Yo what's poppin tho. I'm Brendannn and this is a pretty cool hyper offense team I made feat. Agility Gatr. Agility Gatr has always been something I wanted to use after seeing good players like TheCanadianWifier and DMT use it. I call this team the "bad hyper offense simulator" because it's basic shitty hyper offense. I haven't got a chance to seriously ladder with this team yet but from the many times I have used this team I've had lots of fun and definitely didn't feel like I was majoring struggling against opponents. Without further ado let's get in to the squad.

Started with Agility Gatr because it seemed like a fun mon.

Looking for a Pokemon to pair with Gatr, Whimsicott came to mind. I haven't used it much this generation but it helped to beat the bulky waters that hindered Gatr's sweeping opportunities.

Added Forre because looking at calcs, hazard stack would definitely help my boi Gatr sweep through teams.

Mega Aerodactyl was added because it's Mega Aerodactyl. Soft checks 99 percent of the tier while also giving immediate power which the team currently lacked.

At this point I had the choice of either going offense or balance, and decided on offense. This meant I needed a Spinblocker, a revenge killer, and a wallbreaker. Scarfed Chandelure filled the first two rolls quite well.

The final Pokemon added was Heracross. I noticed I didn't have a lot of ways to break down Special Walls and Empoleon also gave this team hella trouble. Guts SD Heracross was perfect for this giving me a set up sweeper as well as making the opponent's team forced to fodder something almost every time this thing came in. With that, the squad was complete and haven't made any major changes since.

Onto the individual movesets :](edits and suggestions in red)

Feraligatr @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: NaN Atk
- Agility
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
Ah, the star of the show. Agility Gatr has been a set I have not regretted using. It's surprisingly very strong(calcs later). I just went with Max SpAtk and Max Speed because it hits an impressive 510 speed stat after an Agility, outpacing common scarfers like Darmanitan and Hydreigon. Scald is necessary STAB. Ice Beam hits obvious resists. Focus Blast hits a lot of special walls like Snorlax and Empoleon, two huge threats to the team otherwise. Overall this thing has proven it's worth and I'm glad I decided to build around it.

  • 252+ SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Feraligatr Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Assault Vest Snorlax: 213-252 (46.2 - 54.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
  • 252+ SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Feraligatr Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 120 SpD Filter Mega Aggron: 273-322 (79.3 - 93.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
  • 252+ SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Feraligatr Focus Blast vs. 236 HP / 0 SpD Mega Blastoise: 155-182 (43.2 - 50.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and 1 layer of Spikes
  • 252+ SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Feraligatr Focus Blast vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Swampert: 191-225 (47.6 - 56.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock, 1 layer of Spikes, and Leftovers recovery

Whimsicott @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: NaN Atk
- Moonblast
- Giga Drain
- Stun Spore/U-turn
- Encore

Whimsicott was added because it forms a nice offensive core with Feraligatr beating bulky waters that can potentially wall it. It also checks a shit ton of the tier. I've never actually used offensive Whimsicott but I haven't been disappointed. It's definitely not very strong but it can make the opponent switch a lot which is why I love Stun Spore. Whimsicott is an invitation for threats like Darmanitan and Nidoking which I can Stun Spore and slow them mofos down and pretty much eliminate them as threats to the team. Encore let's me check set up sweepers who are really threatening to hyper offense teams. While it is underwhelming in terms of attack, it's pure utility is enough to keep it on the team :].

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpAtk
Bold
Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch
My friend had recently used Custap Forre, but I wanted a more long-term mon rather than something that died turn 3 just for hazards. I really like defensive Forre on this team as it allows me to come in and spin later or get up hazards if they were removed. Suggested by Geopolitics, Gyro Ball has been changed to Volt Switch because any set up sweepers I can just click Volt Switch and go straight into the appropriate check or go into Whimsicott to click Encore. If you think Custap Forre or another option for a hazard setter would be better for the team, hmu. Just remember the calcs for Gatr where Spikes make a huge difference between a 2HKO and a 3HKO.

aerodactyl-mega.gif

Aerodactyl-Mega @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Aerial Ace
- Aqua Tail
- Roost
Aerodactyl is the mega of the team, and for good reason. It gave the team immediate power which it currently lacked while also giving me soft checks to a ton of the metagame(Crobat, Beedrill, etc.) The speed EVS let me outpace M-Beedrill and M-Sceptile as well as Standard Crobat and the rest is dumped into bulk to better check those mons. Aerodactyl also outspeeds Alakazam which is a huge threat to offensive teams. I decided on 3 attacks + Roost>2 Attacks + Taunt. The way I see it, Aerodactyl already threatens many defoggers and the ones it doesn't can usually 1v1 it(Empoleon). It can also confuse the opponent who may think my only two moves are Edge and Aqua Tail. Currently undecided on changing Aero to just max Atk max speed or keeping the current spread to have a bit more bulk.

chandelure.gif

Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: NaN Atk
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Trick
Scarf Chandelure I had spammed on the ladder in early XY. Idk why, I just really liked it :]. It fit this team almost perfectly because it provided a spinblocker and a revenge killer + speed control. Fire Blast and Shadow Ball are obligatory STABs and smack the tier really hard. Energy Ball hits Swampert and the occasional Quagsire. Trick is really useful against stallier teams where I can potentially cripple a mon for the entire match. The only problem with Chandelure is that it's frail and gets weakened down pretty quickly.

heracross.gif

Heracross @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- Facade/Stone Edge
SD Flame Orb Heracross. Absolutely fucking love this thing. Basically when this thing comes in it's lets play "choose ur fodder." Heracross also helps with my stall weakness as it completely shits on the majority of stall. I choose Jolly>Adamant because it speed ties with a lot of important shit in the tier like Kingdra and the Nidos. Also outspeeds non-Scarf Chandy. Close Combat is powerful STAB and if you're not a Crobat you're pretty much dead. Knock Off is Knock Off. Facade is a powerful 140 BP move which can be good for a person who can't predict worth shit(like me) and just wants to spam powerful moves. Stone Edge can also be used to catch Crobat on the switch. Facade still has a chance to OHKO after rocks anyways, so I prefer Facade.

So yeah, that's the squad. I'm open to suggestions(although would like to keep the same idea of the team without changing a whole lot). Feel free to spam this on the low ladder to get ez points.

nice team, nerd

1. I'd probably go volt switch on Forre because it gives you a really nice pivot against other Gators and Suicunes try and get in for free. Also, I feel as if the reasoning for Gyro is shaky because you can still just VS out on a mence if it uses DD and then encore it the next turn with Whim. Just a thought

2. Tbh go and speed on Aero because most are running close to/if not max speed now that Aero itself is so common, and I'm not too sure if it turns any 2hkos into 1hkos anyhow so you *should* be ok.

Other than that, amazing build as always :]

Not too set on Mega Aerodactyl yet, but definitely going to try out Volt Switch on Forretress. Thanks for the r8 nerd.

Hey CallMeBrendannn i was just looking through the team and even though I don't play a lot of UU, I noticed something a little odd. I don't really understand the use of Defensive Forretress on such an offensive team. It just seems like it's out of place and even with volt switch, it loses you a lot of offensive momentum. Custap Forretress will probably work better on this team as an effective anti-lead and also act as a way to reliably get up rocks, due to the fact that you already have a spinblocker. Hope I helped! (i just grabbed the spread off the bw analysis)
