arceus helps break past specially defensive Pokemon such as Arceus-Fairy, Ho-Oh, and Fezandipiti. They are both capable of overwhelming a shared check in Zacian-C, with other offensive teammates such as Primal Groudon handling that further. Zacian-C itself is a good partner too, since they both overwhelm physical walls such as defensive Primal Groudon and Tera Water Zygarde together, while Zacian-C can help break through Giratina-O, similarly to Yveltal. They can both overwhelm a shared check in Necrozma-DM too, with Zacian-C helping against opposing Arceus and Ditto attempting to revenge kill.

* Arceus fails to do anything meaningful against stall teams since both Dondozo and Giratina shut it down with ease. On structures utilising Sticky Web, Chi-Yu is a fantastic wallbreaker for Arceus, since it notably shreds through stall with its boosted attacks, while still beating opposing Ghost-types such as Lunala and Giratina-O. It can even lure in and remove defensive Ho-Oh with +2 Black Hole Eclipse, letting Arceus clean through opposing teams more smoothly. Chi-Yu's fast Taunt helps maintain entry hazards for Arceus too, especially against Giratina-O. Meteor Beam Lunala and Eternatus are very similar when it comes to wallbreaking for Arceus to clean up better afterwards. Ultra Necrozma appreciates Arceus breaking past both Arceus-Dark and Yveltal, while it can blow through Necrozma-DM and Primal Groudon with Earthquake.

* Suicide leads such as Deoxys-S and Glimmora provide hazards for Arceus to break through teams more easily, notably guaranteeing the OHKO defensive Primal Groudon with +2 Tera Normal Double-Edge, and more reliably OHKOing Lunala with Shadow Claw once Shadow Shield is removed. Sticky Web support from Smeargle and Shuckle enable Arceus to outspeed foes such as Marshadow and Zacian-C, that would ordinarily revenge kill it. All these entry hazard leads appreciate Arceus using Taunt to maintain their entry hazards. It should be noted that all these entry hazard leads barring Shuckle can prevent opposing hazards from going up, improving Arceus's longevity, which is especially important for Life Orb or Double-Edge variants.

*Outspeeds Chi-Yu still and can SD on Yveltal. Still avoids the OHKO from 252+ Origin Pulse, LO Psycho Boost, +1 Tera Dragon Dynamax Cannon. Found a different spread, but it survived everything with a few spare EVs and had some left over so put it into just HP.

* With its sheer power, decent bulk, and numerous movepool optionssaying it has a million options kinda oversells it, Arceus defines itself as one of the tier's most devastating setup sweepers, wallbreakers, as well as a very potent revenge-killer. Terastalization adds onto this, making Arceus even more difficult to answer offensively and defensively, for the balance and bulky offense teams it is so good at cleaving through. It is really only tera normal that is the huge threat atm. Its alright regardless, but Tera Normal Double-Edge is what makes it go from good to scary. Due to it not requiring specific major support to function effectively, it is a staple for various hyper offense structures teams that appreciate a bulky setup sweeper, that works well against opposing hyper offense teams. Ingore if I'm wrong, but I think what you're trying to say is Ekiller fits on basically any HO? If so, specific works better to show that it works well on just about any HO unlike something like Chi-Yu which only fits on webs.

* Extreme Speed combined with Swords Dance enables Arceus to outspeed and OHKO the majority of the offensive metagame, including threats such as Eternatus, Ultra Necrozma, and Yveltal. The wording feels off, but espeed v yveltal's sucker punch specifically is something that should be mentioned. Extreme Speed itself is a spammable move too, since not many viable Pokemon in the tier resist or are immune to it, making it excellent for Arceus to clean through weakened teams with. Shadow Claw synergises perfectly with Extreme Speed, hitting the Ghost-types such as Giratina-O, Marshadow, and Lunala, that are immune to the latter, preventing them from being reliably switching in.(ap); this also hits Necrozma-DM for super-effective. DD NDM surives even +2 Tera Ghost Shadow Claw after Stealth Rock and is likely to OHKO with unboosted Z. This paragraph can be reorganized as I think you want to discuss the benefits of Extreme Speed itself and then discuss it at +2. I'd also move Double-Edge into this bullet and Shadow Claw into the next one. Tina-O is kind of a similar situation and I'm not sure why you wouldn't bring it in v Ekiller? +2 Tera Ghost doesn't OHKO anyways. Marsh and Lunala is valid even though Marshadow can sort of switch-in.

* Taunt is a very valuable move for Arceus, denying status conditions from Giratina-O, Alomomola, and support Arceus formes, as well as opposing setup from slower foes such as Coil Zygarde and defensive Necrozma-DM ngl this set is so shit it probably shouldn't be mentioned. Mention how Taunt allows Arceus to setup on Zyg as well. . It has good merit for hyper offense teams too, denying Ho-Oh and the aforementioned Giratina-O from using Defog to remove entry hazards such as Sticky Webs. Alternatively, Double-Edge makes the most out of the limited Normal-type switch-ins the tier has, allowing Arceus to OHKO defensive Ho-Oh and defensive Primal Kyogre after a boost. It also allows Arceus to OHKO untransformed Coil Zygarde after a boost, with Tera Normal, preventing it from being a consistent check.Reword the last sentences as describing Ho-Oh and Primal Kyogre as 'Normal-type switchins' is weird and not really true. +2 Tera Normal Double-Edge OHKOes... is the proper phrasing I think. I'd also talk about how Double-Edge lets Arceus be a proper wallbreaker. Recover lets Arceus shrug off attacks, such as Giratina-O's Draco Meteor, Choice Specs Lunala's Moonblast, and support Arceus's Judgment, notably letting Arceus beat Thunder Wave variants of the former, due to the special attack drops Giratina-O deals with after. Earthquake is a niche option for Sticky Web teams, letting Arceus OHKO Zacian-C after a boost, but this has less usefulness compared to other moves, especially when +2 Tera Normal Double-Edge has a roll to OHKO anyways. I'd mention it is better on Tera Ghost Ekiller and also it hitting Garganacl is important.

* Silk Scarf gives Arceus a consistent damage output to Extreme Speed and Double-Edge, and doesn't suffer from the same recoil issues that Life Orb does, giving Arceus improved longevity, while still letting it which attack? OHKO offensive Primal Kyogre and Rayquaza after a boost . Alternatively, Life Orb maximises Arceus's offensive capabilities; it allows it to OHKO offensive Eternatus and offensive Ho-Oh after a boost. Unlike Silk Scarf, it improves the power of Shadow Claw as well, notably letting Arceus OHKO Giratina-O and Dragon Dance Necrozma-DM with boosted +2 Tera Ghost Shadow Claw. However, the recoil hinders Arceus's longevity significantly, making it less capable of trading with other offensive threats. I'd shit on LO a little more and emphasize how poor it is as Ekiller generally gets the damage it needs with Silk Scarf and the longevity is a massive issue. Tina-O is so dogshit v HO for the most part that DD NDM is the primary benefit of LO.

* The given EV spread maximizes Arceus's Attack while letting it outspeed Adamant Kyurem-B, as well as Marshadow and Zacian-C after Sticky Web. The rest is dumped into bulk, notably letting Arceus survive Mega Salamence's boosted Double-Edge from full.

* Tera Ghost goes a long way for Arceus both defensively and offensively. It forces Marshadow to play a coinflip between its STAB moves, since Tera Ghost blocks Low Kick, making Arceus more challenging to punish. It completely shuts down revenge-killing attempts from Tera Ghost Pheromosa? Deoxys-A is a much better example Tera Ghost Pheromosa is pretty ass, Ditto, and Rayquaza. Zacian-C's CC is bigger than any of these tbh. Offensively, it empowers Shadow Claw, notably letting boosted Arceus OHKO Choice Specs Lunala with Shadow Shield upDD NDM should be mentioned. Alternatively, Tera Normal allows boosted Arceus to OHKO Double Dance Primal Groudon with Extreme Speed after Stealth Rock, as well as OHKOing defensive Yveltal. However, it lacks any defensive qualities unlike Tera Ghost, as well as not boosting the power of Shadow Claw, making Giratina-O and Marshadow more difficult to handle, limiting its use to Sticky Web teams, where Marshadow is no longer an issue. The offensive benefits of Tera Ghost seem way too hyped up. +2 Tera Normal Extreme Speed OHKOing offensive Eternatus should be mentioned. Also the impact of Tera Normal Double-Edge should be mentioned. OHKOes every member of GHAZ except Pdon which dies after rocks anyways.

* Arceus lacks any notable defensive qualities outside of its raw bulk, limiting it just to hyper offense structures that want to capitalize off of its fabulous wallbreaking and cleaning abilities. Depending on the moveset, Tera type, and opposing team structure,(rc) Arceus fluctuates between these two roles. Arceus's reliance on Tera definitely needs to be mentioned in this bullet.

* Although Arceus is a nightmare for offensive teams, most fat balance and stall teams are bulky enough to prevent Arceus from getting out of hand, especially those that use Ferrothorn, Garganacl, and Dondozo. Arceus can even struggle against typical defensive Pokemon, such as Overheat Primal Groudon, Dragon Tail Zygarde, and defensive Foul Play Arceus-Dark. Therefore, powerful special attackers are fantastic for Arceus, since they break through majority of these threats with ease. Examples include Eternatus, Primal Kyogre, and Mega Mewtwo Y, all three of which appreciate Arceus trading with and revenge killing opposing offensive threats, such as Deoxys-A, Ultra Necrozma, and Yveltal. Eternatus in particular can absorb opposing Toxic Spikes, improving Arceus's longevity.(ap), especially Life Orb Double-Edge variants. LO Double-Edge is pure greed and should not be recommended in an analysis. MMY is so out of place here. It also doesn't really do well v any of the mons listed.

* Yveltal, Chi Yu, and Metor Beam Lunala, all have great synergy with Arceus due to them all threatening the Ghost-types that Arceus doesn't like dealing with, such as Giratina-O and Marshadow. Lunala in particular appreciates Arceus switching into opposing Ghost-type attacks, such as Basculegion's Last Respects. They all break past physical walls too, letting Arceus clean up opposing teams more smoothly. Since Arceus and its teammates mostly fit on hyper offense teams, suicide leads such as Deoxys-S, Glimmora, and Smeargle, are fantastic teammates; the former two support Arceus with hazards, notably letting it OHKO Calm Mind Arceus-Dark after a boost, and with Tera Normal. Smeargle and Shuckle support Arceus with Sticky Webs, letting it outspeed would-be revenge killers such as Marshadow and Zacian-C. These suicide leads barring Shuckle can prevent opposing hazards from going up, improving Arceus's bulk and longevity.

I think the teammates section is better split into three bullets.

Bullet 1: Common HO mons that synergize well with Arceus on any HO archetype i.e. Specially offensive Yveltal + Zacian-C.

Bullet 2: mons that fit on Hstack HO. i.e. unecro

Bullet 3: mons that fit on webs i.e. chi-yu

Also how Zacian-C is dealt with is probably the biggest thing missing as CC Zacian-C is an issue. Ekiller being dogshit into stall due to being walled by Dozo should be mentioned and how its teammates help it deal with that.

Id mention that zacian helps against opposing ekiller in that bullet. Also it's worth being a bit clearer that life orb should mostly be used on Tera Ghost sets and is bad if Double Edge is used (the recoil will prevent it from getting an additional KO and it gets the Kos it needs without it). These are minor so 1/2 and great job.

Also fwiw, pretty sure that chi yu should read +2 black hole eclipse and it's worth talking about it's speedy taunt helping to maintain webs

Pretty good, just apply this then ping me so I can then corroborate for a stamp.

It is able to OHKO defensive Ho-Oh and defensive Primal Kyogre after a boost, while allowing Arceus to OHKO untransformed redundant Coil Zygarde after a boost, with Tera Normal, preventing it from being a consistent check, and enhancing Arceus's wallbreaking capabilities further.

Add a niche mention of Lum Berry as an other option-deal thing, notably mentioning some benchmarks it loses if it goes for it over Silk Scarf

The second EV spread outspeeds Chi Yu Chi-Yu fix other instances of this while having enough bulk to survive Primal Kyogre's Origin Pulse and Life Orb Deoxys-A's Psycho Boost from full.

On structures utilising Sticky Web, Chi Yu is a fantastic wallbreaker for Arceus, since it notably shreds through stall with its boosted attacks, while still beating opposing Ghost-types such as Lunala and Giratina-O. It can even lure in and remove defensive Ho-Oh with +2 Black Hole Eclipse, letting Arceus clean through opposing teams more smoothly. Chi Yu's fast Taunt helps maintain entry hazards for Arceus too, especially against Giratina-O.
