Fast Paced Action *Retired

Introduction:

This is a UU team which brought me great success. I got it to 1500 in 3 different files. 1500 is a great accomplishment but hell I moved on to Suspect and OU for a while. I might need a couple of nitpicks if I was to resume playing with this again.

Ambipom @ Silk Scarf
Adamant
EV: 252 Atk / 6 Def / 252 Speed

-Fake Out
-Double Hit
-U-Turn
-Taunt

Description: Ambipom lead is always amazing. Adamant is needed because the guys that normally outspeed me, not named Mismagius, is no problem to me. Jolly is preferred option if Raikou or Staraptor wasn't banned. The more power the better. Fake Out + Double Hit + Silk Scarf are my main moves to revenge kill and make noise. U-Turn removes focus sash and destroys Psychic leads which is a pest. Taunt is for slower leads and prevent them from dropping SR which is a must.

Mismagius @ Leftovers
Timid
EV: 108 HP / 180 SpA / 220 Spe

-Substitute
-Calm Mind
-Shadow Ball
-Hidden Power [Fight]

Description: Mismagius is probably one of the biggest threat in terms of sweeping in UU right now. Timid and 220 Speed is to outspeed 115 base and beneficial natured 100's. The EV's are ripped straight from smogon, because face it it's the most effective spread. Shadow Ball + Hidden Power [Fight] provide excellent coverage. It shouldn't have a problem dropping one sub since it has great immunities.

Shaymin @ Life Orb
Timid
EV: 32 HP / 252 SpA / 220 Speed

-Air Slash
-Earth Power
-Seed Flare
-Synthesis

Desciption: A brutal sweeper when your not prepared. This guy handles bulky waters nicely. The EV's are designated to cushion in incoming attacks from Bulky Waters. It hits 320 speed which is good enough to outspeed the things that are needed. Air Slash / Seed Flare provide great STAB moves and there's hax that comes with these attacks which is great. Earth Power gives me coverage and HP [Fire] is no longer needed for Crobat. Synthesis heals 50% and it is great. Rest is tempting but Rest and switching out not my my style, I like it fast paced, no homo.

Miltoic @ Leftovers
Bold
EV: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD

-Surf
-Toxic
-Ice Beam / HP [Electric]
-Recover

Description: You almost need a bulky water in each team. The reason is Typhlosion. My first pokemon I always think off the to stop SpecsTyphlosion or ScarfTyphlosion which is a big threat if Ambipom is gone. Surf / Ice Beam is good coverage, but If I remember SubAzumarill screwed me over. I had HP [Electric] at one time but I stayed with Ice Beam and played around with the switches. Toxic is great offensive move to damage and wear downs walls since this pokemon lacks fast paced moves. Toxc / Recover acts as my fast paced action move.

Marowak @ Thick Club
Adamant
EV: 252 HP / 220 Def / 38 SpD

-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Double Edge

Description: Marowak is my main electric switch in. Adamant is to boost my attack power. I have no EVs invested in attack, but your probably baffled. W / o invested I hit 430 attack and face it .. that is still alot. I stay true to my fast paced action, but I don't know anyone that could lay rocks and be a versatile pokemon on the offensive side. The Defensive spread gives me this 324 / 311 / 205, Hp/Def/SpD, enough to soak in attacks while being a versatile attacker. This guy finally fends of Ice Beam's from Claydol and strike back with Double Edge, which is probably my main switch in for this guy. Earthquake / Stone Edge provides good coverage, Double Edge with Rock Head is good to finish the blow and it lol's at overpredictors.

Primeape @ Choice Scarf
Adamant
EV: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Speed

-Close Combat
-Punishment
-Stone Edge
-U-Turn

Desciption: I needed a strong scouter replacement for Staraptor. This guy has no problem when he switches to Sleep Moves which is great for a scouter. This guy finishes games and sticks around for the longest time. SR resist is also amazing this guy is my most common switch in. It works well with Ambipom as a revenge killer and switch in and out. The EV's are designated to pump up more health to this guy and 220 speed is enough to outspeed certain things. Max attack for more damage. Close Combat / Punishment are excellent moves for coverage. Stone Edge adds more coverage and hits flying types hard which is a must. U-Turn is my most abused.

Have a good rate and I might add a threat list or bulding process another time.

The most obvious change needed here is to Marowak's EV spread (what a waste!). I'm assuming the specific defensive EVs have a purpose, so I'd suggest changing to 252 HP / 108 Atk / 108 Def / 38 SpD Impish. This gives you the same defenses but 16 more Attack points, so there's no reason not to change. Still, I can't help but feel that you're wasting Marowak's potential with such little attack investment. You lose out on some cool 2HKOs against stuff like Slowbro and said Claydol with SR support, albeit second time round with itself providing the support. I can see of benefits of greater bulk though; it gives you more assurance against strong Rock and/or Ground types, and tanking those Facade / T-Wave / Encore Clefables that your team otherwise appears to have issues with.

Your Milotic spread is also a little inefficient. Try 252 HP / 208 Def / 48 SpD Calm for more special defense, or 252 HP / 236 Def / 20 SpD Calm for more Defense at no cost to your other stats. Definitely HP Electric over Ice Beam as like you said, SubPunch Azumarill gives you major problems, but consider a more physically defensive build as those Focus Punches hurt an awful lot. In fact, if you're ok with 430 Attack on Marowak, consider throwing the spare EVs into speed, plus a few more borrowed from Defense. 48 speed EVs allows you to outrun base 50s that run no more than the 4 remaining EVs. This includes SubPunch Azu, but also most Hariyamas and Chansey, the latter whom Marowak is great at exploiting. You wouldn't want to have to come in at less than 200 HP and end up 2HKO'd by Seismic Toss now, would you?

Don't post a team building process. It's obvious you spent little time on this team, because as it is Roserade absolutely destroys you. NOTHING comes in safely, and even Primeape does not want to switch in on Leaf Storm or Slidge Bomb.

I understand Punishment is for Mismagius, but Fire Punch would work better. Stone Edge already dents Missy, and you can use Fire Punch to always kill Roserade.

I don't see what Marowak does here. Without Attack EVs you might as well jump - 480 means that stuff like Tauros does better at sweeping, and Uxie is always the ultimate supporter, so try one of those over Marowak.

Actually, Ice Punch would be better because it also covers the Nidos and Flying types, especially Altaria, who can be very annoying for this team, especially if not running Ice Beam on Milotic. It's always nice to have that extra assurance and ease of prediction against Pokemon that resist your main STAB.
