Favourite In-Battle Moments

My favorite moment is a bit hard to choose (the time my Metagross 1HKOd a Deoxys-S with Bullet Punch was good) but it would have to be the time I let my Charizard, Fly Away, massacre the opposition. This was the first time I had used Fly Away. He switches into a Pokemon he can easily sweep, in this case a Metagross with 4% HP, and when they switch, he uses Substitute. When they break the Substitute, he uses Belly Drum. Because I’ve made sure his HP is a multiple of 4, this activates his Salac Berry. Now, he has max Attack, enormous Speed and, now I think about it, Blaze. He then massacres the enemy. Even though in this case there is a Sandstorm, limiting his reign of terror to a few turns, he can still reap enormous havoc. Here is his crowning glory…

Fly Away's substitute faded!
The sandstorm rages.
Fly Away is buffetted by the sandstorm!
Fly Away lost 6% of its health.
Fly Away's Salac Berry raised its speed!

YES!!! Sweeping time!!!

Fly Away used Earthquake.
Swampert lost 100% of its health.
Duskiller's Swampert fainted.
The sandstorm rages.
Fly Away is buffetted by the sandstorm!
Fly Away lost 6% of its health.

Aaaaah, first blood.

Duskiller switched in Metagross (lvl 100 Metagross).
Fly Away used Fire Punch.
It's super effective!
Metagross lost 4% of its health.
Duskiller's Metagross fainted.
The sandstorm rages.
Fly Away is buffetted by the sandstorm!
Fly Away lost 6% of its health.

Another one bites the dust...

Duskiller switched in Gliscor (lvl 100 Gliscor ♂).
Fly Away used Fire Punch.
Fly Away's attack missed!
Gliscor used Roost.
But it failed!
The sandstorm rages.
Fly Away is buffetted by the sandstorm!
Fly Away lost 1% of its health.

Aaaah, I HATE Brightpowder. Shouldn't it be banned by the Evasion Clause? That is pure forgetfulness. Fear not, Fly Away, you did not faint in vain…
That is my favorite moment.
 
My Cradily survived a Gengar's Explosion from about half health with 4 HP left, and I Recovered off the damage.


Later in that same battle, my Cradily was one-on-one Aromatherapy Blissey. Normally, this type of siutuation is basically an instant win for Cradily because of Toxic, so I was setting up to stall it and put some damage pressure on it. The last turn went like this.

My Cradily had a little over 200 HP left. His Blissey was at about 75%.

Bob used Rock Slide! (~20% or so).
BLISSEY used Counter!

FUCK!!!!!

My favorite moment was when I Pika sweeped a whole team with the Pichu in my thread
 
I don't have a log, but always Counter Bliss. I was against Garchomp. My Slowbro was dead so I thought "Why not use counter?" Garchomp used Dragon Claw and I survived with about 40% Health remaining, and counter killed it.

I know that would have worked equally well with Ice beam, but counter is always more fun.
