no pictures :/ instead of explaining each role ill explain the team in brief. when i start a battle i look for the mons persian and kangaskhan cant beat together and i play the start and middle of my game around trying to take them out. for instance rhydon is hard to take out so i try to have lanturn in vs it and the evs given is to outspeed jolly rhydons. i could also try to burn it with weezing or knock off/cc with sawk. its also nice to try and take out any poisons so i can keep a layer of toxic spikes on the field to enhance the late-end game fakeout experience. I run eq on sawk to help with lead garbodors mainly. obviously ghosts are somewhat of a problem but i never had enough trouble to do anything. I like probo and lanturn because they are bulky mons that cover most of the tier that weezing doesnt and the main thing being that they both have slow volt switch to benefit the offensive mons of the team. if i am successful in taking out or lower the hps of pokemon that are hard to handle i start to switch into one of the fake outers with a slow pivot volt switch or on a down.

what i want is to keep kanga/persian and possibly sawk but make a team that has hazards and pivot(s) to benefit them. I like sawk as an offensive lead because of how much of a threat people see banded sawk and how much damage it can do. it is one of the best single wall breakers in the tier and happens to pack a fighting, ground and dark move which is some of the best coverage to support the fake out core.

I want a wallbreaker or two that has little to no switch ins like sawk, i was thinking about basculin or exeggutor but i never tested them with the core. I also want some bulk so that i can switch out, weezing was an amazing example of this as well as the other two mons. i dont like running choiced mons unless their stab has no types it doesnt effect.

I understand my team is weak to aurorus, mold breaker sawk, ect but i peaked #3 with the team as it is lmao and yolo swag. im not looking for a perfect team defensively, my mind set is keeping the opponent in the passenger seat so i am always driving and therefor always in control of the offensive role.

i would like to keep toxic spikes but meh its not completely necessary. i always wanted to use this core with hazard stack but i suck at making hazard stack teams so if someone could recommend some cores that might work please lemme know.

ok lemme say that im kinda annoying to help because im super picky, i dont like set using set up moves. i dont like using standard sets a lot (lol 4 of my sets are standard). i dont like running choiced items. i dont use life orb. im just really close-minded when it comes to pokemon.
anyways if you comment anything with suggestions or constructive criticism i will appreciate it even if i disagree with you :]

You need to be a bit more descriptive with your mons before the thread gets locked.

In the time being, your team is grossly weak to cro-dino, and im rly not diggin ur lanturn or weezing ev spread, i would make a suggestion but I don't know their roles.

COMMON Threats to your team include:
Ground types in general (mold breaker sawk with eq curb stomps ur team)
Normal Types
Archeops with acrobatics/eq.
Garbodor (which is on every other team), because you have 5 grounded mons and no sense of hazard control or way of immidiately dispatching it.
Ferroseed (obvious)
Ludicolo

Enough of that, lets talk about how u can fix this.

Clearly smog > sludge bomb weezing for audino check.
Everyone is speed creepin the creepers, so jolly kangaskhan > adamant imo, but its upto still.
2 mons to spam fake out is unneccesary, especially if one doesnt even hit ghosts. So I would replace persian with mega audinos spread with fire blast to lure out ferroseeds and hit poison types, but you can use grass knot to hit rhydons for kangaskhan.
Also I would replace probopass with colbur mesprit, this adds another fighting resist to relieve pressure from weezing, while supplying rocks and a momentum move, as well as being able to threaten garbodor.

Persian --> Audino @ Audinite
Ability: Regenerator
Bold Nature
Evs : 232 HP / 212 Def / 48 SpA / 16 Spe
- Wish
- Protect
- Grass Knot / Fire Blast
- Dazzlign Gleam

Weezing --> replace sludge bomb with clear smog and move 28 speed evs to def.

Probopass --> Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Timid Nature
Evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic
- U-turn / Signal Beam
- Filler (ice beam/healing wish/tbolt etc.)

Good luck with the team man, if you make any changes lemme know how they went

Probopass / Persian / Kangaskhan / CM Musharna / Sawk / Lanturn

hey NeverUsedTier

We had a chat recently on showdown and you are currently experimenting with the above team. Although i really like the niche you are going for here, there are some concerns which need to be addressed. Normal Types + Flying Types with EQ coverage tear apart the main spin of this team. It was somewhat addressed with Musharna swap, being an exceptional physical tank with some reliable recovery. However, not having a fullon stop can be frightening and in all honesty, with slight damage on lanturn and musharna (half each will do), archeops just rips this team to shreds. Priority somewhat whittles it into defeatist, but with roost, it always has that potential. Other thing that scare me is lilligant and malamar, and althought quite credible at first a lack of win-condition. Shiftry is a bitch as well. Magnet Trap Probopass is good, but you dont need to trap the Steels, they arent the issue. Fake Out switchins still exist pass steel types with passive recovery, and we will try to alter this win-plan to better suit the fake out nature of this team.

Onto the actual changes. We need first and foremost a full counter to Normal / Flying Type pokemon; so i suggest a switch to Rhydon > Probopass. The key difference between Rhydon and probopass is that huge defense on both sides with eviolite, not to mention a much more suitable typing when taking on the likes of Archeops / Tauros / Kangaskhan. It does lack the passive recovery in Leftovers which probopass gets, but only being x2 weak to ground coverage is crucial since it doesnt flat out die to the most common coverage moves for those pokemon respectively. In fact, it has the bulk to not be 3hkoed by this coverage thanks to high hp + defenses and eviolite. It also functions as a mixed wall meta check, a switchin to anything really. Running megahorn in the last slot allows you to not allow Lilligant and Ludicolo settup oppurtuinities, to psuedo check malamar (not the most reliable check ever though) and to not give claydol reliable spin oppurtuinities either (or roosting xatu lol).

The next change is more to the view with Fake Out spam, and to make the team as effective as possible in an offensive sense. Fake Out spam goes like butter on toast with Toxic Spikes, and due to being awfully weak to Lilligant, a swap to Garbodor > Sawk would be a choice that not only finished out a solid defensive core (lilligant, shiftry and pawn checked ), but looked towards bringing synergy into the main Offensive Core as well. Garbodor is a reliable Toxic Spikes setter, grass resist and secondary fighting resist (putting all your eggs in one basket to deal with the likes of sawk is risky D:). Running Spikes on Garbodor forces defogs more so than running normal hazards control would normally. This is because with Dual Fake Out people will need to spin / defog in order to make sure they dont just lose the likes of kangaskhan and persian, which force huge amounts of switches considering fake out is the essence of free damage, right next to hazards, so it would only make sense to use both on one team.

Finally just come some things i think you should look at. Admittedly, Garbodor isnt the best Lilligant check ever (spdef does ok, but its the worse set really) so running a Bulky Assault Vest Kangaskhan > Silk Scarf might be something you want to consider, to take +1 giga drains and ko / do damage back. Also running Signal Beam > Baton Pass and Psyshock > Psychic on Musharna would be a nice idea. Signal Beam is just so your team is less weak to general Dark Type switchins such as Liepard, and Psyshock so you have another way (apart from the pressured garbodor) to beat CM Mega Audino 1v1.
