Fast & Ferocious
Aero (Skarmory) (F) @ Rocky Helmet/Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 202 Def / 60 Spe
Impish Nature
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Whirlwind
A staple for any Hyper Offensive team is a trap setter. I originally had Ferrothorn here but I found myself having trouble with pokemon setting up while I set traps so I opted to Skarmory for Whirlwind. Iron head to take care of any possible Mega-Diancie’s and Stealth Rock and Spikes to set up traps and put pressure on the other team, making it easier to sweep with the other pokemon. The speed EV’s are there to out speed 0 speed Heatran so that you can set up SR and a layer of spikes. I have experimented with both Leftovers and Rocky Helmet and have found myself liking Rocky Helmet to add a little damage to pokemon since Skarmory is mostly a suicide lead.
Category 7 (Tornadus-Therian) @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Sludge Wave
- U-turn
The only pokemon on my team that is SR weak doesn’t mind it, or the recoil from Life Orb, because of Regenerator. Plenty of speed makes this guy outspeed many threats. Hurricane to take out fighting types and grass types as well as provide top power STAB. Heat Wave is there mostly for steal and grass types such as Bisharp and Ferrothorn. Sludge wave is to take out Fairies. U-turn lets me get out and keep momentum when I am expecting a switch.
Vap (Bisharp) (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Defiant
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 160 HP / 252 Atk / 96 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance
Standard EV spread and Lum Berry to get rid of any possible burns that make him basically useless. Swords Dance lets me boost on obvious switch outs. Sucker punch for priority and Knock Off for utility. Iron Head provides more stab and coverage for rock and fairy types.
Blightling (Keldeo) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind
- Hidden Power [Grass]
Keldeo gives me a powerful special attacker as well as an answer to many pokemon. Hydro Pump over scald for maximum damage and to hit fire types such as support Talonflame, Charizard, Darmanitan, Infernape as well as ground or rock types. Secret Sword rounds out STAB moves and does massive damage to ferrothorn or normal types like Chancey, Blisset, Mega-Loppony and Mega-Kanga. Icy Wind lets me slow down possible threats like Tornadus and get double weakness on Landorous and Gliscor as well hit dragons hard. HP Grass lets me hit water types like Azumarill, Rotom-Wash, Starmie and other Rain Team pokemon.
Quicksilver (Garchomp) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge/Rock Slide
- Outrage/Dragon Claw
- Fire Blast
Pretty standard ScarfChomp set. Earthquake and Stone Edge give great average, some STAB, and tons of power. Rock Slide can be chosen over Stone Edge if you want something more accurate with the chance to cause flinches. I chose Outrage to cause maximum damage since I’m locked into my move with Choice Scarf anyways. If you prefer Dragon Claw over Outrage that is an option instead. I carry Fire Blast here to help cover Ferrothorn.
Fallon (Lopunny) (F) @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
Shiny: Yes
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Frustration/Retaliate
- Fake Out
One of my favorite additions to the Hyper Offensive playstyle: Mega Lopunny! Fake Out lets me get some free damage on every switch-in as well as provide protection and priority while I wait on the boost in speed from mega evolving. Frustration is there for powerful stab and in place of Return in case of Dittos. Alternately you can use Retaliate if you want a great revenge killer. Drain Punch gives stab and dark coverage as well as a form recovery. Ice Punch is there just for overall coverage, and Mega-Loppuny’s great speed makes it a great option to take out many dragon types.
Threat List:
Talonflame: If Garchomp dies I don’t have many options to kill it and Priority Brave Bird wrecks shop on most pokemon in general.
Azumaril: Belly Drum sets really hurt, especially if they carry superpower as it can easily kill both Tornadus and Bisharp, my main counters.
Mega-Metagross: It kills.
