Hello. ShirakuHikao here with another team I have made.

I will not call my team "disgusting" because it is not stall, but I will call it "tough to face".

The Team:

tumblr_n2nnk2FTGy1rjenv2o1_500.gif

Jirhaxi (Jirachi) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 176 SpD / 80 Spe
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Wish
- Body Slam

I wanted to base a team around a SpD. ParaFlinch Jirachi. It's disgusting but you gotta do what you have to do to win, right? (this phrase has nothing to do with stall ofcourse. Stall is disgusting).

The given EV spread allows it to outspeed Adamant Diggersby, non-positive 70 Spe. mons, and Jolly Tyranitar. The given SpD. spread allows it to take hits from Lati@s and Gardevoir pretty well.

Stealth Rock is chosen because Jirachi has lots of opportunities to set-up them. Iron Head combined with Body Slam hits very hard, as it's main STAB move, while leaving the opponent with a high chance of not being able to move. Wish is to heal it and other teammates (I know that 5/6 `mons in my team have reliable recovery, but it's still good for switch-ins).

tumblr_mvgd2syUIE1rzc6evo1_500.gif

Queefable (Clefable) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 172 Def / 88 SpD
Calm Nature
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Thunder Wave
- Fire Blast

Clefable is one of the best `mons in OU. As shown in the picture above, it just doesn't give a fuck about most of the dangerous `mons out there. It is so good for the metagame, being able to check Mega Fighting types, Dark types and the very common Dragon types.

The given Special Defense and HP investment along with a Calm nature allow Clefable to, most of the time, avoid the 2HKO from Mild Life Orb Kyurem-B's Ice Beam, Thundurus's Thunderbolt, Mega Diancie's Moonblast, and Mega Manectric's Thunderbolt. The given Defense and HP investment allow Clefable to avoid the 2HKO from Jolly Mega Lopunny's Return, Latios's Psyshock, and Jolly Mega Gyarados's Waterfall, as well as the OHKO from Choice Band Scizor's Bullet Punch (what to do... Smogon explains it way better than I will ever be able to...).

It also provides me yet another switch-in for Mega Medicham and some fighting types, while scaring them with a Moonblast at the same time.

uSlow, bro? (Slowbro) @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 232 Def / 28 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Calm Mind
- Slack Off

Originally it was Raikou but I had problems with Fire types so I changed it to Slowbro. Slowbro provies me a very good tank, being one of the only switch-ins for Mega Medicham (that doesn't carry Thunder Punch), a check for Excadrill and even more `mons of the physical side, and threatening Keldeo with a potential Psyshock. It also provides me yet another win condition, with Calm Mind.

8f608b5a6bd1a75e9fd4e066b58bd3188c9d50ad_hq.gif

Plantosaurus (Venusaur-Mega) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 248 HP / 96 Def / 144 SpD / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Synthesis

Mega Venusaur is one amazing tank. Over 300 in both defenses, with an excellent typing - resisting common types and taking less damage from two of it's weaknesses thank to Thick Fat, leaving it with weaknesses only to Flying and Psychic, which my team can handle pretty decently. It gives me yet another switch-in for Bisharp, who my team was pretty weak for.

On the offensive side, Mega Venusaur has a high base 122 SpA. and two hard hitting STAB moves. With Hidden Power [Fire], it lures it's common switch-ins.

Clayscore (Gliscor) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 8 Def / 200 SpD / 56 Spe
Careful Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Roost

Almost every good laddering teams requires Gliscor. It's pontential against Stall and Balanced is incredible. It can easily set-up and murded a stall team once their Unaware `mon and Skarmory is gone. On Balanced teams, it can set-up on defensive Landorus-T, Magic Guard Clefable (not having Ice Beam), Mega Sableye (without Foul Play and after Toxic Orb is activated), Chansey and more.

Swords Dance is to increase it's potential of sweeping an entire team. Earthquake is a mandatory, strong STAB move. Knock Off is to deal against Eviolite users or just hitting the flying ones. Roost is a mandatory reliable recovery.

tumblr_nbk2z6DDcK1qbmz7eo1_500.gif

Latinas (Latias) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Roost
- Defog
- Psyshock

A bulky latias provides me a pretty much safe switch-in for Mega Charizard-Y and Keldeo. It also can tank hits from other `mons pretty, well, by providing defog support and has a reliable recovery.

Dragon Pulse and Psyshock are 2 STAB moves. Dragon Pulse was preffered over Draco Meteor because without SpA. investing, Draco Meteor doesn't do well what it's supposted to, while still lowing your SpA. stat, giving other `mons opportunity to set-up.

As for now, I only see Hoopa-U problematic, though I can handle him sometimes.

Thank you so much for reading by far! I would be more that happy to hear your opinions on the team!

Hey ShirakuHikao, nice team! Your team is very weak to fire types, especially ones that Gliscor can't stop. Mandibuzz does not do much for your team so I suggest Mandibuzz
mandibuzz.png
---> Starmie
starmie.png
While this does leave you weaker to Hoopa-Unbound, you can do Gliscor
gliscor.png
---> Landorus-T
landorus-therian.png
. Landorus helps deal with Hoopa, especially physical variants while still being a defensive check the same Pokemon. Landorus does not have reliable recovery but you can pass wishes with Jirachi. If you choose to run Stealth Rock on Landorus, this frees up a moveslot on Jirachi for Protect or Fire Punch.

Sets:
Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Psyshock / Reflect Type

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers / Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge / Knock Off
- Stealth Rock

However, if I change my Mandibuzz to Starmie and Gliscor to Landorus-T, Bisharp straight up 6-0s my team :(

Bisharp is one of the few reasons why I have Mandibuzz, which can't handle it as much I wanted as well. Starmie will just give Bisharp a free kill and Landorus-T will raise Bisharp's attack so yeh :(

I need to find a way to deal with Bisharp though, as the only time I lost with this team is by a Bisharp haha.

You're right about my Fire weakness. By far, Gliscor and Raikou helped me with the Fire types, however this doesn't change my Fire weakness. I also need to find a way to handle those.

Hi, nice m venu squad u got there, but there are many mons which just run through ur team without much effort. Ok, at first ill list some threats so we can see what mons are really good against u:

- Mega CharizardX (adamant or WoW)
- every Heatran set
- Hoopa if rocks are up
- Volcarona
- SD scizor
- manapy
- Mega charizard Y
- Mega Metagross with rocks up or Thunderpunch
- Nasty Plot thundurus
- Talonflame ( taunt/wow, bulk up )
- Victini
- Weavile ( clef weakened or poison jab variants )
and many things more.

As you can see Fire types in general are a huge weakness. So id suggest a Latios over Raikou as i cant see a reason for raikou to be in this team at all.

Latios helps in many ways and beats many pokemon which wud be an issue otherwise ( zardy, manaphy, suicune, thundurus etc etc) ill add some sets later and explain the purpose of them.

Next is ur still high weakness against Fire types
Thats why id suggest you to run heatran over gliscor. It checks talon, zard and its actually pretty good against Waters too. Heatran + m venu is a rly good core in general and u can run a pasho berry or a powerherb solarbeam set to surprise and beat the water types. Also it gets sr which is rly nice

At next i'd switch ur clefable set to a supporter set just as KidMagic mentioned. It helps against manaphy and set up sweepers in General ( unaware ) and it Provides wish support for the Rest of ur Team.

Now that u have a wisher already id suggest skarmory over jirachi. Skarmory gets Spikes which are really good on Teams like yours. Also it gets defog which Supports ur Team as well. Defog, Spikes Skarm isnt as Bad as it sounds, just try it out.
At last, id suggest u a manaphy for your last spot. Nearly everything mandobuzz counters is checked otherwise and a Bulky water really helps ur Team in many ways and its a wincon too.

With a team like that u r pretty weak against Hoopa but rocks/spikes will pressure it and if its choiced you have switchins to its Single attacks. Also it cant switch in for free all the time on venu and Mana because sludge bomb and scald have a potential to cripple it and to lower its life-lenght.

Well then, ill add the Sets tmrw, im too tired rn haha. Hope i helped :)

After experimenting with your team I noticed that things like Nasty Plot Thundurus, Psychic Manaphy, setup sweepers in general can easily run through your team, like you said on the OP. To alleviate this I suggest you simply change Clefable's Ability to Unaware and use the TWave Support Set. This gives you a buffer against setup sweepers so they can't easily dent your team and gives your slow team Speed Control for threats such as Volcarona and Mega Charizard X.

After testing viable alternatives to have another WinCondition, Slowbro > Raikou seemed to fit the best. It also gives you another Keldeo switch-in who can wear down Mega Venusaur over time. It also gives you a chance against some Victini variants who just devastates your team, especially the Special Lure set. Slowbro can take advantage of choice locked physical Victini and walls Special Sets lacking Thunder and Grass Knot / Energy Ball.

Mega Charizard Y now presents itself as a problem, so I can only suggest the possibility of Defensive Latias > Mandibuzz. Slowbro and Gliscor can easily take on Physical attackers without the help of Mandibuzz quite easily. To make sure Bisharp doesn't steamroll you I belive you could try Defensive Mega Venusaur. It can tank attacks from Bisharp and 2HKO it back with Hidden Power Fire and a solid check to Bisharp.

Hi!

Made your changes, they're very awesome. It lets my team take more hits! A huge shoutout to you, sir!

I am gonna add credits section and update the thread as well, adding your changes, as soon I get back home :).

Hoopa-U may be a little problem but it can be stalled out of Life Orbs, and if it's not Life Orb, I am pretty sure my defensive `mons can handle it. Depending on it's set, ofcourse.

Hey,really nice team however it have some flaws but i'll try to fix them.

There are many threats for your team, Charizard-X which can sweep if Gliscor is weaken. Special fire attacker like Zard-Y,Volcarona and Heatran. M-Metagross and Thundurus(Nasty Plot variant).

I'd recommend to use a Choice Scarf Tyranitar over your Mandibuzz. Tyranitar allow you to trapkill Gengar,Lati@s which can be annoying for M-Venusaur,helping against Hoopa-U (need pivoting between Gliscor and other mon), can handle very well Heatran/Volcarona (even at +1,Bug Buzz can't kill Tyranitar) and Zard-Y (pivoting to force him to Fire Blast,Solar beam). It can also revenge kill Thundurus and pressure him by using Pursuit. Superpower is used to revenge kill SD Bisharp which seem pretty annoying for your team.

I'd suggest also to use Slowbro over Clefable. Slowbro will help you with Zard-X. I changed Clefable because other mon are too much important for the team : Gliscor work as Bisharp check and as Ground resistence/immunity, Jirachi work as a steel type which can set the rocks. Raikou as Talonflame/Tornadus-T check which are annoying for M-Venusaur and as secondary Manaphy check.

Your team look like pretty weak to M-Scizor,i'd suggest to use Fire Punch over Wish on Jirachi which will allow you to revenge kill him with ease.

Your team is very nice and balanced, but there is one thing off: Clefable.

Your 2 mandatory options are Moonblast & T-wave, so your 2 last slots need to contain a sort of healing and extra. So I recommend one of the two: Either Wish + Protect, or Moonlight + Heal Bell. Heal Bell is a really good move that can help your team stay alive longer throughout the game because it can remove things like a toxic on slowbro or a burn on Mega Venusaur. It can be very useful sometimes. Wish + Protect is not only a very consistent recovery with a lot of PP, but it also allow Clefable to wishpss to stuff like Jirachi or Mega Venusaur when they're low.
