[OVERVIEW]

* Feraligatr has the ability to fire off powerful Life Orb-boosted attacks without taking recoil due to Sheer Force.
* It has access to both Swords Dance and Dragon Dance with a viable Speed tier to make use of both.
* Feraligatr is one of the strongest physical Water-type sweepers.
* It possesses decent natural bulk to help facilitate a sweep.
* However, Feraligatr lacks setup opportunities in an offensive meta like UU.
* It is also hard to fit on teams due to its type stacking with many of the current UU staples such as Keldeo and Tentacruel.

[SET]

nature: Adamant / Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Dragon Dance allows Feraligatr to boost its already powerful Attack as well as its Speed at the same time.
* Waterfall is a mandatory Sheer Force-boosted STAB move that deals a good amount of damage to most Pokemon that don't resist it.
* Crunch is a Sheer Force-boosted attack that hits many Water-resistant Pokemon for neutral damage.
* Ice Punch allows Feraligatr to break through Grass-types in addition to also being boosted by Sheer Force.

Set Details
========

* Running maximum Speed with an Adamant nature allows Feraligatr to hit harder in exchange for being outsped by Jolly Bisharp before a boost.
* A Jolly nature allows Feraligatr to outpace Swellow and Crobat after one Dragon Dance.
* The rest of the EVs go into Attack to maximize Feraligatr's damage output.
* Life Orb is mandatory due to it being an invaluable source of power that doesn't require taking any recoil when paired with Sheer Force.

Usage Tips
========

* If a sweep late-game seems possible, it's best to conserve Feraligatr's health. However, if this is not the case, it can still function as a powerful wallbreaker with decent natural bulk.
* If Feraligatr comes in early-game, it's usually better to attempt to wallbreak rather than go for a sweep.
* Late-game, try to facilitate a sweep by setting up on Pokemon such as Latias at -2 Special Attack and unboosted Cobalion.
* Setting up on bulky Water-types is easy to do, but it should be noted that most won't get KOed by a +1 Crunch, and Feraligatr is at risk of being burned by Scald.
* Make use of VoltTurn support to bring Feraligatr in safely to set up or punch holes in the opposing team.

Team Options
========

* Feraligatr appreciates having an Electric-type switch-in that can support it, such as Latias with Healing Wish or Amoonguss with Spore, to help facilitate a sweep.
* Having Memento support as well as a Grass-type switch-in like Chandelure is also nice for aiding a sweep.
* Grass-type switch-ins that can also offer opportunities for Feraligatr to come in for free such as U-turn Scizor are ideal partners for Feraligatr.
* Alolan Ninetales can help to facilitate a sweep with Aurora Veil support.
* Spikes are great to wear down Feraligatr's checks, so Pokemon like Klefki, which also resists Grass-type moves, are great partners.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Agility Feraligatr with three attacks is an option thanks to its already high Attack and Sheer Force-boosted moves.
* With access to Swords Dance, Feraligatr can use a wallbreaking set with Aqua Jet / Waterfall / Crunch / Swords Dance and a Jolly nature. However, Crawdaunt performs this role a lot better.
* Substitute is an option over Ice Punch in order to facilitate a sweep against bulky Water-types a lot more easily; however, this gives up a way to hit Grass-types super effectively.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dragon-types**: Dragon-types such as Hydreigon and Latias can switch into Feraligatr's Waterfall and threaten it with their powerful STAB moves. However, they do not appreciate switching into Ice Punch, and Latias does not take a Crunch well either.

**Water-types**: Most Water-types are able to take a hit from even a boosted Feraligatr and threaten it back; bulky ones like Suicune and Volcanion are able to potentially burn it with Scald and Steam Eruption, respectively, while offensive ones are able to KO it back with hard-hitting attacks of their own. Primarina and Keldeo get special mentions for also resisting all of the common attacks that Feraligatr runs.

**Grass-types**: Grass-types like Celebi, Tsareena, and Amoonguss are able to take on unboosted Feraligatr with their super effective Grass-type STAB moves. Chesnaught, in particular, is also able to take a +1 Ice Punch and KO with Wood Hammer. However, Amoonguss must be at full health in order to check boosted Feraligatr.

**Fast Pokemon**: Raikou is a fast Electric-type that is able to outpace and easily revenge kill unboosted Feraligatr with its super effective STAB moves. Feraligatr at +1 is still outsped and revenge killed by Mega Aerodactyl and common Choice Scarf users like Hydreigon and Keldeo.

**Powerful Priority**: Feraligatr doesn't resist the most common forms of priority such Mach Punch and Extreme Speed, so its sweep is easily stopped by them after some prior damage.

There are no major problems, so I'll get to it right away
  • Slash Jolly for nature and add a short description for it in set details; Adamant doesn't outspeed Swellow and Crobat at +1, and is also slower than Jolly Bisharp before a boost.
  • Add usage tips on how to set Feraligatr in. Volt Switch and U-turn generally help with that.
  • Add when you are going to use Feraligatr the most to usage tips as well.
  • Team Options need to be expanded upon. It needs teammates to take on common Pokemon like Celebi and Amoonguss. It appreciates Spikes support. Aurora Veil Ninetales-Alola or Screens Klefki are also interesting partners for it.
  • Add Raikou to checks and counter.
  • Also mention its weakness to common priority there. Mach Punch, Sucker Punch and Extreme Speed can all stop its sweep cold.
That's it from me. After that, qc 1/3.

* Running a max speed Adamant nature offers you needed power in return for being out sped by Jolly Bisharp unboosted as well as Crobat and Swellow at +1.
* Jolly nature allows you to out pace jolly bisharp unboosted while out speeding Swellow and Crobat at +1

you should probably get rid of the speed explanation in the first bullet point since u mention it in the second and more relevant one anyway

for the most part all my suggestions are mainly grammar stuff that we worked on for the gigalith analysis. space out your c&c section too since its a bit hard to read. fix all this up and ill stamp

e: 2/3

Remove Alakazam mentions, and complete the intro sentences.

I wouldn't say "stall breaking" for the SD line, just say wall breaking I guess. Rest of it looks good, 3/3

I rewrote certain areas to make it more GP acceptable. Someone should edit this into the OP so we can actually put this into the GP queue. dodmen edit: did that
