Fat Man's Relay-First OU Trick Room Team

300px-579Reuniclus.png

Reuniclus @ life orb
Magic Gaurd
IV 31 SpA/3Spe (trying to get 0)
Quiet
192 Hp/64 Def/ 252 SpA
Trick Room
Psyschock
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball ------recover

He is one of the 2 trick roomers on this team and the main idea behind it. Reuniclus is an absolute powerhouse behind trick room. The Idea is to switch in against someone he can set up against and start sweeping. In this case I have him as the lead, but Im not sold on him leading yet. As for the set quiet nature and 31 SpA IV maximizes Special attack and minimizes speed. Psyschock is there for a powerful stab that does physical damage, surprising the special walls that may get switched in. Focus Blast will take care of dark types that scare him, and shadow ball will take care of other psychics and ghosts. Magic guard allows safe switch-ins.

Abomasnow @focus sash
snow warning
Quiet
252SpA/114Atk/112Hp
Wood Hammer
Blizzard
Ice Shard
Hp Fire

The mixed attacker and weather inducer. Abomasnow's relatively low speed and decent attack/SpA make him a great mixed attacker with a potential to revenge kill with the focus sash. Wood hammer will do good damage, but will have to be used after the sash is used. Blizzard is the strong STAB attack of the set, and ice shard is a good priority when needed. HP fire will chase off things that hurt abomasnow like scizor. Snow warning will give hail support.

Above replaced with: will insert pic later.

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Bold
Rain Dish/ Liquid Ooze
252 HP/ 240 Def/ 16 Spe
-Scald
-Toxic Spikes
-Rapid Spin
-Ice Beam/Protect

conkeldurr.jpg

Conkeldurr @ toxic orb
Guts
Brave
224 HP/252 Atk/32SpD
Drain punch
Mach punch/stone edge
Payback
Facade

Conkeldurr will thrive in the trick room environment due to his low speed and his monstrous attack. Guts and brave nature will maximize his attack. Drain punch is a must on this set since he will be poisoned potentially in hail. Mach punch is a good STAB priority, but I fell stone edge may be better for the likes of gyrados and salamance. Payback is there to deal with ghost types and potentially faster foes. Facade will do tons of damage since he is under a status condition.

Dusklops @ Evolite
Calm
252Hp/80def/176SpD
Trick room
WoW/Pain split
Night Shade
Ice Beam

The second trick roomer on the team. His bulkiness will allow at least on setup. Wow is there to cripple anything I find threatening. Night shade is going to be his best attack, by the odd chance I have to actually attack with him. Ice beam is there for coverage and freezing. I have WoW over pain split because I dont have access to the move tutor in HG right now, but if i can get to him I will put in pain split for the recovery move. He can also be used as a spin blocker.

Ferrothorn@ leftovers
Relaxed
252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Spikes
Leech seed
T-Wave/protect
Power whip

I was thinking about using this guy as a lead instead of reuniclus. I figured under trick room I can send him in and set up spikes with ease. Anything that is too scary can be paralyzed and seeded. Power whip is there for those taunters that lurk around the corners.

terrakion_by_pokedex_himori-d31fdbz.png

Terrakion @ air balloon
Adamant
252Atk/252Spe/4HP
Close combat
Stone Edge
Sacred sword--------rock polish
x scissor

He is pretty much a backup just in case I can't get a Trick room set up on something. I gave him an adamant nature and kept his speed Ev's to insure that he is pretty fast out of trick room and can maybe still go first in trick room against max speed foes. Close combat, stone edge, and sacred sword are all good STAB moves and x scissor will complete the set will good coverage.

This is just an outline of a team I have on paper, I have not actually made the team yet so I am open to suggestions/ changes. Thanks in advance.

This team looks ok. I have to question:why Abomasnow? If you need harmful weather Tyranitar is the far superior option. If SpA is what you need, Tar has that as well. If you really want to keep Abomasnow then by all means do, but otherwise change to T-Tar.
You seem to be pretty weak to VolTurn. I don't really know how you handle it. This team is really weak to SD Scizor, as TR doesn't affect priority and the only real counter you have is Ferrothorn, which can be removed via Heatran or Magnezone, two common Scizor accomplices. To fix this, I would replace Dusclops, Abomasnow, or Terrakion with...

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Bold
Rain Dish/ Liquid Ooze
252 HP/ 240 Def/ 16 Spe
-Scald
-Toxic Spikes
-Rapid Spin
-Ice Beam/Protect

This should patch up the Scizor problem and also give you a source of much frustration for your opponents via Toxic Spikes.

Use Recover on Reuniclus over Shadow Ball, it won't be as useful. I would also consider Rock Polish on Terrakion over Sacred Sword, as he can come in on a ground move, set up, and sweep.
I would also reccomend testing this team, since it may have weaknesses you couldn't find looking at it.
Have fun, and good luck!

There was no real reson for abomasnow, I just saw that he would be a decent mixed attacker for the team, but i do like the addaition of tentacruel with toxic spikes and rapid spin so I will replace abomasnow for him. As for testing is there a way to do so without building the team on the DS? Because i am at school right now and have no way to connect to wifi.

Most people here use Pokemon Online, which is a web-based competitive pokemon simulator. It lets you build and test any team you could think of against other people. Google it, but it may not work if you're at school.
