My twin sister and her boyfriend have been dating for about a year, but their relationship has been on a steady decline, culminating in an argument between the two. They're definitely still together, but I doubt it will last much longer. I think he's become jealous of a new friend she met at a party. They met a while back at a party I was at and bonded over our similar tastes in music. Her boyfriend is super insecure and keeps bringing up suspicions with me that she is seeing other men, and has mentioned that other guy from the party. It's a weird situation because after we started drinking but before we left the party, the guy and I got really flirty and he gave me his phone number (he got confused and thought he gave it to me already), so I have a pretty good feeling he isn't interested in women. I find it really hard to blame my sister's boyfriend for being insecure though, this guy from the party (who drunkenly added his contact to my phone as "MAMP") seems like stiff, well-endowed competition. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a Pre-Contributor on Smogon. With all that said, there's a feeling in the back of my mind that if I text this guy back, I might break my sister's heart. I've never been in a situation like this and I'm not super familiar with how to handle it. What should I do? Help me Smogoff!
