This team is based around finding the perfect opportunity to bring in Buzzwole and get that amazing +3 in attack and +1 in defense, cleaning everything in its wake. I gave it max SpDef with an assault vest for maximum bulk, allowing it to actually set up on special attacking mons, most notably greninja.
Buzzwole @ Assault Vest
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Leech Life
- Ice Punch
- Fell Stinger
- Hammer Arm
Rotom is very versatile being that it's one of the best checks to flying types like Mega Pinsir and Togekiss, which Buzzwole is hopeless facing up against. Having will o wisp also allows for easy setup against huge physical threats like Scizor, Mega Metagross, and Flyinium Z Salamance.
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 220 HP / 240 Def / 32 SpA / 16 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Scarf Nihilego is essential to pair with Buzzwole because it checks so many of its weaknesses, and does so very well having such a high speed tier. Things like Volcarona and Tapu Koko have no chance, especially since Nihilego has such good special bulk without any investment.
Nihilego @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Power Gem
- Psyshock
Gastrodon is the team's reliable water resist and special wall. It can stall out with recover and try setting up on any other setup mons. Although it doesn't resist much for Buzzwole, it does help out a lot in supporting the rest of the team. It being only weak to grass means that it lures in many grass threats for Buzzwole to deal with, like AV tangrowth, Kartana, and Mega Venasaur.
Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 52 Def / 200 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Recover
- Curse
- Scald
- Earthquake
Heatran serves as the "Wall all" Pokémon. It's a great Fire/Fairy/Psychic resist, walling things like Tapu Lele almost entirely. It's fire immunity is very important because nothing else can afford to take a will o wisp, except maybe gastrodon. It also lures in ground types that Buzzwole switches into no problem.
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Magma Storm
- Toxic
- Protect
Bisharp's main purpose is to make sure that a defog never goes unpunished and to trap in psychic and ghost types who Buzzwole can do nothing against. It also has taunt just so nothing can set up on us, and we don't have anything with haze or whirlwind to prevent that.
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Taunt
- Pursuit
Btw this is my first real time posting, I'm not going to explain every little detail or alternates to each set, that's for you all to decide. ;)
