Ooook. After the ''success'' of my Rain and Sun teams, i decided to post a team that actually makes sense.
Woo!
So, let's get started, and be sure tell me what do you think of my team, and what should i change. ^-^
Breloom (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
I decided to build my team around this guy, considering how much of a powerhouse he is after a Swords Dance, and even without one. Spore is mainly to put an opponent to sleep, and then, since the opponent is probably going to switch out, i have a free turn to Dance, and then i could just start destroying the world. I could do that, but this set, and Breloom itself, is pretty weak to every single Flying-type. So, in order to Dance and successfully kill things with Breloom, i first need to take out his threats. And, to do that....
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 28 Spe
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Thunder Wave
- Pain Split
...a washing machine! Wash Rotom makes a nice core with Breloom, and it helps him a lot, taking out the aforementioned theats. This Rotom is Physically Defensive, because most of the Mega Pokèmon and sweepers of the current metagame are physical threats. It runs Thunder Wave instead of Will-O-Wisp to cripple the current metagame's faster Pokèmon, and because the whole team is a bit slow. 28 Speed IVs are there to be slower than other Rotoms, in order to be able to grab momentum with Volt Switch. The 0 Attack IVs, instead, are there to take less damage from Foul Play.
Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Memento
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
Mega Charizard Y was a huge problem for the team, so i brought in Latios. Hit-and-run attacker with Draco Meteor, gets rid of Mega Venusaur and other dangerous Pokèmons with the Psyshock, Defogs entry hazards away, and uses Memento not only to avoid getting Pursuit-trapped, but also to help Breloom setupping. After a Memento, the opponent will most probably switch out, so you have a free Dancing turn. However, Breloom isn't the only Pokèmon in this team that can use Memento to Dance...
Scizor-Mega (M) @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
I guess that being a bulky and strong Steel-type, having a strong priority move that takes Fairies out, and the ability to use Latios' Memento to Dance makes Scizor Mega a good teammate. Standard Sword Dance attacker set, lacking Roost to hit steel types like Heatran, and being able to kill them if they're weakened enough even without Dancing. Why U-Turn on a Swords Dance set? Because i can U-Turn on a Wash Rotom that's coming in, doing a shit ton of damage. It can also be used to grab momentum during the opponent's switches, if i don't have the chance to setup.
Sylveon (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 SpA
Calm Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Protect
I changed the whole set from Specs to cleric, because i needed one and the cleric's Hyper Voices can take down Mega Sableye with no problem as well.
Standard cleric set, changed it because the team needed a recovery support, and something to take and heal status. Protect is for scouting moves and to heal some damage with Leftovers.
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
Well...like a friend of mine once said, Landorus-T is like pizza: it's good with everything.
Intimidate support, U-Turn momentum on switches, powerful STAB and EdgeQuake combo, fast Knock Offer. Nothing much to say about him.
So...that's all. Tell me what do you think of my team and tell me if there's something wrong, its important to me because i really want to improve my teambuilding skills.
Thanks!
