Fairly Successful Team

I'm a new member to smogon, and fairly new to Pokemon competitive play, so I'm not quite sure how these RMTs are supposed to be written. I've been playing Pokemon Online for about a month now, and my rating has peaked at 362, but after testing and changing up my team for a while, my rating has decreased to 1412. I guess that's it for the introduction, so onto the team:

Victini_by_arkeis_pokemon.png

Victini @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Victory Star
EVs: 252 HP/252 Spe/4 Atk
Jolly Nature (-SpAtk +Spe)

-V Create
-Final Gambit
-U Turn
-Wild Charge

I use Victini as my Final Gambit lead, being able to outspeed and KO my opponent's lead before they can set up rocks/spikes. If I see a Chansey during team preview, or my opponent's suspected lead has over 100 base HP, i'll lead with Garchomp or Mew instead.

Mew @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 Spe
Impish Nature (-SpAtk +Def)

-Will o Wisp
-Stealth Rock
-U Turn
-Roost

I needed a Pokemon with respectable physical bulk who could set up stealth rocks, making Mew the perfect candidate. With the current spread, Mew finds himself with 404 HP and 320 Def, capable of taking almost any physical attack and then pulling off a Will o Wisp to neutralize the attacker, letting mew set up Rocks or just Roost stall them to death. U Turn helps Mew deal with Reuniclus switch-ins or just allow for a free switch against a speedy enemy. Mew is also able to take a swords dance boosted attack from Garchomp or Excadrill (except X-Scissor) and then use Will o Wisp to prevent them from sweeping.

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 Def
Jolly Nature (-SpAtk +Spe)

-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast
-Stone Edge

Garchomp is my revenge killer, reaching a blistering speed of 500, enough to outspeed practically every threat in OU, including all base 100 pkmn at +1. He also is capable of sweeping late game, if my opponent's pkmn that resist his stabs have been KO'd.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spe
Adamant Nature (-SpAtk +Atk)

-Bullet Punch
-U Turn
-Pursuit
-Superpower

Scizor makes a great clean-up Pokemon. With a Choice Band, he can KO practically any pkmn below 50 HP that doesnt resist his Bullet Punch. He is also a good counter to Reuniclus, with U Turn putting Reun in KO range of any of my other pkmn. Pursuit is useful for trapping Gengar, Specs Latios, Jellicent, and any other pkmn that would switch-out at the sight of this metal bug. Superpower is there for Blissey and Chansey, who normally wall most of my team.

Suicune_by_Xous54.png

Suicune @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpAtk
Bolt Nature (-Atk +Def)

-Calm Mind
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Scald

Suicune serves as a great mixed wall. Being as there are almost no physical electric or grass pokemon, Suicune can easily burn a physical attacker with Scald, and then set up a couple Calm Minds in it's face. It can take a hit from the opposite spectrum as well with its base 100 HP and Calm Mind boosted base 115 SpDef. Rest and Sleep Talk are there to remove status from Chansey and other pesky pkmn that try to put Cune on a clock with Toxic.

Chansey_by_Xous54.png

Chansey @ Eviolite
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpDef
Bold Nature (-Atk +Def)

-Wish
-Protect
-Toxic
-Seismic Toss

Chansey is the biggest troll in the game. I have won so many games by simply burning or Victiciding their physical attackers, and having Chansey toxic/seismic stall their entire team. With a bold nature and 252 Def EVs, Chansey is capable of taking a few physical hits as well, allowing her to poison, and then wish/protect stall physical attackers to death.

you seem to be really worried about chansey when you should be worried about jellicent. Even against scizor, it can burn you and recover stall out pursuit.

Good team but I dont think victini should be scarfed as it would be better to let off a V-create then a final gambit after the opponent has done something that hopefully isnt damage it. I would invest more into spD for mew as WoW halves attack power so that much in defence isn't needed. I would have roar on suicune instead of CM as you can scout while burning a few pokemon with scald.

thank you for posting:)

@red alert- how would you solve this problem? banded scizor usually takes care of jelly, as pursuit 2HKO it and i outspeed it...so if they go for the scald, and fail to burn me, bye bye jelly.

@wacky tabaki- I would go a more offensive route with victini, but mainly it is used for final gambit, and having attack investment means either cutting out speed or HP, which reduces the effectiveness of the set. i like being able to OHKO volcarona at +1, and any changes to the EVs/nature would prevent me from doing so...without scarf i have trouble with ddancers, and the scarf lets me kill latios and other poke beyond base 100 speed.

lately, i've been having trouble with suicune, as it cant take a special hit without using CM first, and its hard to set up with being so slow, and because i normally switch in on powerful physical sweepers, who pressure me into using scald until i burn them, at which point they switch to a special attacker and kill me before i can set up. also, as much as i love mew, the inaccuracy of Will o Wisp is so horrible, i often give the opponent the extra boost they need to sweep, or they'll do enough damage that if i use WoW again, they'll still kill me. also, against tytar, who if i see on a team preview, i usually lead with mew, if i miss the first WoW, they'll have gotten a stealth rocks up, and then switch into conkeldur/reuniclus/other broken status absorber or fire type/flash fire user or special sweeper. it completely takes the surprise out of the move. im looking to replace these two pokemon, without disrupting my balance of resistances...any suggestions? also, is there another alternative to scizor, as there are so many pkmn that switch into his attacks with no problem, and being banded, they get the opportunity to set up on my switch.

Most Jellicent will just will-o-wisp you. If you are burned, your scizor is worthless and jellicent can just recover stall out your pursuits. By switching scizor in on jellicent you risk switching right into a will-o-wisp, so jellicent has 2 effective chances to burn you.
